Dear Forum,
i am user of jDeveloper jClient/Swing .jpr.
cutomer table having following attributes-
1.cust_id (primary key)
2.cust_name
3.cust_add
Suppose customerview bind with jTable1.
Using ViewObjectEditor, i set "updateable never" for all fields.
This show error, when data insert into table " cust_id as
read only".
Help me, Using jClient Binding how to make Table as "editable false".

Overriding method prepareEditor() for new table:

Hi,
Try this code in the PBO inside the module in the LOOP...ENDLOOP.
   IF SY-TCODE EQ 'ZEMPLDISPLAY'.
    LOOP AT SCREEN.
     if screen-name eq 'column1' or screen-name eq 'column2'. "Give the names of the columns in the table control
      SCREEN-INPUT = '0'.
      MODIFY SCREEN.
    endif.
    ENDLOOP.

Or you can go the Layout of the table control in Change mode and for every column's attributes, make it 'Output' only field. Check 'Output only' field.

Use alv styles to achieve this, set the style for each record before displaying the ALV. Structure LVC_S_STYL.
Take a look at the example BCALV_EDIT_02, it is OOPS based, but check how the style table is filled.

I figured out where I missed your point. When you wrote
table as Property Browser of ActiveX, that include rows with differnt types such as drop list, color, ...
I was thinking mixed data-types in a [2d] table!
Looking at the property browser again it looks like no single LV function can do all of that. It can be developed as a pop-up (like the browser is set-up) and then code all of the elegance using an event structure to control the background color of a string indicator while controling the visability of rings that are only made visable when a mouse down is detected. That will get you pretty close.
So no, my previous response ws not correct for what you are trying to do if you want to duplicate all of the wistles and bells of the property browser pop-up window.
Please forgive my distraction.

In The se11 menu Utilities-->table maintenance generator-->if u already created table maintenance generator then in the tab DIALOG DATA TRANSFER DETAILS check the radio button STANDARD RECORDING ROUTINE.
Then when ever u save the data in the table it will pop up a screen to create a Transport request.

Im not expert in Oracle Database especially in querying of data's
My problem is about to be honest i have no idea how to make table format.
We have a problem in our production instance we raised it in Oracle Support but one of the technical support there is asking about this

From your post, it seems that you need to upload the results of the query to Oracle Support.
You can spool the output to a file and upload it.
Something like...
SQL>spool output.txt
SQL>set lines 200
SQL>set pages 200
--execute the queries
SQL>spool off
I don't know about SQL Developer but tools such as PL/SQL Developer and Toad will allow you to export the query results directly to MS Excel.

Any one has tried to make field si editable by using CL_SALV_TABLE class.
*I know how to do it in REUSEALV function module and CL_GUI_ALV class.*_

We are using CRM2007 Web GUI for Service call creation. We are using date profile to populate the dates. Here my requirement is if call status is 'Call created' then some set of date fields to be appeared in display mode(Non Editable) and some set of date fields to be appeared in change mode(Editable). How to achieve this. Kindly suggest me.

How to make a row editable in a click to edit table programatically?

I have a table in my page in which I can do inline addition as well as select and add addition (which will programatically add multiple rows). And my table is click to edit (there are few editable columns in the table).
So, suppose if I add a row say R1 by inline addition, then this row is coming as highlighted as well as selected (i.e editable). But now suppose I add another row R2 through Select and Add (which will open a popup table from where I can select multiple rows, and clicking on OK, I will add those rows programatically in the table VO), it is coming as highlighted but it is not coming as selected i.e now R1 is selected and editable but R2 is highlighted. (I have done setCurrentRow programatically but that is only making the row highlighted and not editable. Is there any way to make the row editable also programatically?

I want a column to have checkboxes in my table where user can select at runtime.
I added one colum to my table with Checkboxes.But the checkboxes are comming in non Editable mode.
How to make them editable???
My context structure is already binded to my table..now i added one ValueNode with One attribute and i binded that texts property of checkbox to the Valueattribute
The cardinality of my ValueNode is 1..1 and selection is 0..1

Hi,
when you added the checkbox as cell editor, then go to it's property:
set "enable" as true.
set "readonly" as false.
and create a boolean attribute "checked" in the table bode and bind it to the check box value property.
And in the onAction of checkbox wirte the code to select or deselect the checkbox.
and set the value as follows:
wdcontext.nodeTable().getcurrentElement().setAttribuiteValue("checked", true);

Can you make table width editable in a template

I am new to html and am trying to use a template to create a
site that will eventually have 10-12 pages. All of the pages will
have the same basic design, but some need 1 main body section and
some need 2 (1 main and 1 smaller off to the side). After doing 4
pages, I realized I could use a template so I wouldn't have to
re-enter all the links in the nav bar, etc., but if I do a page
with just one main section, I would like that section to be wider.
The template will not allow me to adjust the table. Is there a way
to make the table width editable/adjustable? Thanks for any help
you can give me... I'm sure to have many more questions once this
gets solved!

- Why is it that for some modules, the tables are not visible at all, but

How to Make a Checkbox editable in a JTable?

I have a CustomModel inheriting from the AbstractTable Model. I make the isCellEditable( ) function in the CustomModel return true for all the columns(pl. see code snippet). One of the columns returns a Boolean value (checkbox in the table) and the rest of the columns return Strings (JLabels in the table). I can edit the all the columns which return text (JLabels), but cant seem to edit the column containing the Boolean Value (checkbox). How can I make the checkbox editable?
Help is greatly appreciated...

I would like to combine two tables to an editable view:
Person:
- id: varchar(50)
- fname: varchar(50)
- lname: varchar(50)
FirstAider:
- id: varchar(50)
- firstaider: bit
There is a 1:1 relationship between Person and FirstAider using the attribute "id".
There are now rows in the FirstAider table yet...
If I combine these two tables into a view, the view is not editable!
How can I make the view editable?

Please don't use edit screen for modifying data.
Use SSMS query editor and write t-sql query.
Please note that the FirstAider table is empty. I would like that a corresponding row is created automatically
when I set the firstaider value...
How are you setting the firstaider value? Through the screen?
If yes just pass id corresponding to the name and do an insert.
INSERT FirstAider (id,firstaider)
SELECT id,1
FROM Table
WHERE fname = @Fname
AND lname = @Lname
