How to link to another Form? Urgent

I'm using netbean to develop an application, I've a MIDLet with Login Page, I've used setCurrent(list) to display a list when I click "enter". It works fine, but when I want it to display another Form when I click "new" under the list using the same method, it does work. Any solution to this?

No, you can't as the <a> tag in the HTML specification doesn't account for command like switches.
Another way to go would be to use a web based form on your intranet/extranet which they can fill out and generates an email or database record with the feedback of that user.

How to call to another form declare in different class ???????

hi, i'm beginner in j2me...
I was wondering how to call to other form(class) in the current form...
For example,

you MUST have a reference to the other class or MIDlet in the current MIDlet ...
i think that i have answered to these kind of questions a few month ago.. you should use the 'search' engine to find the topic..
CLDC and MIDP forum is not a huge forum compare to Java Programming forum so it will be easy !

How to link to another page in same application?

I think I have a brain fog right now. Cause I can't figure this out.
I would like to link to another page in the same application by way of just an arbitrary word in a paragraph.
I am not trying to pass any values. I am not using a button or a text item.
How can I make a link out of a word?

I imagine myself, that you have a html text and you want to have a hyperlink to another page in your application.
For instance you have a text like: "I want to create a hyperlink to a page"
Now, if your mouse passes the word "hyperlink", you want to see that magic 'hand'.
First copy the URL of the target page: something like this -> "http://127.0.0.1:8080/apex/f?p=100:2:3122716493255005::NO:::"
Than change your html text in this way:
I want to create a hyperlink to a page

I have created a page that has a photo gallery using Donald's tutorial to make a spry photo gallery. I have a need to link to a specific photo in that gallery from another page. I have seen the discussions on how to do this with tabbed panels etc.. but wondering how to do it in this context.

Is it possible to add a link to another form on a form?

I'm using Adobe Standard 6.0.3 and am rendering the forms using FormServer. I just need to be able to click on a button and go to a URL in a separate browser. I've tried this with xfa.host.gotoURL, but couldn't get it to open in the separate browser. I think launchURL works great with Acrobat 7.0, but we are stuck with 6.0.3. Any ideas?

I think you are stuck until you use launchURL in 7.
You could try something funky along the lines of.. click a button, which submits to the server... server returns a JSP.. JSP uses window.open() to open a new browser with the new URL... then the JSP also uses Form Server to rerender the form you were previously viewing.
Certainly not a straight forward solution, but all I can think of at the moment.

Forcing link in one web based PDF to open link to another PDF in new browser window

We have created a form using LiveCycle Designer ES2. The form is found on our website and is used by faculty to submit proposal information to our office. Depending upon the answers to questions in the form if they say yes we had a link to another form that we would like them to complete and submit with the original PDF that they are working on. The problem that we are having is that when they click on the form it opens the new PDF and all the data that they had entered in the original PDF is gone once the new form opens up. Is there a way to force the new PDF via the use of some scripting that can go along with the link, or via the use of a button that can force the new form to open in a new browser window? It is impractical for us to expect 1500 faculty members to change their browser settings to open new PDF's in a new window. We have removed the links for now and have just put in text that says if they select yes they need to go out and complete the additional form.

The first three questions on page two where we reference the other forms is where we would like to be able to add the links to the new forms and have them open in a new browser window. When the form is downloaded and opened in Adobe Acrobat/Reader the links functioned correctly, it just did not function properly when it opens in a browser.

I used a button, removed the border/fill properties and underlined the caption to look like a URL.

I have created a custom program where I am passing a range of Sales Order no, Partner Function, Output type and Application as my input in selection screen.
Logic:

I read the GUI_DOWNLOAD FM documentation, if I am trying to download binary type of file, It is mandatory to pass file size.
In my case, since I am having PDF file, so i don't no how to get the size of the pdf file.
As you said, if i use Convert_OTF FM, i don't have data to pass to the OTF and LINES tables.
I am having values of PDF in xstring format in ls_output1-pdf, which i got using the below FM.
CALL FUNCTION lv_funcname (FM name)

But still I am not sure, how the pdf output is coming for single input whereas if i give in a range, its failing. In single input, i am not giving binary file size still the output is coming.. but for range its not. Kindly help me out in this.

Getting my report portlet, to link to my form portlet

I am attempting to put together a portal page that has the
following components:
A- Form Portlet with a Pull Down that links to a
B- Report Portlet built by a SQL Statement that links to a
C- Form Portlet that acts like a Property Sheet from the Report
A drives B that drives C, all within the same page, using page
refreshes, to show the linkage after clicks.
I have been able to put this together because, I have used the
explanation found in the Advanced Portal Presentation put
together by Kenneth Atkins, that can be found at
http://www.arrowsent.com.
It provides a really good explanation on how to link portal
components(forms, reports, etc) using the pdk.
I have attempted to use what he has put together, and in general,
it is all working, as he has explained in your ppt, except the
very last bit. Where B refreshes C
That is, my pull down form refreshes the report, just fine.
and then when I click on my "item" in the report, to refresh my
detail form, it does that, but what it brings, up is the item, I
clicked on previously. It's like the "C" Component wants to show
the previously selected item, rather than the current one.
I am using Portal 3.0.9, on 8.1.7, and this behaviour is
consistent on both Solaris and Win2000
I have included the PL/SQL code that is inserted in "Before page
processing section" of the "C" form.
My guess is, that I have syntax wrong in either the do_event line
or I am not setting the rowid for the auto_query to work
properly.

How to open a form based on the the parameter in another Form

I created a button in a form (FORM1). By clicking this button, I want to open another form (FORM2) based on the a value of one key field in this form(FORM1). Both forms have the same key field.
So, I wrote the following codes behind the PL/SQL Button Event Handler of the custom event for the button that I created in FORM1.
