How to make decision while invoking SOA workflows

Hi,
I have a created a SOA composite. This SOA Composite contains 4 level of approval.
Now I want that the decision to execute the SOA composite approval process should be defined in some other file from where I can read the information and execute those level of approval.
For Eg. I want to check if the user org is A then get the value of approval levels from the flat file and then execute only those approval levels in Composite.
Please let me know if this is feasible and how to achieve this.

Yes, I retrieve data from database. Retrieving invocation is placed in getValue method of model. When there is no value in cache then I request data from server and wait for response. Else I get data from cache immediatly and everything is fine.
And you were partially right. In cases where I use manual repaint there was call from EDT. I replaced it by new Thread(...) and it helped. But repaint can be done automatically by Swing when user for example scrolls JTable and in this case I have to wait in EDT while get something to display. In this situation it would be great if independent repaint for JProgressBar can occurr. :(

The user has created a shopping cart with 1000 USD. The process schema has three process level with the first level being approval with completion.
The first level being executed by the responsible purchaser. Here, the purchaser adds the source of supply and changes the price of the shopping cart 2000 USD and approve the shopping cart.
Now, I want the approval task to start from beginning so that the requestor can know the changes and accept/reject the changes.

Restarting workflow goes to 1st level approval step. It is not requester.
I think you need to set condition for "Acceptance by Contact Person" in Define Process Level.

Process Chain - How to make decision based on data in PSA and execute DTP

Need to create process in Process Chain, which will execute the DTP based on data in PSA.
Say we have two DSO A & B, both getting data from same datasource.
In process chain, we need to read data in one of the date field in PSA and make a decision, which DTP to get execute in process chain.
Say if date field contains year = 2000, than load to DSO A, if year is 2001, load data to DSO B.
Suggest the solution. ...

1) Develop ABAP process types
ABAP report to read PSA data using function module
Trigger events based on year
event1 -> for even year data
event2 -> for add year data
2) Develop local process chains for each DTPs and schdule it with events mentioned above.

I am using WL5.1 SP11 on a project. I have a stateless session bean inside which
I will invoke a method defined in another stateless session bean in a remote weblogic
server 5.1. The performance of the remote server is very low and sometimes when
I invoke the method through RMI, I got to wait for a long time. So I want to set
a timeout for my session bean while doing RMI call. The only parameter I could
find in weblogic-ejb-jar.xml is the "transaction-timeout", but even if I set transaction
attribute for my session bean, it always block there to wait for the response
from the remote session bean. The configuation did not work.
Is there any other solutions to my problem? Please give me some advice if anyone
has experience on it, Thank you very much.

When I received a "workflow msg" in my outlook inbox, I clicked on the attached shortcut.
And a logon pop-up comes to me, in order that I logon to SAP in the SAPGui mode.
It enables me to make a decision in SAP.
I'd like that when the user receive the shortcut ( or a link ), it opens the webgui mode ?
How can I do that ?

The above code executes well with no problem at all!
As you can see the file to which i create and save and open my pdf report is
AssignedDialyzer.pdf.
The column headers of table in pdf report from c# windows forms using iTextSharp are
"Reprocessing Date","Patient Name","Dialyzer(Manufacturer,Size)","No.of Reuse","Verification" and
"DialyzerID".
However the problem i am facing is after execution and opening of document is my
column headers in table in pdf report from
c# and datas in it all appear in bold.
I have browsed through net regarding to solve this problem but with no success.
What i want is my pdf report from c# should be similar to following format which i was able to accomplish in vb6,adodb with MS access using iTextSharp.:

How to limit the response rows while invoking a stored procedure from OSB 10gR3

Dear Experts,
I am trying to limit the response while invoking a stored procedure from OSB via DB adapter.
Here the stored procedure returns cursors as response. I tried using the MaxTransactionSize propertiy (which is used for polling the database option in DB adapter).
We are investigating the ways to protect the application from response containing huge number of rows.
Is there any way to restrict the number of rows returned in each and every cursor while invoking the stored procedure via DB adapter?

I am new to stored prcoedure,will be great if you could share some example on it as above.
Req: Single input xml will be posted on queue ,need to perform 3 DB operation (with same input):
1.Insert operation to insert master table contents.
2.select the primary key column value from master table for the last inserted record.
3.Need to insert primary key column value + other fields frm same xml file to child table.
Pls assist me on how to create a simple stored procedure and to run the same with OSB 11g.I am familiar with creation of DB adapter using Jdeveloper,we have option to perform insert and to call stored procedure here,will it be useful for this scenario?

How to specify file name while invoking the GET_ZIP_BUNDLE service

The GET_ZIP_BUNDLE service by default generate zip file with name "Bundle". I wanted to change this name runtime, that is while invoking this service. How can I do it?
The class ziprenditions.ZipRenditionsHandler most probably handle this service by the method createRenditionBundle.
There I saw a line:
downloadName = LocaleResources.getString("csZipRenditionBundleName", this.m_service);I have tried to print the value of csZipRenditionBundleName and I got "Bundle". I am wondering is there any way to set a value to this message key?
I have tried this idoc function:
<$createRenditionBundle='some_name'$>before invoking the service. But this didn't work.
Also I have tried to change it from Java class, and for that I have defined a custom service and did:
LocaleUtils.encodeMessage("csZipRenditionBundleName", null, "JYM");But this also not working.
What I want is to get the zip file with the name which is the same to the files it is archiving.
For more information, here is how I am invoking the GET_ZIP_BUNDLE service:

if you want a fixed bundle name other than "bundle", you can override the localization string entry 'csZipRenditionBundleName' in a component.

Yes, please use template WS200000075, and after the initial task TS2000016,
The outcomes are either Po Release, PO Rejected or PO chnaged significantly,
Use the task TS20000167, it is defaulted so there is no way you cannot see it, it would say "Release of PO Cancelled", you could use this for further action

How to override the expiration time in SOA Workflow OIM?

Hello everyone,
I am working on SOA Workflows to develop the Approval Process in OIM 11g R2 PS1.
I have a requirement as follows:
The request should escalate after 3 days of the request submission to the approver's manager. This configuration i have done in 'Deadlines' , Escalate after and given the duration also.
But this request should not expire after escalation. So, right now its escalating after 3 days but again after 3 days it is getting expired(i.e. on 6th day).
I have to override this expiration with 'Never expire'. How can I achieve that? Any idea?

I left the Time-to-Live Override to the default value -1. The new expiration time kicked in after I set it to the right value.

Queues are only good to transfer data if your application isn't deterministic. Since you are using Real Time, I am assuming that your application requires determinism. If you are using Timed Loops and you use queues to transfer data between your loops, you are losing determinism. In this case, you need to use the RT FIFO functions.

While using mac as wireless router ; How to make Mac sleep?

Hi all.
I set up my macbook to act as a wireless router [sharing it's wireless signal, via the "Sharing" settings in System Preferences]

I am wondering how to make my mac sleep while this wireless-sharing setting is enabled?
Since I have enabled this setting, the mac will not sleep, however, the mac will sleep when I disable it.
I am also wondering ; [if it is possible to make the mac sleep while this setting is enabled], can I still use the mac as a wireless router even while it is asleep?
Or does it need to be awake to function as a router?

Yes, I kind of thought what you are saying would be the case.
It makes "sense" that when the computer is asleep, so are all it's functions,
but I *WISH* there was an option to keep the airport functioning even while the computer is asleep.
Bob, I don't think having the OPTION to leave the airport on while mac sleeps would defeat the power-saving feature of the computer (:
I know the "best" way to share wifi is with a router, but for me, a router just another piece of plastic I don't need. All I need to do is share wifi in a small space [my room] from my mac to my iPad and ipod touch.
I like to use my ipad as a reader, and when I am reading, I may be sitting down for many hours just reading from the ipad. It doesn't make sense to leave the mac running during these long periods just for a wireless signal, so I may sadly buy a router ):

Just check this one dont check previous one....
goto TCODE OBC4 and then click on ur company FELD status variant and double click on field status group ....
Then click on G067 RECONCILTION ACCOUNTS and then double clickn that in that and then click on payment transactions and then select REASON CODE AS REQUIRED.
ur problem will solve...
