  • How to know the process chain start time & end time?

    HI all .
how to know the process chain start time & end time at the table level as well as in RSPC level .
    regards,
    Srinivas

    Hello,
there is a program "/ssa/bwt" which will help you to know the exact time when the process was started and ended.
but the thing is you have to provide name of the process chain with the date at which it was executed.
another option is - you can double click on start process and on the last process of the chain.
here, you will get both the timings... Start time of the start process will be the start time of your PC and end time of the last process in the chain will be end time of your PC.
    Hope this will help you.

    Hi Reddy,
You may find the run time of a PC using below steps.
    1. Call SE38 > /SSA/BWT > Execute  > Enter your PC , choose the date and time > Execute. Here Run-time of a PC is displayed. (or)
    2. Call RSPC1 > Enter your PC > Execute > Goto Log view > Right click on the start Variant > Displaying Messages > Note down the start time in Chain Tab. Now Right click on the last Process type of the PC > Displaying Messages > Note down the End time in Chain Tab. The Difference b/w start time and end time gives the Run-time of your PC.
    Hope this helps.

  • How to track the Last Execution of a Custom Program

    Hi all,
I want to know the last execution date of a Cutom Z program. Kindly tell me as where do we see the same. Is there any table where this is being saved.

    Hello Nikesh,
EXIT_SAPLS38E_001 is related to the user exits for the ABAP editor (Please read the documentation for details)
EXIT_SAPLSABE_010 is triggered everytime the report is started, i mean before INITIALIZATION (i laymans terms before selection-screen is displayed).
Please have a look @ [How to find First Program run in the Current Month in Foreground?|How to find First Program run in the Current Month in Foreground?]. You can very well implement this methodology as well

  • How to know the amount of ora 11g page-out  memory (sga and pga)?

How to know the amount of oracle 11g page-out memory ( sga and pga) in the SunSolaris 10 Unix and Linux.
I need to know how many oracle memory are being page-out ( all and for a one oracle server process).
    thanks

You can monitor the paging with vmstat or sar commands.
    http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B28359_01/server.111/b32009/tuning.htm#sthref500
You can also get the paging information on OEM home page if configured for your database.
But I don't know if there exists a method with which one can find out how much memory per session/server process is getting paged out.

Are you going to create a Z table for this ???? ... Is there nobody to advice you in your firm ???
    Hello Keshav,
A couple of years ago i would have recommended using the INDX table, but it has got it's demerits.
Maintenance of Z-table is easier than the INDX table. Say there is some error in the program & you want to override the flag. Will it be easier to do so in the INDX table or via SM30 for the Z-Table?
As a matter-of-fact i will recommend using the solution provided by Florian the TVARVC technique.
    1. Create a parameter(specific to your program) & transport it.(See the trxn STVARV)
    2. In your program check the value of this param & set it accordingly.
Using TVARVC you will 2 birds with one stone:
    1. You don't have to create a custom table.
    2. Easy maintenance via STVARV trxn.
    Hope you get the point!
    Cheers,
    Suhas
PS: In our system we have a Z-table designed specifically for this particular purpose. All the programs having this kind of requirement refer to this table.

    Hi Patricia,
is it working for restricted key figure and calculated key figure ??
Note Number Fisc Period Opening Days
    1 1 2
    2 1 3
    3 1 0
because I have other restriction, so I create two restricted key figure..
RK1  with restriction :  Total Number of Note,
RK2  with restriction :  Total Opening Days ,
then I Created a calculated key figure, average opening days in a period
    CK1 = RK2 / RK1..
in this case, I am not sure if it will work or not..
for example, during RK2 calclation, it might be this   2+3 = 5, the line with 0 will be ignored..
during RK1 calcualtion, it might be 1 + 1 + 1 = 3. ---> Not sure in this case, the line with opening days 0 will be calculated or not..
    could you please confirm..

  • With a contract number, how to know the total PO release value against it?

Usually one contract corresponds to multiple PO records, now we know the contract number, then how to know the total PO release value against this contract.  In other word, we would like to know the total release value of all the POs with the same contract number.  To just input the contract number in EKPO table? but then look for which field in this table to add these PO release values up?

the list of short dump in st22
is there any T.code or any table to clear?
    thanks in advance
    sundar.c

    Hi
you cannot delete the dumps through any tcode.
All the dumps are stored in table called SNAP, If there are more dumps the table gets filled therefore u have to reorganize the table.
Run the report RSSNAPDL in SE38.
    or
You have the default SAP background jobs, SAP_REORG_ABAPDUMPS which deletes the past dumps raised in the system.
Scheduling the jobs in regular is very important
