How to make IR use formated values in

Hi all,
I am trying to format some values in my Interactive Report, expecting they will appear as column filter value as well. For instance:
In my sql I have:
, case when ACTIVE_FLAG= 'Y'
then '<span style="color:green;font-weight:bold;">Active</span>'
else '<span style="color:darkred;font-weight:bold;">Inactive </span>'
end Active_flag
The column is set to standard report column in the report definition, otherwise I just see the code above.
When the IR runs and I try filtering by the Active_flag column I see no "Actives" or "Inactives" even though I have both in the sql output. This happens both by pressing the column or by going to Actions->filter / Expression
Is there any way you can imagine to bypass this? It also happens with images in which case it'll be great to see the image as column filter.
Thanks in advance for your help.
regards,
JP

Just for the record, I just noticed the sql code portion I intended to copy/paste was incorrect and is actually
, case when ACTIVE_FLAG= 'Y'
then '<span style="color:green;font-weight:
bold;font-size:10px">Active</span>'
else '<span style="color:red;font-weight:
bold;font-size:10px">Inactive</span>'
end Active_flag However I understand the answer is "no, you cannot see Inactive and Active as values in the column select list"

  • How to make a simple control value comparison a user event?

    Hey everyone,
I am trying (with no luck) to figure out how to make an event out of a simple control comparison without having to put the controls inside a while loop to be polled or in the event structure.
For example; how do I make an event when 'numerical control 1' equals 'numerical control 2'?
I know that I could have these inside a while loop with the event structure and then wire the comparison to a boolean, then reference the boolean's value change event.  But rather, I would like to create an event for the comparison without the boolean and outside the while loop such that the loop doesn't have to run through the comparison each time, and doesn't have to poll the controls and bool.
    Thanks for the help

Attached is a simple user event structure that I was thinking about.  Using this you can decouple the control from the comparison, it just works on valye comparisons.  Since it uses the event structure there is no polling and is very CPU friendly.  I have allowedfor the comparison to be linked to the "Value 1:value change event" and the compare button true event.  I hope this is what you were looking at.  Also since it is a user event which is dynamically registered you can register/unregister it at will durring execution making it a flexable event handler.  It might be alittle buggy because I have spent about 3 minutes developing it (particularry when passing values into the event structure there might be a state issue from the data flow so local variables are a better choice)

  • How to update and use the values of variables of another class

I can we update or use the values of the variables of another class. For example, if we have class A

Now what I want is ,when I call those string variables(s0 & s1 of A.class) in any another jsp likeMainUser.jsp it should give me the value of hi and hello respectively not null as it is giving right now. Could you refine the coding for this one?

  • How to make and use customised DataSource

Hi Gurus. If we are not making cubes for Inventory etc for which DS is already available, how can we create data sources in order to load the desired data in BW.means if Database fields are entirely different

    Hi,
Customised extractors are called Generic extracters.
    Usage:
    1. When the standard extractors are not supporting the extraction what you need. If SAP does not have a standard extractor for your need to get data from R3, you would have to go for generic extractor.
    2. If you create a custom object say by combining certain base tables in R3 say custom tables ZTAB1 and ZTAB2. These two tables are not SAP provided tables and there will not be any standard extractors. So cases like this you will have to go for generic extractors.
    3. FI-SL requires generic extractors.
    How:
You have to use RSO2 transaction and you can also set delta based on, one of the three characteristics such as timestamp, calday or pointer (a sequence no).
once you create it and activate it. The extractor will be available in ROOSOURCE - (table in R3 where all the data sources are available).
    Steps
    Log on sap R/3.
Step 1. create a table or view for generic extraction in se11.
    Step 2. Goto  t-code RSO2
Step 3. Here u have to decide whether to extract transaction data or master data attributes or texts.
Step 4. suppose if u have opted for transaction data, then give name in the column ex:ztd_m(data source name)
Step 5. select create button, this will take u to another screen.
Step 6. Here u have to decide from which application component u r extacting data.Ex: SD,MM,..
Step 7. in this screen u have to fill short disciption, medium, long( these r mandatory).
Step 8. then U have to Table name or view name which u have created in se11.
Step 9. I f u want to maintain generic delta then u can select generic delta in top left hand side corner.
Step 10. in next screen u have to give some field which is primary key.
step 11. here u to specify whether time stamp or cal day or numeric pointer depending on u r requirement.
step 12. then u have to specify  whether new status for changed records or additive delta.
If u choose additive delta ,then u have to load data to infocube or ods object.
If u choose new status for changed records, then u to load data  to ods object only.
    Step 13. then save it.
Step 14. then logon to sap bw ,then replicate the data source then as usuall.

  • Does anyone know how to make custom date formats?

    Hi,
In lightroom 4 I found a really useful tip where you can alter the file that controls how teh date format part of the import dialogue works - and more importantly it allows you to choose teh folder locations too, so when I import from another camera I can have the folder structure how I like.
The annoying thing is that I know its there and it will just be a case of copying the file I made to the right location.

Typical, as soon as I post I find it!!
For anyone else looking for this its a file called: TranslatedStrings.txt
This should go in: C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 5\Resources\en
You may need to make the en folder (and the file for that matter I forget)
The formatting I used was this:
    "$$$/AgImportDialog/ShootArrangement_1/Template=Pictures\FromCamera\Cameras\5D Mark III\%Y_%m_%d"
    "$$$/AgImportDialog/ShootArrangement_2/Template=Pictures\FromCamera\Cameras\DMC-LX7\%Y_%m_ %d"
    "$$$/AgImportDialog/ShootArrangement_3/%Y_%m_%d"
    Hope that helps someone

    Dear Oracle Expert,

    2) Oracle Developer Suite 10G R2
    3) Oracle Database 10G
I create this form but i want it in that way. So, i can format the text written in text box, such as BOLD, Italic, make a url link etc.
How can i do that using Oracle Developer suite 10G R2.
    Best regards,

    Mr.François Degrelle ,
Is this the proper command for sign-in the jar file
    set PATH=C:\DevSuiteHome_1\jdk\bin;%PATH%
    C:\DevSuiteHome_1\forms\webutil\sign_webutil     C:\DevSuiteHome_1\forms\java\frite.jar
I am bit of confusing for this command C:\DevSuiteHome_1\forms\webutil\sign_webutil cuz here sign_webutil is used for webutil configuration. Just let me assure, that this is the right command or not. And if your answer is no, then what it will be.
    Thanks in Advance

  • How to populate LOV using Runtime values

    Hi!!
    I am using jdeveloper 11.1.1.5
I had created GlJrnlHd VO as a af:form and GlJrnlLnVO as a af:table I had also created a viewlink between TwoTable
I have an LOV in GlJrnlLnVO [GjlAcct] When my user clicks the Lov the values in the LOV must be shown using the below queryy
select * from gllvlacct where glalplant = :plant [This plant must be get from the Runtime i.e., Plant of GlJrnlHd]
    How can i acheive this.,

    Hari,
There is something not clear in your use case.
    >
    >
Do you mean that once the user try to select from LOV, it should be filtered based on :plant value?
Does :plant value comes from an attribute in the current row?
Do you want to change the values in LOV once the :plant value have changed?
Are you asking about cascade LOV?
