    Hi,
Go to RSO2 at source system, Enter data source and click on display.
if its table based then you can see table name there it self.
if its view based then notedown the view name and go to  SE11, provide view and click on display. see joined table names there.

    Hi Patricia,
is it working for restricted key figure and calculated key figure ??
Note Number Fisc Period Opening Days
    1 1 2
    2 1 3
    3 1 0
because I have other restriction, so I create two restricted key figure..
RK1  with restriction :  Total Number of Note,
RK2  with restriction :  Total Opening Days ,
then I Created a calculated key figure, average opening days in a period
    CK1 = RK2 / RK1..
in this case, I am not sure if it will work or not..
for example, during RK2 calclation, it might be this   2+3 = 5, the line with 0 will be ignored..
during RK1 calcualtion, it might be 1 + 1 + 1 = 3. ---> Not sure in this case, the line with opening days 0 will be calculated or not..
    could you please confirm..

  • Hi gurus how to provide the table field validations

hi gurus how to provide the table field validations , plz help me

    Hi,
Say you need to provide valdiation for WERKS(Plant) field.
Goto SE11. Find the domain of the field. (Say WERKS in our case.) now goto the domain, click on value range. Now at the bottom you will find the value table. Note this table (T001W).
In your report, at selection screen, you need to validate the field against this table. like this
    At selection-screen,
select single werks from T001W where werks = p_werks.
    if sy-subrc NE 0
message e000 with 'Plant not found'.
    endif.

  • How to know the table name of an InfoCub if we know cube technical name?

How to know the table name of an ODS if we know the ODS technical name?
    Thanks
Message was edited by: Kevin Smith

    hi kevin
if the ODS is a standard ODS then you check the following way in SE16
    (for custom ODS objects)
/BIC/A<ODS technical name>00 (Active Data Table)
    /BIC/A<ODS technical name>40  (Activation Queue)
/BIC/B<10 digit number> (Change Log Table)
    (for SAP defined ODS Objects)
/BI0/A<ODS technical name>00 (Active Data Table)
    /BI0/A<ODS technical name>40  (Activation Queue)
/BI0/B<10 digit number> (Change Log Table)
and for Transactional ODS Object you will have only the active data Table. So you need to check with /BIC/A<ODS technical name>00 for the custom ODS objects and /BI0/A<ODS technical name>00 for SAP defined ODS objects.
    hope this helps.

  • How can I know the delta field for CO-PA datasource?

    Hi,folks:
How can I know which is the field assigned as the delta field for CO-PA datasource,as is noticed in the note that after PI2004 the logic has been turned to general datasource, but I can't find the datasource through RSO2.
Full points will be given to u.
    Martin Xie

    Dear Martin,
The CO-PA DataSources generated use a separate time stamp method for the delta procedure. This procedure means that client-independent DataSources in CO-PA are normally restricted to the clients in which they were generated.

  • What is the table field for PO releaser in R/3 (4.7 Enterprise)?

    Hi Gurus out there:
Do you know if there is a table field for PO releaser in R/3 (4.7 Enterprise)?
We use for e.g. the transaction ME29N to release a PO and I haven't been able to find a DB table where the PO releaser is stored.
In DB table EKKO I can find the fields FRGGR (Release group), FRGSX (Release strategy), FRGKE (Release Indicator), FRGZU (Release status) and FRGRL (Release Not Yet Completely Effected) but no information of the user who released the PO.
    Many thanks in advance.

    Hi
<b>Have you tried reading the details of the PO Releaser using the BAPIs ?</b>

  • How to change the table's for an existing report

    Hello,
How can I change the table names for reports created with a different table name? for e.g If I created a report which included a table called "2009_10_example", How can I change that table to a different table "2010_10_example1".
I am using Crystal reports 2008, and the reports were created using Report Creating Wizard.
    Thanks,
    Abhishek

In the Database Menu, there is an option Set Datasource Location.  This allows you to pick a table from the current tables used, and select a table to replace it with.  Press the Update button, and Crystal will swap one for the other.  If the field names and data types are all the same, it will automatically change all references throughout the report to the new table's fields.
May I suggest that your tables are set up improperly if you have to change report code to run it for different months?  The data should all be in one table with dates, and parameters to select the date range to report on.  (That was said in the spirit of helping...)

  • How to clear the table contents for the new selection values?

    Hi,
Im developing some very basic web dynpro applications.I have created one application to demonstrate use of SERVICE CALL.Now in one of the COntext Nodes,I have one attributes as TABLE.I have 2 input fields and when i enter any sel critteria in these 2 fields, the table is populated accordingly. Now when i change the value in the input fields, the new output gets appended in the output TABLE.How do I clear the contents of the OUTPUT table attribute  in the method?
Can someone tell me the common methods used with context nodes like REFRESHING,CLEARING etc?How do I know which methods to call for what action of the nodes ...like for binding internal table to any context node we use the method BIND_TABLE...
Any inputs will be highly appreciated.
    Thanks!
    BR,
    SRM tech.

    Hi,
To clear the contents of the node, use invalidate method.
data: l_node type ref to if_wd_context_node.
    l_node  = wd_context->get_child_node( 'NODENAME' ).
l_node->invalidate( ). " all the data in the node will be cleared
To clear a single attribute you can use set_attribute_null.
