I'd like to link to online 9iR2 database documentation on OTN. Just by browsing OTN I got, for example,

1)u can go with JDBC n JDO combination.

How to escape double quotes in database link login

CREATE DATABASE LINK AA
CONNECT TO NAME
IDENTIFIED BY PASS"WORD
USING "DOMAIN"
given error of missing double quote identifier. already tried PASS\"WORD, 'PASS"WORD', \PASS"\WORD, \"PASS\"WORD, PASS+CHAR(34)+WORD. no luck.
I am not in position to change the database password. It can be successfully connected without database link.

How can you link up online files to a offline file

I have asked this question before, but did not get the answer I needed. So I though for a bit and came up with a more understand able question and how to explain it and here it is:
What I want to know, is how can you link an online html link to an offline swf file? Now this is needed because people need to download the swf file in order to use it, I have tried this: file://swf/Lr1.swf (link), but it doesn't work it comes up with not found. So can any one help?

Personally I think you are going about this all wrong. I believe someone recommended to you in a previous post to look into the HTML5 ( http://forums.adobe.com/thread/874917 ) you need to end up creating the site with Adobe AIR as opposed to the way you are going about doing it. That would be creating an application like Tweetdeck that connects to the internet and uses interactive elements. http://www.adobe.com/devnet/air.html
If you want to link a file within a Flash document you would receive a quicker and more in depth answer in the Flash forum as it will require ActionScript.

It sounds like you have a ton of ideas, but your lack of information suggests that 1. you don't have all the knowledge necessary to get the project off the ground and 2. your reluctance to share it suggests that you have an idea that you feel the program is proprietary. Given that this is the case you might be best served looking for an experienced Flash or AIR developer to help get your ideas going in motion. There is nothing wrong with trying to learn but the information you are giving up to go on is very broad and unfortunately it does not appear that you are getting the answers you are looking for.

How get rid of flashback info in database documentation?

Hi everyone,
I tried to create a database documentation in SQLDeveloper using the context menu on the connection icon.
For each table SQLDeveloper extracted flashback info, amounting to several GB. It took hours to complete!
Is it possible to disable this feature somehow? I do not want flashback scns to be part of a documentation, for sure!

I'm assuming you've tried all of the different options when you configure the express VI. That being the case, you should just skip using the Write to Measurement File. It is purposely designed for a limited number of options and it is not a trivial task to edit the function. Much simpler to use some of the lower level file i/o functions such as Write to Spreadsheet File or Write to Text File.

How to create linked server to multiple database on same server?

Hi Experts
I want to create linked server to multiple databases on the same server.
I have 2 database servers (ServerA and ServerB) and want to create linked server on ServerB to link multiple databases on ServerA).
I have admin right on ServerB.
I don't have admin right on ServerA but have different accounts to access on each databases on ServerA.
After I created one linked server object to a database, I cannot create another linked server object for another database as it has already used the server name which is ServerA.
Please advise.

Please look up the details for sp_addlinkedserver as I typed this from memory.
I can certainly see a point in having one linked server per database, as then you don't have to hardcode the database name in the queries, and the linked-server definitions can be changed if the database name changes.

I want to create an Oracle database. I have an existing SQL database. I have created an sql file of the SQL database. Should I just run this file from the sql prompt? Do I need to create a service id for the new database and then run the sql file? Also please can anyone tell me how different is this task in Oracle 8i and Personal Oracle? Link iWeb to a database?

Is there any way that I can link my iweb created site to a database? I'm trying to create an online ticket-booking system. I'm not sure how to link the site to the database, and I also don't know which database software to use since MS ACESS is not available for Mac. I'm downloading Open Office at the moment. I would really appreciate the help, this is for my school ICT project.

Theoretically yes, if you publish your site from iWeb to your desktop/local folder, then you should be able to open it using Dreamweaver. However, in practice, things could be all over the place with both code and pages.
If you have Dreamweaver available and you want to use a database, which iWeb does not offer, then why not create the whole site using Dreamweaver? It might be simpler and save you time and trouble in the end.

How to link Interactive fields in acrobat 9Pro

Hi Im new in this and I would like to now how to link interactive fields in acrobat.
lets say that I have 10 files (File1, File2, File3 etc......) and each file have the same COMBO BOX that display 5 options (option 1. option 2, option 3, option 4 and option 5), all 10 files have the same combo box with the same options, but i want to DELETE option 3 from each file.
So, how can I do it, beacuse right now I have to do it manually each file at the time, and in real I dont have 10 files I have 500.

I am not so sure yet but in the PLD properties window on general tab of SBO 2005A there is field name link to. its description is :
Creates a link between several fields, to determine if the system collectively displays or hides them. If a field is blank or hidden, its linked fields are not printed either.
To create the link, choose the Unique ID of the field to which you want to link the selected field.
If the field Total Liable in the document is set to zero there is no need to print the Tax, Discount, and Total fields. It is possible to link these fields to the field Total Liable by selecting its unique ID in the field Link to, found in each one of their Properties windows. This will then hide the fields when Total Liable is zero.
If a linked field is not yet calculated, the field is ignored.
