How to make nikeplus open in new Safari/ML?

Hi, I cannot log in to http://nikeplus.nike.com/plus/ with Safari (the page itself loads but when pressing "Log in" it just spins forever.
It works just fine with e.g. Google Chrome. Does anyone else notice same behavior? Is there workaround? Thanks

Check Safari > Preferences > Advanced
Where you see: Style sheet
Click: None Selected where you see Style sheet:
If that's not the issue, try deleting the cache.db.
Quit Safari. Now open the Finder. From the Finder menu bar top of your screen click Go > Go to Folder
Type this exactly as you see it here: ~/Library/Caches/com.apple.Safari/Cache.db
Click Go then move the Cache.db file to the Trash.
Relaunch Safari to test.
If that didn't help, back to Safari > Preferences > Security
Deselect: Enable plug-ins
Quit then relaunch Safari to test.
If that helped, there's a third party plugin installed that's preventing the drop down login.

I'm not totally sure what you mean, because unless you are talking about not having to right-click a link first, that is prasisly what I do. the link you provided I just right clicked it & clicked on "open in new tab" ,& that's what it did.
- But now because that was so easy to answer, I can only assume you mean not actually having-to right-click a link to open it up in a new tab. ,hope this helped.

The toolbars can be (silently) installed by a number of different packages/websites, although I fear I'm well behind the times on what packages/websites are most commonly installing them for folks nowadays. There's a lot of variations about, as it's a platform rather than a specific application:

You can change your home page settings to open a blank tab:

* Beside "Startup", change to "Show a blank tab"

Also check in Safari Preferences and look in the Safari Opens with and make sure that it is set to “with a new window” and not “all the windows from your last session”. Take a look at the article for more information.

How to make movies open in the center of my screen.

Does anyone know how to make Quicktime open up videos in the center of a screen? When I double click any movie file it pops open in the uppermost far left corner, and I have to drag it down into a more comfortable area. It's annoying with a large monitor.

The script writing lobe of my brain was damaged by years of drug abuse, years ago. Try as I might, I can't seem to get it right.
The most common error I get is:
Expected end of line, etc. but found “end tell”.
I tried modeling one of any number of existing scripts but still no dice.
I tried this:
tell application "QuickTime Player"

set the bounds of window 1 to {235, 58, 944, 590}

And got this error message: QuickTime Player got an error: NSReceiverEvaluationScriptError: 4

From the Safari menu bar, select
Safari ▹ Preferences ▹ Extensions
Turn all extensions OFF and test. If the problem is resolved, turn extensions back ON and then disable them one or a few at a time until you find the culprit.
If you wish, you may be able to salvage the malfunctioning extension by uninstalling and reinstalling it. Its settings will revert to their defaults. If the extension still causes a problem, remove it permanently or refer to its developer for support.

Safari is opening using the resume feature. To disable that, quit Safari using Command+Option+Q or Hold Option when choosing the menu item Safari>Quit.

I think the best you can do is use the app.launchURL JavaScript method and specify that you want to open in a new window:

I have 2 versions of the same program. Only difference in Info.plist of that bundles is CFBundleVersion field. How can I make Finder to launch newer version, when user opens file assosiated with this application (user has both versions)
