How to make every coloum in a table/report searchable in an application???

I used the wirzed to make some applications based on some of my tables in the DB, but I when I typed a specific record in the search textbox, some them I can search, but some of them, they showed" data cannot be found",
I hope every coloum in my table can be searchable, just like I use the select command .
Any idea about this?

How to make every break column on the top of the rows in the same subgroup

hi, guys:
I was wondering if anyone could help me on this problem: I need to set up a break column on a classic report (I ma required to use classic report only), and it works, but I do not know how to make every break column on the top of the rows in the same subgroup. The break column only stays on the left to the rest columns as it is the first column. Anyone could help me on this problem? Here is the query:

I can see one way to do it. You'll need to install a script in each user account, and have it set as a login item for each user. Let's imagine you have three user accounts. Each user in Mac OS X has a UID number. Normally your first user has the UID of 501, the second one will be 502 and so on...
You can determine the UID by running the following AppleScript while logged in on each user:

This'll return a long block of text, but right at the start you'll see the UID number. Let's assume your three users have the UIDs 501, 502 and 503. We begin with 501.
Create the following script and save it as an application while logged in as 501. Note that the password you're entering is the password for UID 502. Also note that the forum system is creating line breaks where there shouldn't be any. The long "do shell script" line should be one line.

Open System Preferences, go to Accounts, click "login items" and drag your script (saved as an application) to the login items window.
You basically repeat this process for each user account, modifying the script so it switches to the next user.
This isn't ideal, because your passwords will be stored in the scripts, and each user could open the scripts and learn the passwords of the other users on that machine.

Just to add a bit more about this question. I have seen in other related questions that this feature (vertical text) is not available in (apparently) the whole iWork09. someone even said that it should be asked to the developers, so they include this feature in iWork10. I find this issue a bit sad. This feature has been present in msOffice since a while, and at least for me, this is quite important for my work. It is also apparently not possible to have different page orientation in the same document, meaning portrait and landscape, so one can have wide tables in a whole page, for example. If this is true, it is again sad, and I just cannot understand why such a basic feature is not available in an already 09 version. I am using only the trial version of iWork, but already in the first day I have discovered that I actually cannot do what I was used to. Again sadly I (and many others I guess) will have to stick to Office until the mac software is fully developed.

Open a folder, CMD+J, set it up as you want it, and click on the Use as Defaults button. That will set it for all unopened folders. For those previously opened and having other settings, you'll have to reapply it to each.

Thanks for your response, but issue is - how to make other screen fields enable when there was an error in the table control data.
For table control - lets say we will use the code as i mentioned above.i am sure that we cant write the code for field enable in between loop & endloop.
as you said if we right outside the loop-endloop, the module wont be triggered when table control throws an error, because that statement was not there in the loop-endloop.
please let me know if you need any more information on the issue. I hope there is alternative for this in SAP.

How to make a copy of a table?

I wonder how to get a copy of a table in apex.
At first I think there must be created a page process. The sql-code would be Create table "TABLE2" as select * from TABLE1. But the page process must be defined as an PL/SQL anonymous block and unfortunately my knowledge of PL/SQL is very small. Could anybody advise me which code for the anonymous block has to be taken for that?

Imagine your accounting department runs a normal bookkeeping. There are some bookings which occur month for month or quarter by quarter. The accountant mourns that he has to give in always the same data and my idea is to tell him that we will take a second table with these repeating bookings and once a month he unions this table with the master table to get the complete ledger. But we cannot use the repeat-table itself because it may differ from month to month. So we have to take a copy table for one month and next month we need a new copy. This means that we have to provide 12 tables for a year with 12 regions what is not so horrible as it sounds as we can use hide&show regions.

if i'm understanding your questions correctly, the easiest way to achieve the functionality you're after is to have your query criteria fields submit the page when values are entered/selected. the page should then branch back to itself using the submitted criteria in the query. because you're asking about dynamically adding in your where clause predicates, you should consider using a report region of type "SQL Query (Pl/sql Function Body Returning SQL Query)". that way you can use pl/sql to piece together your query based on the provided criteria.
so the part of your question i'm not sure of is when your page should submit itself ("without a GO button" as you said). for your first question, it seems to be a simple matter of javascript. you want users to be able to enter search criteria into a field and have that criteria be using in the report. to facilitate that we have a few self-submitting item types such as "SelectList with Submit" and "Text Field (always submits page when Enter pressed)". for your second question, it seems that you should have a Go button for the user to indicate he's done entering in his query criteria. anyhow, that's up to you, i suppose. hopefully this response will give you the concepts you need to implement this as you'd like.

ps-after re-reading your post, i now realize there's a chance that you wanted users to not have to submit the page at all when filtering their result sets. if that's the case, you'd have to use javascript for that cumbersome feat. google would be a good place to go for that code.

I tried that but my problem is that the code is so old. At least what I saw. I don't know how old is too old and I'm trying to do things "right." I saw code from 1998, but I don't know if that's still what you do. It might still work, but that doesn't mean it's correct. There's so much out there on Java that so old that half the time I'm not sure what to do because some other technology in J2EE or the latest Java SDK might have come up with a new way to do things. on delivarys, senario is the one sale order having the multiple delivery, so the
i have to show the total result for all deliverys agianst the purticular sales order
in one row.i know we can do that at the excel level but hot to do it at the query
design level.highly appreciate u r help on this.

my Q's is how to make the group wise total means, i m going to genaret the
report on delivery delays on cube 0SD_C04 (Delivery Service), in that the the date
is comming from the 2LIS_12_VCITM delivery item data, the schedule line data
from 2LIS_12_VCSCL, when i m getting according to date wise it showing all data from item level n schedule line, the senario is i have to use date from item level n
all delivery from schedule line, so any inputs regarding this, plz let me, wil appecite

How to make more cells in one table by DataGridView

Hello,
I have a question, Firstly I'm using VB
How can I make invoice by datagridview I'm trying to type customer information in the Textbox and Inventory Items in datagridview but the problem is datagrid give me one cell and I can type one inventory item only, I want to put a lot of items for
one customer. And I bind the datagridview to access db table.
For more explain , How can I make Invoice and use datagridview for put items into it and save to access database table?
For example " create invoice in Quick books " something like that Every customer have a gridview and it's have item he taken it.

The problem with the datagridview is that it can only show one table.
For more tables 3th party datagrid's are better.
Although you can start with using the old datagrid. Despite what is written on MSDN is it a complete different control then the datagridview. You can add in to your toolbox by right clicking on it and then add it.
The datasource of a DataGrid can be a complete dataset which is showed with all its relations.
