How to link LIPS table to VBPA table in infoset

I have created an infoset z_shipping using logical database 'vfv'. when i try to add table lips into vbpa i have found that the system is selecting single * from lips where vbelm and posnr field automatically. Is there anyway where I can select LIPS kdauf and kdpos?

U can link LIPS and VBAP in the following way.
Lips-VGBEL = Vbap-vbeln
Lips-VGPOS = Vbap-posnr.

I am new to SD and I am a technical person not a business person. But now I have to find out how to link a billing document of type Credit Memo (tcode VF03) with the invoice that originated it. I can see in the document flow of the credit memo (button Display Document flow) all the documents related but... where are those link in the data dictionary? I need the technical part that lays behind this. How can i follow the track of the former documents knowing only one of them?

VBFA table is for Document Flow for which you can see all the preceeding Documents.For Example VBRK ( Billing Table) --> LIKP ( Delivery Tabel ) and VBAK ( Order Tabel).Here for Billing Document the Preceeding Document is Delivery and for Delivery Doucment the Preceeding Document is Order.

Dont know how to link the relationships in these tables?

I have one table called holiday_details and another called date_holiday. I am trying to link the two together.
The column i am trying to link in the holdiay_details is holiday_code. This is the primary key in this table and a foreign key i want to link to date_holiday.
In the date_holiday there is a holiday_code column and a date_departed column.
For this table the same holiday can have many departure dates. E.g H1 (holiday_code) - 10-17-2010(date_departed). H1 - 11-20-2010. However the same holiday cant leave on the same date more than once. e.g H1 - 10-17-2010 = unique constraint violated.
Therefore i made a unique composite key of the two columns (holiday_code and date_departed) together.
When i try to reference holiday_code from my holiday_details column to my holiday_code on the date_holiday it wont work. Cant i reference it because it is a composite unique key? I dont know any other way to reference it. I cant make either the primary key, they have to be unique together.
Does anyone have a solution? Im completely stuck and any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I can't say to have a solution but will make some recommendations.
<li>Google Oracle Database Naming Conventions and find a better method of naming your tables, keys and attributes. Doing so will make your data structures and data models easier to understand.</li>
<li>Key both of your tables by Sequence</li>
<li>Document further what each of these tables represents and determine what the remaining attributes would be for each table.</li>
<li>Data model using SQL Developer or any other data modeling tool, an ERD in my opinion is much easier to read and later is a road map while developing and enhancing your application</li>
From what I could understand, I modeled the following:
holiday_tbl with a PK of holiday_seq (sequence)
holiday_departure_tbl with a PK of holiday_departure_seq and a FK key of holiday_seq
This would establish a one to many relationship, holiday_tbl to holiday_departure_tbl or holidays have one to many departures.
Your business rule of, a holiday can only one depart once on a given date, could be enforced either on the database or within your application.

A text table is a table that contains spoken-language descriptions of values in a check table. These descriptions are stored in multiple languages. The primary key of the text table is the same as the primary key of the check table, with the addition of a spras (language) column.
For example, the ztxt005 table has country codes in it. Country names are stored in a separate table named ztxt005t (shown in Figure 4.7) because you actually need many names for one country code. Because it stores language-specific descriptions of a generalized code, ztxt005t is called a text table.
The primary key of ztxt005t contains the same fields as the primary key of ztxt005, with the addition of a spras (language) column. The spras field contains the language code and enables this table to contain a description for multiple logon languages.
The primary key of any text table is composed of the fields mandt and spras, followed by the validation field (or fields). One or more description fields follow this primary key.
A foreign key relationship is defined on ztxt005t-land1 to check table ztxt005. The foreign key field type should be key fields of a text table.

How to fix Action Link Issue in Table and Pivot Table when used Section

My OBIEE Version: OBIEE 11.1.1.6.5
Issue Description: Action links (Navigate to BI Content) doesn't work in PIVOT TABLE or TABLE object when used Section area (one or more columns in Section area).
If you want to recreate this issue please follow next steps:
1.     First of all you have to create one analyse with min 3 columns (for example Time.“Calendar date“, Product.Product, „Base Fact“. Revenue -> from Sample Sales Lite )
2.     From column properties -> Set value Action Link Interaction on some column for example Product.Product (choose Navigate to BI Content -> any created BI report )
3.     Click Results Tab choose Pivot Table and assigned one dimension column to Section area
4.     Click preview icon
5.     When you click on action link nothing happens
6.     If you drug and drop column from Section Area to Excluded, Table or Pivot table Area then Action Link works perfectly
How to fix this issue?
I'll be grateful for any help!

The error posted seems to indicate that the DB Link is not functional at all. Has it worked for any other type of DML operation or is this the first time you ever tried to use the link?

How are attribute and text master data tables linked in SAP R/3?

how are attribute and text master data tables linked in SAP R/3?
Most tables with attribute master data like T001 for company codes,
have a text master data table T001T (add "T" to table name).
When looking at the content of table T001 via transaction se11,
the text are automatically joined.
But for some tables there is no "T"-table (e.g. table TVBUR for sales offices
has no text table TVBURT), but in se11 you get texts. There is an address
link in TVBUR, but the Name1, etc. are empty.
a) Where are the text stored?
b) How does the system know of the link?

The master and text table are not linked by name, of course, if you see the text table, it has the same key fields of master table, only it has the field key spras and the field for description.
The link beetween the tables is done by foreign key: if you check the text table TVKBT u need to see how the foreign key for field VKBUR is done:
-> Foreing key with table TVBUR
-> Foreing key field type -> KEY FIELD FOR A TEXT TABLE
->Cardinality-> 1-:CN
It's very important the attribute sets for Foreing key field type, if it's KEY FIELD FOR A TEXT TABLE, it'll mean the table is a text table: i.e. that mean the master table is a check table for the text table, where the foreign key type is for text table.
U can find out the text table of master table by SE11: GoTo->Text Table
U can fined some information in table DD08L.

I need help figuring out how to Link Data from one table in Sharepoint to another table in Sharepoint and make it dynamic

Hi Everyone,
I am working on a project that uses SharePoint 2010 for repository and we have multiple tables that we are using.
One table is a list of the various projects we are working on (workstreams)
The other is a table with various notes and such, to include meeting notes for the various projects.
Currently we are just copying the shortcut from the meeting notes table and adding it in as a link in the workstreams status table.
I need to find out if there is some sort of way to make this process dynamic so that when a new note is added for, lets say workstream #1 in the notes table, it will automatically propogate into the notes link section for workstream #1.
Is this even possible??
And if so how would I do it
I haven't done much with modifying SharePoint in several years, and would Truly appreciate any and all help with this.

According to your description, my understanding is that you want to create a link in the workstreams list linked to the associated item of the notes list.
Assuming the workstreams list has Title column and another column called “Note” used to linked to notes list, and the notes list has Title column and another column used to store note.
Then you can create a workflow on the notes list with SharePoint Designer 2010, and in the workflow, using “Update ListItem” action. And in the workflow Start Options, select “Start workflow automatically when an item is created”.
For the workflow action, you can set as the screenshot:
For the string in the String Builder, you need to open an item of notes list, then copy the URL of the display form and paste here, the URL will look something like this:
http://sp/Lists/notes/DispForm.aspx?ID=1&Source=http%3A%2F%2Fsp%2FLists%2Fnotes%2FAllItems%2Easpx&ContentTypeId=0x0100300025278693CE49A5E3A394B23AD9E1&IsDlg=1
Now, you need to replace the ID of the item using [%Current Item:ID%], for example in the above link, delete the number 1 and add [%Current Item:ID%].

How to link a summary table

I am using Crystal 10 and trying to develop a donor percent participation report, comparing donors to total number of class members (donors per class/good addresses per class) * 100. The number of class members comes from a summary table of good address counts that remains static throughout the year.
1)      I can create a view for the good address counts but Iu2019m unclear as to the way to link this view to the table of donors. I canu2019t link ID to ID since itu2019s a summary and doesnu2019t have a row per ID (I need address counts for ALL IDs not just the ones who are donors).
2)      If I put the view in a subreport, I get only one result not a count for each group which is class year.
3)      If I put the subreport in the class year group to get a result returned for each class but the subreport creates unwanted blank rows in the export to Excel.
I am looking at the last option but wonder if there is some other way that Iu2019m overlooking. Any help is appreciated.

How to make a magnifying glass link to a look up table ?

Dear Friends,
Hello. I am developing the accounting application of journal entry. In journal line, I use the image "magnifying glass" next to each chart field. When we click on the magnifying glass, it's supposed to come up a look up table( a chart and name mapping table), and we select the proper chart to input into the chart field.
I understand to create another record and page for the look up table. But I don't understand how to make a magnifying glass link to a look up table. Can anybody tell me how to do that ? Thanks.

This is how it works,
Table A (which stores chart fields). You have used fields from table A on a page so that users can input data.
You don't need to put a magnifying glass image or create a new page to achieve look up page.
all you need to do is create another table say Table B which should have the chart field and corresponding description you want to show on lookup page. Then open record-field property of the chart field on Table A and mention Table B as prompt table.

If you do not want to specify it as hard code, then define a variable for it if you want to pass the value for it from the selection screen so that it will be dynamic. Code will be as follows.
select-options: x_KSCHL for T685l-KSCHL.
select kwert
           kbetr
           knumv
           kposn
           kschl
      from konv
      into CORRESPONDING FIELDS OF TABLE it_konv
      FOR ALL ENTRIES IN it_all
      where knumv = it_all-knumv

You can insert LinkToAction column in table.you can have two cattributes in Valuenode one is of type boolean and other is of type string(empno)
you can create eventhander in that you can fire plug to seconf view where you can displays the emp details

How to link MM & FICO Tables

I have a requirement to extract the data from the transaction FBL1N ( i.e. from BSIK & BSAK) to get the details of XBLNR-Reference Document & WRBTR-Amount in Document Currency to display in the MM-Purchasing reports. In MM-Purchasing tables we are using ( EKKO, EKPO, EKBE) tables. Bothe FBL1N & the MM-Purchasing custom report runs based on Vendor & Company code.
Please provide how to link these two.

You can link the two tables using joins.
Here's one simple example.
Select matnr ersda mtart maktx into corresponding fields of table itab1 from mara as a inner join makt as b on amatnr = bmatnr.
If you want to use outer join use outer join in place of inner join.

I can go to CRMD_ORDERADM_H to get the Survey GUID. Someone told me that i can go to CRMD_LINK table to get the Value GUID, but when i enter the Survey Guid, the table only returns three records (objtype_set = 07, 30 & 29; NO 58), so, i am lost. I don't know how to link table crmd_orderadm_h with table crm_svy_db_svs.

What is the end result that u expect ? do u need the survey details or what ? do u want the survey details that is linked to a particular order ?
Call the FM as follows
CRM_ORDER_READ
EXPORTING
IT_HEADER_GUID = (your order guid)
IMPORTING
ET_SURVEY = (survey table)
The survey table will give u list of surveys (with their Survey GUID's). I would recommend using this FM, as it would take care of buffers etc. which might not be available if u try a direct select on tables.
