How to make Finder use a copied .DS_Store file?

Hi,
since the Finder still does not allow applying view options to multiple folders I tried, yet again, to do this manually:
Create folder A and populate with stuff
Create folder B and populate with stuff
Verify that both folders use the system default folder view options
Verify that no Finder window shows the contents of A or B
Change the view options on folder A
Copy the .DS_Store file from folder A to folder B including the extended attributes
Kill the Finder
Open a Finder window in folder B and still it shows the system default view options
Folder A is still fine
Steps 6 and 7 were performed and verified in the shell (Terminal) with cp, xattr and kill etc.
Which process do I need to kill in order for the Finder window of folder B to reflect the copied view options?
Or is the inital approach of copying a .DS_Store file already wrong, where else are these options stored?

Hi Guang!
We faced the same problem with webdynpro. The result of our research was to switch to JSP Dynpage Components to have full control of layout and design. There is no known way to include your own css, since the webdynpro controls use the portal display scheme css classes. You probably can overwrite them with own css, using a combination of css and javascript, but it's a process that will cost you plenty.
Using Dynpages instead of webdynpro may not be an option in your case, though, depending on what other features of webdynpro you are using.

I restored the phone so had no apps on it at all and there was still this certain amount of space used up by documents ! I've already had it in to the apple store and they didn't seem to have a clue either ! Ugh ! How can I keep lion from generating .DS_Store files on windows network partitions, but not disable it for all network partitions? I am fimilar with changing the setting for all network partitions(defaults write com.apple.desktopservices DSDontWriteNetworkStores true), but that is undesirable when I connect my laptop to my home network. A preferable solution would be where I could control the writing of these files based on disk format (NTFS vs HFS+).

Go to MacUpdate or CNET Downloads and search for ds_store. There are numerous utilities for preventing them from being transferred to Windows systems.

users somehow. The client wants to use ESB toolkit to do this job.

By default, a playlist will be created in iTunes called "Voice Memos" and those files will be transferred there automatically. The files themselves can be found on your computer in your iTunes Music folder in Unknown Artist > Unknown Album.
It may be worth working through any trouble shooting articles on that site.

1. As per your instruction, I turned off iTM.
Small discrepancy – where are two screens with iTM switch:
-Settings > iTunes & App Store.
-Settings > Music
I switched OFF in both.
NB: I turned device to English for convenience.
2. My next step was Setting > General > Usage – tapped {Music};
{All music} screen appeared; I swiped it and taped Delete.
3. I performed “hard reset” …………………………………..
4. Switched back On iTM
5. Taped Music app on Home screen
iTM has started – (it took 18 minutes to completed, 60 mbps Wi-Fi speed )
Regret to inform… All the same:
Erase and reset to factory default? Or I did smf wrong?

I am using adobe reader 9, I need to create an PDF using MS, and I would not want the text to be copy-able,
checked the security setting, the content copable: Allowed
But I do not know how I can make it Not allowed.
Or just any way to make the content not copy-able.
Because I told my boss just use photoshop and save as PDF,
and he want it to be more simple, he want it to be done straight from MS,
and he want to make the contents non-copyable
