I was wondering if anyone could help me on this problem: I need to set up a break column on a classic report (I ma required to use classic report only), and it works, but I do not know how to make every break column on the top of the rows in the same subgroup. You need have transport request for ABAP program.
Transport Request are two types :
1.customizing
2 work bench
customizing - it is related to SPRO Transaction and Functional people will create Customizing request
Work Bench Request - normally irt realeted to ABAP Develper. and all about SE38 Programs ,Data dictinary and so on..
If you want to to release transport request ,then you need to use SE10 or SE09 Transaction.
Goto SE10 and see ur transport request -.it will have sub request #
Select Sub request #->overall check -Syntax check
then Activate check
then click on release dirctly button(Looks like Bus)
activate
now select main request and click on release directly button.
check the status - by using transport logs at SE10 transaction,you need to have sy-subrc eq 0
when you get sy-subrc eq 4 then you deleted something in ur program ,sy-subrc eq 8,sy-subrc eq 12 these all status of ur transport request.
once you done then you need import to Tst Box,use STMS Transaction.

Create a page layout document
In page layout documents, every page is a blank canvas to which you can add text, images, shapes and other objects, and arrange them however you want. Some Pages templates are designed specifically for creating page layout documents.
If you're using a word-processing template, you can convert it to a page layout document at any time, to have more flexibility in how you design each page. For example, to add text to a page layout document, you add text boxes and type your content in them. You can then layer text boxes with objects, which isn't possible in word-processing documents.
Important: When you convert a word-processing document to a page layout document, any existing body text (text that's not in a text box) is deleted. If you want to save the body text, copy it before you convert the document, then paste it into a text box or another Pages document. Also, when you convert, all objects that are set to move inline with text (in the Arrange pane of the Format inspector) are deleted. All other objects are set to stay on the page and not move with text.
Convert a word processing document to a page layout document
You can covert a document at any time, but it's easiest to do it when you first open the word processing document template (for example, the Blank templates).
Do one of the following:
Choose File > Convert to Page Layout (from the File menu at the top of your computer screen).
Click Setup inspector , click Document, then deselect the Document Body tickbox.
To convert from a page layout document to a word processing document, choose File > Convert to Word Processing (from the File menu at the top of your computer screen).

How to make GB respond to a program change

I'm using m-audio keystation 49e and I can get all the different instruments but I can't get Garagebend to recognize the instrument I'm playing, the musical typing function and the playback play it as #0 acoustic piano. I was messing around with it and may have accidentally pressed a button to make it work because I've got one track with timpanis that is working fine.

I'm not sure I understand what you're asking - but GarageBand doesn't know about program changes. It's one track, one instrument. And it doesn't know what instrument you want it to play unless you select one.

How to make iPhoto the default photo program

I belong to a photo sharing site where I upload photos. When I click "browse" at the site, iPhoto automatically opens and I can select and upload my photo. A friend with a new Mac does the same thing - clicks "browse," but iPhoto doesn't open. I think she needs to somehow make iPhoto her default, but I can't figure out how to do that.

There are many, many ways to access your files in iPhoto: You can use any Open / Attach / Browse dialogue. On the left there's a Media heading, your pics can be accessed there. Command-Click for selecting multiple pics.
(Note the above illustration is not a Finder Window. It's the dialogue you get when you go File -> Open)
You can access the Library from the New Message Window in Mail:

Does the Autosave works in Excel , if not how to make it work in my program

I am trying to autosave my excel file , my program is dumping data every minute and I am going to run my program for about 8 hours. I wanted a method where my file would be autosave. I can do this in Excel by selecting autosave. Has anyone used it before and how good is it or should I try to save it in my program. I am using LV 6.0 and using ActiveX method for Excel. Thank you.

You may find it easier to programmatically call the Save method on your workbook to replicate the Autosave feature in Excel.
The problems that you are experiencing may be down to the fact that the Autosave feature is an Excel Add In module and as such needs to be treated in a slightly different manner. In order to get access to the Add In, you need to manual load/install the necessary Add In when you open the ActiveX reference to Excel.
In Excel 97, the tree is as follows:
Application >> AddIns (Object & Collection) >> AddIn (Object)
From here you can Add a new AddIn but must set its Installed property to True in order for it to be "fully installed". The (VBA) help file included with your release of Excel will provide further assistance in navi
gating through to the appropriate methods and properties and more specific information regarding the loading and proper installation of Add Ins.
Personally, however, experience has shown that it is far simpler to just manually save the workbook using the SaveAs/Save methods as and when required.

How to make Mail break lines at X characters?

Hi!
Is there a way to have Mail automatically create linebreaks at a certain character length when composing an e-mail? It's a common request on many mailing lists to not send e-mails with longer lines than 80 characters.

A coworker has the same issue. When he sends to another colleague that uses the command line mail app in Linux, the Linux user only sees one long line for each paragraph.
To (sort of) fix this in Snow Leopard, we created an Automator service that takes highlighted text, runs the Unix command line "fmt" command, and replaces the text with the wrapped text.
To do the same, start Automator and select the Service template. The first line has:
Service receives selected "text" in "any application"
Leave the first item as "text" and either leave "any application" or change it to "Mail.app".
Make sure Replaces selected text is highlighted.
Next, click on the Utilities icon under Actions. Drag the "Run Shell Script" icon to the right pane. Replace "cat" with "fmt -s -70" to wrap lines at 70 characters and collapse whitespace (multiple spaces, tabs) into a single space. If you do not want to collapse the spaces, leave out the "-s". Use Save as to name the new service.
Open System Preferences, select Keyboard and then Keyboard Shortcuts. Click on Services. Scroll down and find your new service. Click on the + at the bottom of the window. Select Application and choose Mail or all applications. Give it a name (I reused the same name as the service) and a shortcut.
To use it, highlight the text and press the keyboard shortcut. The text should reappear wrapped at 70 characters. If you edit some more and the lines no longer wrap correctly, just run it again.

I don't seem to be able to push Aperture to one side. Nor will lightroom come up for selection when changing the screen display.

When going to Personal Preferences > Personal>Desktop/Screensaver> I get

How to make a page break in numbers

The only way I found to make a new page in Numbers was to make new rows down to where the page would break, but it's only letting me add a few new rows to the new page. I'd like to know how to make a page break without just adding rows.

Still I'm not convinced, it gives you indeed some advantages but this page break is a great fault.
All the company is working on Apple, we try even to keep Microsoft away but what when you make a quote of several pages and have to make your lay out at the end, it is a pain in your xxx to make it well.
We cannot make different tables for each page nor I want to make it in Pages with a Numbers table.
Secondly, what do you do when you get a Excell offer that you want to bring to Numbers.
It opens well but again, you need to make all the page lay out afterwards!

It won't change my mind about Apple and Microsoft but for timing earning I won't changes all Excel offers to Numbers anymore. Even if I do not want, it would take me less time to work it out in Excel.

How to make use of values in calling program in a badi

I have a badi implementation. i need to make use of some values in the program in the BADI. how do i access values in the program in the BADI.

You can try this:
E.g (replace the table and program names with the one you need).:
CONSTANTS: c_resbd(15) TYPE c VALUE '(SAPLCOIH)resbd'.
FIELD-SYMBOLS: <fs_resbd> TYPE resbd.
ASSIGN (c_resbd) TO <fs_resbd>.
If this doesn't work try exporting the variables you need to memory from a field/user exit.

How to make a Java program that recognises a function of two variables to assign values to that?
First I will give an example and then do the question.
Ex1.
We have any function, eg.y = x ^ 2 + 1 (read 'y' equals 'x' high to the square), a function of the second degree.
To build the graph of this function attach values to 'x' to find the values of 'y'
And thus mount the pair ordered (x, y) which represents a point on the Cartesian plane.
Assigning values to 'x' 'we can build up a table that gives us the pairs ordered:
We can use any numbers, but arfer interval [-3.3]

-3 | Y = (-3) ^ 2 +1 = 10
-2 | Y = (-2) ^ 2 +1 = 5
-1 | Y = (-1) ^ 2 +1 = 2
0 | y = (0) ^ 2 +1 = 1
1 | y = (1) ^ 2 +1 = 2
2 | y = (2) ^ 2 +1 = 5
3 | y = (3) ^ 2 +1 = 10
We then ordered the pairs:
(-3.10), (-2.5); (-1.2), (0,1), (1,2), (2,5), (3,10)
Tabem that can be represented by a table:

We see that the program receives above a value for 'x' and replaces the function contained in the program, y = x + 1, and so is the value of the variable 'y'.

The entry is a number and that number is assigned aa ja existing function in the (y = x + 1).
The question is: would it be possible to come to a function?
Ex: the program ask: DIGITE THE FUNCTION?
The USUARIO DIGITARIA A FUNCTION ANY, TYPE: y = x ^ 2 +1
The program would recognize the function and give numerical values to that function as Ex1, at the beginning of this text.
And then to find the values of the x and y launch a table.
It would be possible that?
By invez of entering with a number so that the program sustitua a function ja existing as Ex2, seen above, entering with a function quaquer (type: y = x ^ 2 +1) for the program atribuisse values to that function and then create a table of values as Ex1.
I hope it has been easier to understand my doubts now.

How to create a program that recognizes that the entry coefficients?Are you asking about how to parse out the coefficients from the string "3x^4 + 4x^3 - 8x^2 + 5x^1 + 2x^0"? If you define the format to strictly follow that example, this should get you started:
Strip out the spaces
Split the String on "x^"
That should give you [3, 4+4, 3-8, 2+5, 1+2, 0]
Split each resulting String on "+ | -", preserving the operator as a token so you can apply the correct sign to the coeff.
That should leave you with [3, 4, +, 4, 3, -, 8, 2, +, 5, 1, +, 2, 0]. Every other number is a coeff, the rest are the degrees.
You can strip out the +, since those coeffs are already positive, and strip out the - after negating the following number. This is all assuming that you have to write this yourself. There is no doubt already a library or 5 out there that does this for you.
