How to make entries in TVDIR

Hi,
I want to maintain table J_1ISTATECD. When I try to maintain I get the message "The maintenance dialog is incomplete or not defined.". After debugging I found out that there needs to be an entry for table J_1ISTATECD in either TVDIR or DD25L.
How to maintain the entry in TVDIR or DD25L.
Please help.

Hi,
TVDIR is the view directory.
Well, first you transfer required data from J_1ISTATECD to an internal table ITAB.
Then update TVDIR from this internal table using :
MODIFY TVDIR from TABLE <itab>.

    correct me if i am wrong-
    ur scenario is
    for making material A ,
    3000 MT of material B required.
    but for producing A vendor uses 3500MT of B
    solution : if this ia the case then u can overwrite the value of B at GRN from 3000MT to 3500MT.
    OR
    ur scenario is -
    u require material A of 3000MT
    vendor sends u 3000MT
    but actualy u recieve 2500MT
    and u have to pay for 3000MT as per bill
    solution : if this is ur scenario then.
    prerequisite-activate direct posting to G/L and material at MIRO
    Path - SPRO->MM->LIV->activate direct posting to G/L and material at MIRO.
    now procedure is -
    step 1) do GR for 2500MT
    step2) in LIV pay to vendor for 3000MT for that put 500 qty in material tab and the relavent amount.
    in this way loss in transite will be book on inventory.

    Please note that you must have authorization to do maintainance for this table ; failing which you can only view the table .
    If you are unable to add entries , I can tell you an alternative for doing so , through debugging  .

  • Can't make entries into Roboform Lite 2.1?

    I have loaded and reloaded RFL (and have disabled KeeFox), but I still am not able to make any entries. For example, when clicking on the Identity icon, the tooltip says I should "set an active identity," but there is no dropdown into which information can be entered. Furthermore, when typing into a blank field, I get two, not one as usual, vertical cursor lines that follow the typing. When RFL is disabled, this doubling goes away. To tell you the truth, I'd be happy (I think for the time being) with KeeFox and form filler. I did dl Autofill, but it seems to be rather complicated in its setup.

    Have found out how to make entries into RFL: Download Roboform, make entries, and the RFL will pick up those entries. So now my self-debate is to continue with the combo of Keefox+Autofill which is working well, or go over to RF+RFL?

    This will fix your google toolbar and it works with firefox 7 or 8 or any of them, even if you can't sign in it will still have spell check and all the other stuff.     1. Yes , you have to maintain target business system for the EACH BS in PROD system.
    2. Normally we do have 2 different sld one is explictly for production system. another one is for dev and QA system. Once u done creating all the systems needed for the project. we will copy all business from the dev server to production server. So production server will have all BS from Dev and  BS of production server.
    3. i am not sure about this. i dont have particular docuemnts . normally we assign target business system in transport tab. and in Intergration Directory we will export the business system from DEV and and import the business system in production system.

    I have a table of people with the following fields:
    firstName
    lastName
    DOB
    email
    address
    group
    as you can see, nothing makes an entry unique. so say I would like to get some info about John Smith, I might found more than one entry for John Smith.
    Question: any idea how to make an entry unique? hashing???
    I'm using mySQL.

    You need to assign a primary key to your table ( a field that can't be reproduced). You can add a social security field and make it your primary key.
    Your mysql line might look like this (for a table with 2 fields):
    mysql> CREATE TABLE Info( Name varchar(64),
                                                         SSN varchar(64) primary key);

    Hi,
      you can do that using an ABAP program in teh infopackage. You should write code to trigger an exception and throw a message if the selection is not given.
    If it is possible to give selection by calulating a date like thing you can automate with ABAP code once again and can use it in teh process chain.

    In The se11 menu Utilities-->table maintenance generator-->if u already created table maintenance generator then in the tab DIALOG DATA TRANSFER DETAILS check the radio button STANDARD RECORDING ROUTINE.
    Then when ever u save the data in the table it will pop up a screen to create a Transport request.

      In PBO, within a LOOP, table control is filled via a Structure/Work Area.
      In that module, code as follows,
    LOOP AT SCREEN.
        IF WA-FIELD1 = C_1 AND SCREEN-GROUP1 = C_G1.
          SCREEN-INPUT = 0.
          MODIFY SCREEN.
        ENDIF.
    ENDLOOP.
      Here, WA is a strcture & FIELD1 is its field, like that...
      I already did this.

    Hi,
    If the PO is Account assigned PO then in MIRO you need to select the Layout as Account assigned -Costcentre, the system will change the Layout of the MIRO.
    So on the line item of MIRO you will find the Account assignment arrow mark (just move rightside of the MIRO line item) press this arrow mark,
    then system will take to other screen where you can enter the Manual entery to the Cost centre along with G/L account in MIRO
    hope this solves your problem. To enter the cost manually you need to select the Layout as Account assignment -- Cost centre.

    I am making price tags for a set of commodities. I know how to make pdf forms and want to use this. However, I want to achieve this: If I enter the name of commodity, price and other details once in a cell, it must automatically fill out the whole table with the same info so that I don't need to manually do the copy pasing.
    Word, Excel, etc change the formatting but PDF won't. Thats the reason I want to create a table, and each cell in the table will be a price tag. So, I take a print out of the page and can easily have the commodity tags ready for each commodity.
    Is this possible in Acrobat Professional? Like I said before, I have created pdf forms but this particular automatic duplicating of the entered data is something I dunno how to get. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    God bless you! You've made my work a lot easier! As soon as I changed the name of the fields to be the same, the data automatically duplicates itself!
    Could you kindly guide me as to how I ensure that a particular row, column or all cells in a table have the same field name without actually having to click on each of them and rename the field? Is there some setting or menu to make it an easier/ automatic process after once getting an input from the user?
