i need to make SAP standard field as mondatory in a screens EG31, EG34,EG71
TO DO THAT I HAVE TO USE : EXIT_SAPLE30D_002
so can anybody tell me how that

You can use standard program RSMODPRF.
Execute this standard program without giving any input
and select the data element whatever you want to make mandatory and click on Assign prog/screen button click OK and come back.
now give required data element and execute the program again
and write the code to make that datea element mondatory.

Thanks for the clarification.
But, as far, I have understood the query - it is very simple and that is..
Whenever one creates a Sales Order (T.Code: VA01), Parameter: Sales Office needs to be mandatory (for all Sales Order, irrespective of Customer Account).
Until-unless, user won't enter the parameter: Sales Office, System will not lead to next page (now, here we need to enter Customer/ material etc...).

You can achieve this from BADI only if BADI is allows you to do this. You cannot achieve everything from a BADI. Check if there is any expoting field in the methods that can be ticked for making the field in display mode. If not then you cannot achieve this from BADI.
The field you want to default to display is a standard or zfield. If z, then you can changethe attribute of the screen field to Output only.

I am doing a Spend Analysis and thereby restructring some aspects of SAP and business processes. One of the intiatives is to leverage the 'Corporate Group' field in Vendor Master for getting the consolidated spend visibility at the corporate group level of vendors. So far this field wasn't been used to effect. I can update it manually, but the question remains is how do I do with the change management of the corporate group of large vendor base in the scenario of everhappening Mergers and Acquisitions. Are there any alternatives anybody can suggest ? (Like linking D&B numbers etc)

Let me elaborate the purpose of using this field. I want to have a consolidated spend visibility across a corporate group which has multiple vendor codes. Its difficult everytime to group the spends of these vendors manually especially when the number of vendors are too high. Also sometimes the names of vendor companies may not indicate that these are from same corporate group but in fact they could be. In order to have the reports generated on corporate groups, I must maintain this field in vendor master or a Z table. But the problem here is, it should be possible to update this field as and when there are any mergers or acquisitions at vendor side and the corporate group of a particular vendor gets changed due to this. So this has to be effected in vendor master or Z-table automatically. I do know that there are certain agencies like Dunn & Brad (DNB) which provide possibly the details on corporate group of a company but its not fully effective for Indian Vendors as its not mandatory on them to have DNB number & also its a disconnected process and I was looking to connect it seamlessly to Corporate Group field so that I need not bother to update these things manually everytime. I also wanted to explore various possibilities of doing this.
I hope I have spelled it out correctly.

For Notification i am not sure whether this field is ther , but anything u can perform checkings via
QQMA0014 QM/PM/SM: Checks before saving a notification
Alternatively u can also explore via Transaction variant SHD0 ..

How to add a standard field to the Product search criteria ?

Hello all,
despite my searches on google and sdn, i'm still confused on how to add a standard field in the search criteria of the Product seach screens (component/view PRD01QR/Search for example) , I mean a standard Product field that is not included in the available fields list in the UI configuration tool.
I found some explanations for adding a specific Z-Field, this is ok , but I'd like to add a standard field as a search criterion, namely the item category group.
Could someone give me the needed detailed steps for this?

Adding a new SAP standard field to complaints result BOL

Hi Experts,
There is a requirement to add SAP standard field 'Posting date' to Advance search result BOL of complaints.
This field already exists in search BOL and visible on WEB UI advanced search.
The field is added as attribute in result context node of BT120S_CPL/AdvSearchComplRL through wizard.
But, unable to see the values getting populated. Could you please let us know if any code to be written for getting values populated.

My previous post was based on the fact that you have added a model attribute. Since you have added the field as a value attribute and you want to use it for querying , then you would have to do the following
a) Extract the value from the value node.
b) Add the selection param so that 'posting date' is passed to the GENIL. You can use add selection param method in the Advanced query. Use the name of the field in the BOL & the value as yours.
c) Get the result & show it on the way you want.
This is same as it would have been when you had a model field. In that case also you would have extracted the value from model node. I see no difference here except that fetching the field. Rest of the steps remain the same if the field is available in BOL for advanced query.
Yes the difference lies in showing it in the WebUI as now you would have to fill this value node manually. If you had a model node , the framework would have done this for you.
But don't base your choice of model/value node on the ease of coding but on the business case.

Could you please share why you want to make tax Classification field mandatory in sales order.
Maintain Tax classification field for customer in Customer Master Data = (Sales Area Data - Billing document Tab page)
Tax Classification field for Material in Material Master Data = Sales Org. 1 View.
While creating sales order and enter customer and material system automatically fetch the tax classification related data into sales order.
Tax is calculated based on the ship to party.

I am looking for a userexit/BADI that will allow me to influence the value of a SAP standard field in EKPO right before save of a Purchase Order in Create mode.
I have not yet found anything that lets me do it.

Hi Atul,
in standard way you can influence SAP fields in the beginning of the transaction. In later user-exits / BADI you aren't allowed to change e.g. EKPO any longer. Of course you might do it anyway (see dynamical assign), but it's as bad as a modification.

Modify SAP standard fields in an Infotype

Hi friends!
We have enhanced an Infotype successfully added few extra fields and they work perfectly.
In Infotype 28, there are already 3 SAP standard fields and we have added 4 more.
Now, we need to enable/disable according to the our added fields. For Eg by a Custom check box, I need to enable/disable SAP standard field for an infotype.
We tried by LOOP at SCREEN and all but due to SAP standard fields we are unable to do it.
Any ideas?

Hi Park,
Standard Infotype Fields configured (enable/disabled/hidden) in the view V_T588M (Tcode-SM30). You can disable any standard infotype field here if it is independent of other fields (i.e. before screen opens itself field is disabled).
If you want the field to be disable at runtime you may need to edit the feature 'PNNNN' (where NNNN is your standard infotype number (transaction -pe03)).
Also have you tried to code (loop at screen. endloop) in badi HRPAD00INFTY (method BEFORE_OUTPUT). I am not sure whether this will work or not.

Navigate to Assignment Screen. Help > Diagnostic > Custom Code > Personalize
Create a new item : say "Mandatory Payroll Name"
Condition:
Trigger Event:WHEN-NEW-BLOCK-INSTANCE
Trigger Object: ASSGT
Actions:
Object type: Item
Target Object: ASSGT.PAYROLL_NAME
Property Name: REQUIRED
Value: TRUE
Apply / Save.
Exit form and re-enter Assignment Screen to check.
