How to make a column editable

Hi all,
I want a column to have checkboxes in my table where user can select at runtime.
I added one colum to my table with Checkboxes.But the checkboxes are comming in non Editable mode.
How to make them editable???
My context structure is already binded to my table..now i added one ValueNode with One attribute and i binded that texts property of checkbox to the Valueattribute
The cardinality of my ValueNode is 1..1 and selection is 0..1

Hi,
when you added the checkbox as cell editor, then go to it's property:
set "enable" as true.
set "readonly" as false.
and create a boolean attribute "checked" in the table bode and bind it to the check box value property.
And in the onAction of checkbox wirte the code to select or deselect the checkbox.
and set the value as follows:
wdcontext.nodeTable().getcurrentElement().setAttribuiteValue("checked", true);

How to make few columns of single record inactive in Table conrol?

Hi all,
Scenario is like this : i have one table control , it is displaying 10 records , in that first four columns are editable. Now my requirement is, whenever record having intial values( suppose one record having initial values among ten) except key field , we need to deactive that particular record , now table control should contain ten records , but nine records are in editable state and one record in non editable state .
How to make few columns of single record inactive in Table conrol?

hi there...
select the column that u want to convert to non editable mode in the screen layout. then double click on it. go to the attributes tab and uncheck the input chk box. the check box will become disabled for input. u can do this for any number of columns.
if u want to do it dyanamically, loop at screen. check for the screen element's name. when itmatches the column u want to disable, simply set the input value as 0.
dont forget to modify sscreen after setting the attribute values.

How to make an checkbox editable and uneditable within a single alv output depending on condition.
I have used Reuse_alv_grid_display.
In my output every checkbox is editable. i have used edit = 'X'.
I want editable checkbox for correct value and uneditable checkbox for incorrect value in a single alv

Use alv styles to achieve this, set the style for each record before displaying the ALV. Structure LVC_S_STYL.
Take a look at the example BCALV_EDIT_02, it is OOPS based, but check how the style table is filled.

* loop over table - in each loop another column can be modified

* define visible columns (fields) by naming them,

JDeveloper 10.1.3 does not have a popup but a dialog framework that opens a dialog in a separate browse window. As Chris pointed out, the developer guide contains a section about how to launch the dialog. To programmatically launch the dialog from a command link use its action listener property

How to make Date fields Editable or Non-Editable based on Call Staus

We are using CRM2007 Web GUI for Service call creation. We are using date profile to populate the dates. Here my requirement is if call status is 'Call created' then some set of date fields to be appeared in display mode(Non Editable) and some set of date fields to be appeared in change mode(Editable). How to make a column field editable through OADP customization

HI Every body,
I am facing a issue during oadp customization.As part of our requirement , i have added a column to the compensation planning in mss through OADP and the column is displaying fine,but the issue is that,the fields are not editable.So can anyone let me know ,how can i make the field editable through OADP customization.Is it really possible to do through OADP or not?

let me explain takinh ECM as an example
The backend part of the OADP provides a possibility to define data
columns without assigning a function module for data extraction to it.
The content of these columns as well as the column properties have to be
defined in the application coding(WebDynpro frontend application) which
is the reason why these columns are called #Application Columns#. The
advantage of application columns is two-fold: Firstly, their content can
be calculated dynamically during runtime in dependence of both, the
content of other columns and application data. Secondly, it#s even
possible to have data columns ready for input. These columns are build
in the frontend webDynpro application, therefore for your custom column
group, kindly assign the standard for these three columns.

How to Make a Checkbox editable in a JTable?

I have a CustomModel inheriting from the AbstractTable Model. I make the isCellEditable( ) function in the CustomModel return true for all the columns(pl. see code snippet). One of the columns returns a Boolean value (checkbox in the table) and the rest of the columns return Strings (JLabels in the table). I can edit the all the columns which return text (JLabels), but cant seem to edit the column containing the Boolean Value (checkbox). How can I make the checkbox editable?
Help is greatly appreciated...
here is a piece of the sample code:

Try this:
i) extend DefaultTableModel instead of AbstractTableModel
ii) public Class getColumnClass(int c) {
if (this.getValueAt(0,c) == null)
return super.getColumnClass(c);
else
//convert booleans to checkboxes in the table
return super.getValueAt(0, c).getClass();

How to make a column a key using CALL METHOD cl_salv_table= factory

i have gotten everything right but cannot make a column of my internal table a key column
done this so far for columns:
DATA: alv_columns_list    TYPE REF TO       cl_salv_columns_list.
DATA: alv_column     TYPE REF TO cl_salv_column.
alv_columns_list = alv_table->get_columns( ).
alv_columns_list->set_optimize( 'X' ).
alv_columns_list->SET_KEY_FIXATION( 'X' ).

    alv_column = alv_columns_list->get_column( 'BNAME' ).
    catch cx_salv_NOT_FOUND.
      message e000(zz) with 'Element not found'.

alv_column->SET_SHORT_TEXT( 'User' ).
alv_column->SET_MEDIUM_TEXT( 'User' ).
alv_column->SET_LONG_TEXT( 'User' )
found class cl_salv_column_list with method set_key
but how do i get to it. if it is even the right one

Yes CL_SALV_COLUMN_LIST is the right one to use.
After the following code:
alv_column = alv_columns_list->get_column( 'BNAME' ).
Add the following:
alv_column_list ?= alv_column.
alv_column_list->set_key( ).
Don't forget to add the data definition for alv_column_list.

Eg: i have total 5 fields in my internal table itab_zqmeinz. in that 3 fields are editable as below.
