How to learn OA Framework ?

Hi all,
I want to learn OA Frameowrk from Scratch. But I do not have access to any Oracle Apps environment. Can someone help me with this ? Is there any web site which can help me in connecting to their instance and provide other details, e.g dbc file, responsibility and user names etc ?
Please help me. I would really be thankful.
PS: I have latest JDeveloper available with me.

How to learn Indesign CS3 SDK programming for windows

Hi, I am very new to plugin development.I am working in Indesign CS3 SDK (windows). But I am not able to write /understand the syntax of InterfacePtr. for eg : InterfacePtr<IClassIDData> orgDocFileHandlerData(doc, IID_ORGICLASSIDDATA); We get Pointer of any Interface , and pass some arguments . So can anybody help how to learn this programming , I am not finding any books or tutorials on this so that I can read from the basic. I have only referred to Programming Guide(CS3). Can anybody please help/explain me how to learn it? Thanks. Ravi Sharma

It's only my way of understanding about InDesign SDK : * SDK objects are know as 'boss(es)' and are accessed thru interfaces. * You can imagine object as collection of interfaces. And you can even aggregate new interfaces to existing objects. * When you have a reference to an interface of a boss, you can access other interfaces (of the same boss - or object) using the *amazing* syntax : (here, doc is a probably an IDocument interface on a kDocBoss object, and you want to access it's IClassIDData interface) InterfacePtr<IClassIDData> orgDocFileHandlerData(doc, IID_ORGICLASSIDDATA); * And finally, InterfacePtr has a reference counter, which allows the framework to destroy the interface object - not the boss of course, only the memory used by the object - when it's non mre referenced. I have created a wc on some 3ed party app server using apaches axis. I am trying to call that web service from XI using SOAP receiver? I need to add some security related headers to the soap message, SO I am trying to use a handler. I want to know how to configure this handler in SOAP axis adapter module.

I am trying exactly the same. Hers is the scenario.
ABAP Proxy --> PI (7.0) SP 12 ---> WebService.
Since This is service is secured, means it is using OASIS web servie securyty user name token,
I am trying to use AXIS adapter. and I want to configure HandlerBean in which I want to use apache wss4j api to add the userNameToken. I am looking for some documentation on this.
I need to add SOAP action element too as I can not configure this one on the communication channel.

First of all let us know what exactly you are looking for?
1) Are you looking for HR process or
2) You want to know the questions that are to be asked with the business users / end users , and based on that to start the business blue print for the implementation.
If you are looking for Q&A to be sent to the end users then you have to search SDN and will find lots of Q&A . But try to understand the minimum process of HR activities that will happen in any Organization before going a head.

Create Sales Order
1.     Use Transaction Code VA01
2.     Identify Sales Office
3.     Enter Sold-to-party (customer) and purchase order number and date if applicable
4.     Enter material, quantity and rate
5.     Credit income to account (Internal Order or WBS element)
6.     Enter partner (University contact details)
7.     Save Sales Order
Create Billing Document
1.     Directly after saving the Sales Order, follow the path Sales document> Billing.
2.     Save the billing document
Other than as a follow-on function
1.     Use Transaction Code VF01
2.     The sales order number will default in check that it is correct
3.     Save the Billing document
Print a Billing document immediately
1.     Use transaction code VF03
2.     Enter the Billing Document number.
3.     Follow path Issue Output to > Printer
4.     Click on execute twice
5.     To preview, follow the path Issue Output to > Screen and click on execute twice to view

If only plan data entered, try to delete the planning data before delete the object and then re-create it again. Otherwise you may have to leave it as is and change the description for the usage by the different company code.

In order to develop any OAF Application you need to know few concepts before doing any kind of development. The concepts are basically the Business Components for Java(BC4J) components.
They are:
Application Module(AM)
Entity Object(EO)
View Object(VO)
Association Object(AO)
View Link(VL)
Now let us see the description of each component.
Application Module:
Application Modules serve as a containers for related BC4J components. The pages are related by participating in the same task. It also defines the logical data model and business methods needed.They provide the transaction context and also used for establishing database connection. AM’s can be nested to provide more complex AM’s.
Entity Object:
EO encapsulates the business logic and rules.EO’s are used for Inserting,Updating and Deleting data. This is used for validating across the applications. We can also link to other EO’s and create a Association object.
View Object:
View object encapsulates the database query. It is used for selecting data. It provides iteration over a query result set.VO’s are primarily based on Eo’s. It can be used on multiple EO’s if the UI is for update. It provides a single point of contact for getting and setting entity object values. It can be linked together to form View Links.
Association Object:
An association object is created where we link EO’s. For example take the search page where we link the same EO to form a association between the manager and employee. Every employee should have a manager associated. But if it President then no there is no manager associated. This is a perfect example to understand the AO.
View Link:
A view link is an active link between view links. A view link can be created by providing the source and destination views and source and destination attributes. There are two modes of View link operation that can be performed. A document and Master/Detail operation.

    I have knowledge about SBO SDK and MS tools and developing Add-ons. What are others skill that I need to learn before starting SBOi?

I you are asking about "how to learn about B1i", you will need have understanding with SAP Business One, R/3, the SAP Business One integration for SAP NetWeaver (B1i) and have a good knowledge of data integration in general. With respect to SAP Business One, there are many ways to get information/knowledge on this by going to the SAP PartnerEdge Portal and clicking on the "Education" tab. You can also read the SAP Business One online help documentation. This type of learning couls also be done with R/3. In both the SAP Business One and R/3 case, you would need to be an SAP Partner to get to the PartnerEdge Portal. With respect to learning B1i, there are many whitepapers on SDN on the SAP Business One main page as well as more information on the PartnerEdge Portal.
