How to make a FLVplayback stop loading an FLV

Hi guys,
I am a newbie in As3, so please if you know the answer to my problem, explain it to me with a lot of details (how to write, where, what are the var to change...). I have a flash file, coded in AS3, that needs to have 4 FLVplayback movie in it. So right now, they way I did it, I have a mc on the stage with all my buttons (4) that are connected to a mc with all my vids (4 flvs). The vids in the mc are on the frame 1 - 5- 10 - 15. So when I click on the button 2 it plays frame 5 of the vids_mc. My problem is that when someone click on a button and the first movie didn't have time to finish loading, it will keep loading while the new one is loading too. At the end if someone clicks the 4 buttons, they will have 4 movies loading and after that playing at the same time. So what can I do to stop the other flvs from loading and playing every time I click to play a specific flv. Here's what I have now, it stops the sound and the movie if it's already playing, but don't stop the loading and will start to play when it's loaded even if I am watching a new movie;

Try a reset. Hold the Sleep and Home button down for about 10 seconds until you see the Apple logo. Ignore the red slider.

Hi, I've tried a reset all, and restored from another backup(iCloud) and it stopped asking my friend's Apple ID(its been two days i've restored, and my didn't complain yet).
next, i've already tried all the steps you said.
my dad uses his gmail account for apple devices(same id for his iPad too), and i already checked "My Phone" number is set to my dad's phone number.
i asked my dad to turn off iMessage and Facetime, removed the sim, reset network settings and when he inserted the sim back, it shows his number, when he turns on the iMessage and logs in using his email, it shows my phone number..!
i went to view account, and it redirected to appleid.apple.com and i can see his phone number in the account.
checked the location, set to India, time zone and everything looks fine.
But the Apple ID is remembering my number instead of registering his number..!
BTW, can you elaborate your reply for my 3rd Question.
I've created a contact record with his name, phone number(with country code) and email addresses.
Now what is the next step..?

I'm planning to remove sim in my phone, restore it to new device, setup the required softwares etc, take an iCloud back-up and ask him to restore from that backup. Since, the Apple ID doesn't know any phone number, when he inserts sim and turns on iMessage it should register the new number..!

How to make a video stop in flash through an external button

Hi everyone!
I have a little problem: I made a flash site with its
different sections, the first of which has a movie clip which is a
"VideoPlaylist". So inside this movie clip I have the player and
the videos sequenced one after the other in a TileList component.
The problem is:
When I go to a different page, the video in the first page
continues to play and so you can still hear the sound, AND WHICH IS
WORSE, when you click the button to return to the first page, the
video starts again with the sound of the previous time still
rolling.
The solution would be, I suppose, when clicking to any of the
buttons that link to another section of the flash document, add
some action script to make the video stop (having in mind that the
video player is inside a movie clip).
I don't know action script, just the navigation basics
necessary for the sections. I did the videoplaylist following this

please take in consideration, that JSP page is translated to HttpServlet component when deployed. It's not accessed via original JSP file.
You can try to modify the final HttpServlet class file, but then you have to go through pre-compiling.

How do I make an effect start stop and than start again?
I'm trying to blur faces (I finally figured out how to do that---copy the video to a 2nd layer and use the mosiac and crop effects) but how do I make the effect only appear when the face is in the screen as multiple times throughout the video clip the subjects face goes off camera. In the effect controls window it doesn't give me an option to add a blank keyframe.
Any advice on how to have this effect start/stop multiple times in one clip??

If the effect isn't keyable, try keyframing the transparency of the copy with the effects on it.

OK if I understand whats going on.
You have to restore your ipad.
If you backed it up prior to this problem you may not loose everything.
I can tell you how to restore it.
Hold the on/off button and the home button at the same time until the device turns off.
Once the device has turned off without letting go of the home button release the power button and keep holding until the connect to itunes logo appears.
It should be rather obvious now that you have to connect your iPad to the computer.
iTunes on your computer should open automatically if it doesn't open it.
on the side bar of iTunes your ipad should appear.
Click on it.
Then in the centre of the window there should be a restore and/or restore and update button.
Click restore.
the rest of the instructions should appear on the screen.
Assuming the restore was successful.
Leave the iPad plugged in and If you backed up the iPad before it stopped working then you should see a restore from back up there if not you may have to start from scratch.

Revision: How to make tab control stop on a specific page upon pressing Pause?

I have a scrolling tab which scrolls through the tab pages until the user presses Pause. That works. Now I want the tab control to stop on a specific page once the user presses Pause. How to do this?

Well, hopefully I can give a simpler explanation of my project. There is a tab control (right now of 3 pages). I have written code which flips (scrolls) through the pages, one page per second approx. There is also a Pause button. When the user presses it, the scrolling of pages stops and whatever page is shown at the time of Pausing is the page that is viewable. So that could be page 1, 2, or 3 given when the Pause button was pressed.
But now, I would like to implement the feature that when the Pause button is pressed the tab control, through coding, has no choice but to show Page 1 (for example) or whichever page I restrict it to.
Actually I think I've got a idea now after typing this out, but your suggestions are very welcome!
I've attached screenshots of my code to this reply. The first two show Case States in my code (scrolling, not scrolling) and the 3rd isof the Front Panel and the tab panel itself.

How to fix Firefox when stops loading content

Firefox has become virtually unusable for me. After a little bit of use, the program just refuses to load new content. I don't know what the issue is that's causing it but I've done everything I can to try to fix it:
"Reset" Firefox in the Help area
Set up a new profile
Tried Firefox in Safe Mode
Removed all of my add-ons
Complete uninstall/reinstall
Run Malware Bytes, Microsoft Security Essentials, and Spybot scans which returned clean
Disabled hardware acceleration
Updated all my plug-ins except Java whose website was down and wouldn't allow me to download the new version
Tried to dump the cache by reloading using "CTL+F5"
Manually added Firefox to Windows Firewall
There may have been more that I've tried, but nothing is working. After a little bit of use (it's random, I haven't found a specific amount of time, tabs, websites, content, etc...), the program just refused to load new content. If I go to Facebook, it may upload a new update, but no additional images or media will load. If I open a new tab and try to launch a website, I just get the spinning circle.
At some point, it will let some parts of a website load, but I have to let it sit a long time until it finally loads, even then, the site loads with all kinds of errors (no images, formatting is messed up, etc...).
I have had issues with Firefox in the past and I just went to Chrome. I think the issue lies in the FF24 update because it had been working fine previously. I don't know what else to do... Any suggestions?

The Reset Firefox feature can fix many issues by restoring Firefox to its factory default state while saving your essential information.
Note: This will cause you to lose any Extensions, Open websites, and some Preferences.
To Reset Firefox do the following:
Go to Firefox > Help > Troubleshooting Information.
Click the "Reset Firefox" button.
Firefox will close and reset. After Firefox is done, it will show a window with the information that is imported. Click Finish.
Firefox will open with all factory defaults applied.

I have certain fixed steps to be executed for many test sequences at part of Setup and Cleanup group. I have created sequences for each group(init.seq and Release.seq) and called them in another sequence (Template.seq)
If Template.seq opens when I press Ctrl+N, reoccuring activity time can be saved.
I have tried adding Template.seq in Template Tab but that too requires deleting MainSequence(which gets create when Ctrl+N is pressed) and then adding this Template.seq from template tab.

Is there is way to meet this requirement?

there is no way i know of to change the New Sequence File menu bar option to spawn a custom template sequence file instead of an empty one.
What you can do is to provide a tool you add to the TestStand tools menu.

How to make proper page to load

I set this site up 9 years ago in a framset - one for the nav bar and one for the page to be viewed. Used to be that all the browsers would load the home page when you eintered the site URL (www.madmoose.com), but when you clicked on a specific search engine result or if you typed in a specific page (Ex. "www.madmoose.com/apparel.html"), it would take you directly to that page. Now, using the new browsers it ALWAYS loads the home page.
What would be the simplest way to re configure the site to not always force in the home page?

Just wondering how to make the brushes i load stay?? i can load new brushes and use them fine but if the computer is shut down or photoshop is closed they arent there when i re start it and i have to load re load them????????

Photoshop writes the preferences file upon exit. If you shut down your computer without properly quitting photoshop there's a chance the preferences will not be properly saved and you will be back to defaults. Always close photoshop, then shut down your computer.
