How to look for a local file ?

I 've completed an app and wrote a documentation (word-document).
I would like my app to find the location of this document wherever it is on the local hard-drive.
That is,when the user presses Help,the program should find the file document.doc and invoke winword.exe document.doc .
How can the app find the file even if it is in a complete different directory?

Well, you start at the root and either iteratively or recursively do a search of the present directory and all subdirectories. Recursively the type of search is called a breadth first or depth first search.
Once you find the doc, you can invoke winword with a product from neava.com called coroutine.

Did You ever use - iPhoto ?
Did You may be direct iPhoto to a different Photo Library
As iMovie tries to find the appropriate photo library - it can get lost if iPhoto direct it into a Library on a not connected external hard disk or to a strange location - And iMovie HANGS.
Do - When no other program is running that might interfere
• Start iPhoto - BUT NOW KEEP alt-key (option key) DOWN during the full Start-Up process
• Now iPhoto let's You select Photo Library
• Select the one in Your Account / Home folder / Pictures ! !
• Then iPhoto should start up OK
• Now Quit iPhoto
• START iMovie
Does it still hangs - then I would suspect - iMovie Pref. file
If it Run's OK - Then HURRAY !

How to look for spaces in an extract file in order to trigger a MOVE_IT rule

In studio I am defining a variable field on a section and I want to pull information from my extract file using a simple MOVE_IT rule.
I am trying to pull information from a record that has spaces in columns 10-14. How do I enter the information required in the DATA field to request this?
For example, if I was pulling the information from a record that had "XXXXX" in column 10-14 I know the DATA field would be 10,XXXXX
I cant seem to figure out how to look for spaces at a particular offset.

Using XPath to locate the elements you are after is very easy.

Service for delete local files in Business Connector

I have used the "get" service for copy the files in the Business connector, does anybody know if there is any service for delete local files, i have seen the service for delete remote files with ftp, but i don´t know how to delete the copied files in my server.

For this issue the best choice is create your own Java Service. I attach you the Java code:
Put this code in a new Java Service
         boolean success = (new File("filename")).delete();
         if (!success) {
             // Deletion failed
   Before, you must to create an input parameter in the new service where you must to save the file path. Change Filename with the input parameter variable.
   It's not difficult.

Why tomcat is still looking for old jar files?

Please help me it is a very serious problem.
I updated one of the jar files used by the project. I am using a new method that is available only in the new library. I removed the old jar files in my local system, and everything worked fine. Then I commit those files to the subversion, which is in the testing server, and then I created the war file. The war is successfully created, then I deployed to the tomcat. But, now there is an error in the portion I am using the method that is only available in the new jar files.
One of the error when I go to that portion is:
1. No Such Method Exists
The other errors on log files are:
1.
WARNING: Failed to open JAR
java.util.zip.ZipException: No such file or directory
2.
validateJarFile(tomcat/webapps/ROOT/WEB-INF/lib/j2ee.jar) - jar not loaded. See Servlet Spe
c 2.3, section 9.7.2. Offending class: javax/servlet/Servlet.class
Please help me, I have tried every other way to solve this. I have tried removing all the old jar files there were, and replacing with the new one. I have tried creating a war file and ftping to the testing server.
I problem is still there and it is because the testing server's tomcat is still looking for old jar files. I used Netbeans and add jar files as usual method.

Check the contents of your WAR file that you are deploying on the testing server to see if it contains the JAR that you can't find.
More than likely you are building your WAR file and your new JAR file is not being included in the build.

Problem with my program looking for the settings file in the wrong folder

I have been writing a simple FTP file uploader, what I want to do is be able to select the files I want to upload in windows explorer and then right click and click the menu item and it launches the program and passes the files paths that I have selected to it.
So I use this in the windows registry "C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.6.0_03\bin\java.exe -jar D:\BenFTP\BenFTP.jar %1"
It launches fine and has no problem finding the files I want to upload. The problem is that it tries to look for the settings file in the same folder that the file I am try to upload is in. Which it's not suppose to do since the settings file is in the same folder that the .jar is in.

So, you're looking for your settings file in your current working directory. There's no way to set the CWD in your registry entry (is there?) so that isn't a practical thing to do. Presumably you're using a File object or a FileReader or something? Can't do that.
One alternative is to look for the settings file in the classpath. You can get a URL to a file in the classpath like this:URL settings = this.getClass().getResource("/settings.xml");Or you can get an InputStream to read the file by using the getResourceAsStream method. You would have to make sure that your executable jar file contained a Class-Path entry that specified the right directory, because the directory the jar is contained in isn't automatically in an executable jar's classpath.
Another alternative is to ask the user where the settings file is supposed to be, and put an entry in the Preferences (java.util.prefs) to remember that location.

If you want to see the structures then go to SE11. Sometimes it happens that you cannot find the table names but only fields. In such case, if you want to find the Table names which is not available, then go to SE90.
Abap Dictionary > Fields > Table Fields.
Now Enter the Field name in Right Hand Side of the screen then Execute. You will see the all tables by which that Fields are used.

You can see the FI Doc. thru' given instruction
Go to T-code CJI3 then fillup the WBS no. in which you want to see the Settlement document.
Execute then filter up document type AA double click on this & click on FI document.
