You mentioned that you can see the system state backup size in the GUI. Does the backup size mean the amount of date transferred?
It seems that there is no such a PowerShell to get Systemstate Backup size. You may need to you need a PowerShell scripts to do this work.

Ah OK, my mistake. I was thinking ASA - I believe you are using an IOS-based VPN.
The state after establishment should be "QM Idle" (quick mode) - whether the Phase 1 was MM or AM.
I think you'll only see the AM in the debugs (like you have) or if you watch the output of the "show cry isa sa" command during establishment of the Phase 1 SA. If you're quick, you may see it cycle through as shown in this reference:

How do I create a partition using diskutil command

I've shrunk my original partition and now filevault2 has converted it to corestorage, as follows:
$ diskutil list
/dev/disk0
   #:                       TYPE NAME                    SIZE       IDENTIFIER

Now Disk Utility tells me it won't create any new partitions, and to use the command line "diskutil". I guess it doesn't work with anything other than HSF or FAT.
But, reading "man diskutil" reveals no command option to add an individual partition. Can someone help .. what is the option to add an additional partition without disturbing the others? As I read it, partitionDisk and splitPartition are both destructive. I see that resizeVolume is non-destruction, but I'm fearful of making any changes to the 4 existing partions, since they're all System partitions.
And, while I'm asking, I also don't see any remove option listed .. maybe mergePartitions, but again, I'd be reluctant to merge something into one of these system partitions for fear of killing it?

AFAIK, you have to turn off FV2, restart, and then repartition. But, that's just a WAG.

Using ESSCMD Commands

Hi. Could you help me?
I'm trying to create a few members in a dimension using BUILDDIM command.
I open the MDX Editor at Essbase and type the following command.
BUILDDIM 1 "<rule_name>.rul" 4 "<user>" "<password>" "<error_file>.txt";
This load rule uses SQL statements to load the data into the outline.
After running Essbase returns a message saying "Syntax error near ['BUILDDIM']"
Is there anything missing at the command I'm trying to run?

there is no editor for Esscmd only MaxL. Depending on what version you are on, the Esscmds are still there. Unless you are on version 6, I recommend using MaxL instead of Esscmd. All new functionality is being built in MaxL and it can do everything the Esscmd could and more. If you have old Esscmd scripts, there is a conversion program called cmd2mxl in the Essbase\bin directory which does most of the work for you.

There are several sub directories under My_project folder such as D:\My_project\Outfile folder which I would like to refer while using UTL_FILE command to process files.
When I try to run the following PLSQL

The above statement does nothing. I am not sure what command i need to use to access to the command line.
When i try this particular statement from linux machine command prompt :- /u01/GnuPG/bin/gpg -e -r Developer /u01/oracle/ConfigFiles/Adapter_controlDir/abc.csv
It works absolutely fine and it creates the encrypted files also.
Please suggest , which command i need to use from the java embedding.

I think, you can try, writing these commands into a separate shell script and call that shell script from bpel via Java embedding. However, you might not get a return response.. but you can still give a shot.

I need to change a large number of machines over to using a pac file instead of the current settings for secure and web proxys.
It's not possible using 10.4 CLI command networksetup but I'm wondering if anyone may have another way of doing this ? Possibly a script or something ???

How do I control the size of a command buttoon in a table control?

Thanks for the reply, I came to that conclusion as well. What I have is a mixed table with instructions that word wrap in one cell, a command button to log step completion, and I needed the row height to be set to the tallest cell contents, so all I really needed to do was set the word wrap for my text instruction cell, and then as each row is programmatically inserted and the table is populated call:
SetTableRowAttribute(panel, table, row, ATTR_SIZE_MODE, VAL_USE_EXPLICIT_SIZE);
SetRowHeightToTallestCellContents(panel, table, row);
That will allow the row to be sized accordingly without having to worry about the number of visible text lines for the text cell.

How to reduce jpg file size, not pixel dimensions?

I am preparing images for the web and I really have 2 questions: one about gifs, and one about jpgs.
My standard procedure is to reduce the image to the desired pixel dimensions at 600 dpi
That gives me a crisp small image. then I either use it as is if the file size is low enough (I try for under 600 kb) or convert it to a gif with the save for web and devices tool.
So here are my 2 questions (I will count this solved with either answer)
1) When I convert to a gif I have the 4 boxes: one with original size, the other 3 with options but often the options are too low res for me How do I change my 3 options to start at a higher gif res?
2) If I try to reduce the file size of the jpg in the image size box I set the resolution lower ( 400, 300), which lowers the pixel dimensions and the filesize, but I don't want to cahnge the pixel dimensions. And If I reset the pixel dimensions back to the size I want them, even though it is a lower resolution the file size doesn't change. How to reduce jpg file size using only the resolution, not pixel dimensions? PS I have tried messing with checking and unchecking the 3 little boxes( scale styles, constrain proportions, and resample) but nothing has worked.

Gif is not a great filetype, especially if you want a crisp image. What are your pixel dimensions?
For web, it makes no difference what the dpi is, only the final pixel dimensions so once you have that as you want, use 'Save for Web and Devices' and you can lower the quality - 100% being max and 0% being lowest. I wouldn't save anything below 55%. For a 600kb image, your dimensions must be rather big.

srvctl add listener is not support in 10g ,
but in 11g you can add listener using srvctl

I would guess that the HDMI port on your mac is for output only - no input, and that's what your'e attempting to do when you attach the mac to your xbox. I looked in Mactracker and it lists the HDMI port as video output for both the 13" Retina MacBook Pro and the 15" Retina MacBook Pro (your post didn't say which one you have), so looks like that is the issue..
