How to loop through xml records and repeatedly display

I have 1 table in my rtf and the table typically reflects 1 row (grouping) from my xml data, however there are some instances where i need to take 1 row from my xml data and display the table multiple times.
i.e.
xmldata:
item TOTAL_QTY CONTAINER_QTY
x 500 250
I need to take that row and display the table in my rtf two times. I tried to encapsulate my table in a <?for-each:xdoxslt:foreach_number($_XDOCTX,0,TOTAL_QTY,CONTAINER_QTY)?> loop looping/re-displaying the table until a reach TOTAL_QTY, but once I'm in this loop it's like i dont have access to the actual xml data fields. How can I achieve this effect?

How to Loop through another list and update a column with SharePoint Designer 2013 Workflow

I am trying to get my head around the new 2013 Workflow Engine and SharePoint Designer 2013 Workflow Text-Based Designer.
I have two lists.
List A has 2 columns: Title, Completed (Yes/No)
List B has 3 columns: Title, LookupListATitle, Completed (Yes/No)
All the 2013 Workflow components have been installed and configured and I am selecting the 2013 Workflow option in SPD
I am trying to set off a 2013 Workflow when an item in List A is edited to Loop through List B and select items where the LookupListATitle column's value is equal to the Title value of the current item, and set the value of the Completed column for those
items in ListB to "Yes".
I have the Workflow configured like this:
Stage: Stage 1
IF Current Item:Completed equals Yes
Loop: 1
The contents of this loop will run repeatedly while: ListB:LookupListATitle equals Current Item: Title
Update item in ListB.
(The dialog options for the update item action as follows:
List: ListB
Field: Completed, Value: Yes
In the Find the List Item section
Field: LookupListATitle
Value: Current Item: Title)
Transition to stage
Go to End of Workflow
When I update an item in ListA and set its Completed column to Yes, I would expect the Workflow to find all the items in List B where the Lookup column is equal to ListA's Title (there are 2) and update their Completed column to Yes. But it doesn't work.
When I look at the Workflow Status it says the Internal Status is "Canceled" and the information pop up has the following alien language (and may be truncated):

I would love to find some tutorials, or any books on SharePoint Designer 2013 in general and Workflows in particular but my searches haven't turned up much so far apart from a pre-release Beginning SharePoint Workflows which is in its very early stages and

Can anyone give me some guidance on how to set up While Loops to iterate through a related list using SharePoint Designer 2013?

Hi,
I understand that you wanted to update the items in the other list (Participants) where the Course equals the Current Item.
You need to use “Call HTTP Web Service" action and “Build Dictionary" action to get the Maxid and then loop Participants to update the items.
You can follow the steps as below to achieve what you want:
Create a custom list named Courses, add columns: Title(Single line of text), Course ID(Single line of text), Course Finalised (Yes/No).
Create a custom list named Participants, add columns: Title(Single line of text), Course(Lookup), CourseFinalised (Yes/No).
Create workflow associated to Courses, start the workflow automatically when an item is created or changed.
Add conditions and actions:
The HTTP URL is set to
https://sitename/_api/web/lists/GetByTitle('listname')/items?$orderby=Id%20desc and the HTTP method is set to “GET”. Then the list will be order by Id and desc.
Then if Course Finalised is equal to Yes, the CourseFinalised of the associated items in Participants will be updated to Yes.

How to loop through XML data in a table of XMLType?

I am failry new to xml document processing in Oracle using PL/SQL.
My DB version: Oracle Database 10g Enterprise Edition Release 10.2.0.3.0 - 64bit Production
I have successfully loaded an xml document into a table using the following two statements:
1) CREATE TABLE mytable2 OF XMLType;
2) INSERT INTO mytable2 VALUES (XMLType(bfilename('IMAGE_FILE_LOC', 'IFTDISB20100330172157C002.xml'), nls_charset_id('AL32UTF8')));
Now I need to traverse through the various nodes within the xml document and extract values of elements of each node. The question I have is:
How do I loop through a node? A VALID record is enclosed within the <checkItem> </checkItem> tags.

I really need to update my blog to get the example you are looking for posted. I did a quick search on the forums for XMLTable and found a good example at {message:id=4325701}. You will want to use OBJECT_VALUE in the PASSING clause where you need to reference the column in your table.
Note: See the FAQ in the upper right for how to use the tag to wrap objects to retain formatting. Also your XML is missing closing nodes.

I guess application by default creates a SystemManager
object... So i used
this.systemManager.popUpChildren.numChildren and it gives me
0 all the time.. even though I have instances of windows to the

I have configured using For each loop container and ADO.net rowset enumerator.
Every thing is fine, but after running my package I am getting below error

How to loop through a collection of records which is return value of func.

Forms 6i is an antique ... write your code to run on the server.

How to loop through records in the block

Hello,
I have 2 blocks one emp_control_block and the other one based on the emp. The emp control block basically has some search critieria which is then passed onto the emp block to execute the query. However, I don't want to show any emp block data until the user presses the search button in the control block then I automatically want to make visible the EMP block and also set the width of columns. Right now, in the properties I have not assigned any Canvas to the EMP Block
Can anyone tell me How do I loop through the block and show the items/columns in a canvas that I have already created. Any example of the code would be really appreciated. Thanks

I tried your code but I get NO NAVIGABLE ITEMS IN DESTINATION BLOCK error. In the property palette for the items in the EMP block I have assigned Null as Canvas because I want to programatically assign it to the emp_stack_canvas. How do I do that? Also I want to change the item width for each column to say a fixed width of 50.

The above query returns all items in the table....I am trying to limit the number of records returned based on limit I pass...If the user enters 2, only two items from the node has to be returned. I am not having a clue on how to do this. It would be great if any one can help me...

Looping through each record

Hi everyone
I am new in crystal reporting and using Crystal Reports XI release 2. Firstly I should explain what I need to have. In my database I have got a parent table called Initiatives and a child table called benefits. One initiative has got many benefits associated with it and benefits are updated regularly by the users. Now my manager wants me to create an Initiative reports in such a way that all the initiatives are displayed and against each initiative there should be a box filled with either of these colour (red, yellow, green).
Let's say if Initiative "X" has got 10 benefits and if one or more benefits are outstanding by more than 2% then the colour of the box should be red. And if no benefit is outstanding by more than 2% and one or more benefits are outstanding more then 1% and less then 2% then colour of box should be yellow. And if no benefit is outstanding more than 1% then colour of box should be green.
Now for this I have created a report displaying all initiatives and a sub report with a SQL command containing the data from the benefits table. I have also included a database field which I would use as a box.
Now I want to loop through each record of the crystal report till the last record and format the field as per condition. I would probably use nested loop to look for the status of the benefits but I don't know how to do this in CR. In short I am looking to do this thing in CR

Almost every formatting aspect of each object in Crystal can be controlled via expressions. Just click on the expression button to the right of the property...

I am looking for an example of how to loop through an xml structure, preferrably in VBScript, but I will take a Javascript example and try to figure out how to adapt it.
Is a FOR EACH loop possible? In normal VBScript you can do something like this...

I am sure there is probably a way to do it with XPath, but I haven't been able to find any examples of using XPath with VBScript.

Kasyan, thank you for the reply. I looked at that part in the book and I have tried using the example code, but I am having difficulty in understanding how it is being used, maybe you, or someone can help to explain it.
So in an example like this:

There are 5 things that I am not understanding.
1. How is "xpath" being used? I don't see another occurance of it other than when the variable xpath is set.
2. How is name being used? I don't see another occurance of it other than when the variable name is set.
3. Why is "Public Function apply" created in each class? In the examples in the book, that function exists in each Class. Why not just create the function outside of the class and call it from inside the class?
4. Where is the "apply" function being called from? It doesn't get called from inside or outside the class on the example pages anywhere?
5. Where are the values of myXMLElement and myRuleProcessor being set before they are used in the function?
Even in the examples you gave, once I set the xpath value, what do I do with it after that? How do I write out the value of what I am searching for with the xpath?
So going back to my original question, if I set xpath = "/devices/device", how do I loop through each "device" node and write them out? That is where it is breaking down for me. I haven't seen any examples in the book or in the downloaded example code that show how to do that.

It depends if you are using a Java HashMap or a BPM Associative array. You'd use the "keySet" if for the former and the "keys" if it's the latter.
I know you want an object for the array, but Any[String] is used here just so you can see something coming back in the display statements shown below. Remove the input and display statements - they're just in there so you can see something working.
Here's how to go through a Hashmap's array using a loop:
map as Java.Util.HashMap
map.put(1, "One")
map.put(2, "Two")
map.put(3, "Three")
map.put(4, "Four")
map.put(5, "Five")
display map.keySet
for each item in keySet(map) do
     display item
     display get(map, arg1 : item)
endHere's how to go through an associative array using a loop:

How to loop through classic report rows?

Hi,
I have a page that has a classic report region. Can I somehow loop through the rows in the report result?
If I put a checkbox item in the query then using this works fine, but I would not like to add checkbox I just would like to loop through the records.
FOR I in 1..APEX_APPLICATION.G_F02.COUNT LOOP
Do something with record having checkbox item value APEX_APPLICATION.G_F02(i);
END LOOP;

What I would like to do is to let the user click a report row, then navigate to a detail form page and display detailed information of the given report row. And should the suer decide to have a look at all the records, then let him/her click a next button on the detail form and display the next row in the report result on the detail form.
Thanks for the tip. if there is no other way, I will probably do this way.

Custom pll to disable form messages while looping through block records

I need to loop through block records in CUSTOM pll to check for if one check box is checked or not. But in that process the messages written at the forn level are popping up which are of no use to the user. I want to disable the messages for my looping. I would enable it after the processing in CUSTOM PLL
