while creating sales order, " how to make tax classification field mandatory ".
Please tell me the procedure.
In tcode OVA2. what are the entries for fields,table.

Could you please share why you want to make tax Classification field mandatory in sales order.
Maintain Tax classification field for customer in Customer Master Data = (Sales Area Data - Billing document Tab page)
Tax Classification field for Material in Material Master Data = Sales Org. 1 View.
While creating sales order and enter customer and material system automatically fetch the tax classification related data into sales order.
Tax is calculated based on the ship to party.

Does this trigger fire before the trigger that is making the field mandatory?

How to make material code field mandatory in VA01
Dear all,
I want to make material code field mandatory while creating sales order (VA01). As of now even if I dont enter material code , and just enter customer code and P.O. number , I am able to save my sales order.
I tried to do it with incompletion log , but could not succeed.
SHD0 could be an option, is there any simpler way out ?

You have 2 options.
1 - Incompletion Log
If you add Material filed to your incompletion log, then when you try to save the sales order it'll give the "Save / Edit" pop up message. But then by pressing Save button you can save the sales order.
If you want to avoid that pop up; do this. (To avoid user saving Incomplete sales orders)
Go to VOV8 Tx.
Go in to your sales document type
Under "Transaction flow" section mark the "IIncompletion messages" tick box
Then try with a new sales order without a material number
If won't give that pop up message any more where as it'll always go in to the incompletion log. So you can't save it without maintaining the material.
That's a alternative way of doing.
2- SHD0.

That's probably COD_MarketingLead.QC screen.
Open this screen, select the Section Group, go to Ext. Explorer, and click on Adjust Properties.
Find the field you want to set as mandatory and change this property to True. This will make the blue star appears right next to the field.
Then write a logic just like suggested by Sunil in the OnSave.absl script to add a hard stop in case the field is not filled, with error messages, etc.

I'm a fresh of CRM.Now,I have a business requirement,that is when creating/changing sales order in CRM GUI and Portal,
after I entered the procudt id,quantity,then press enter button,I want the field "Product" to be gray.
In other words,I don't want the operater to change the product after creating an item,of course,if he really need to change it,he can delete the whole line,and then create a new one.
How should I implement my idea?

As per my understanding you are talking about currency conversation in sales order which is in grayed out at sale header level,the values are coming from VBKD - KURSK so through the user exit ask your abaper make that filed in editable mode.

At the "Sales: sales org. 1" view of the material, there exist the tax classification field of the material master. How can I make this field mandatory?

Go to T-code OMSR
Select Field name MARA - TAKLV and click on the arroow sysmbol on the right against that line.
For Field Ref MM01 - select the radio button "Reqrd Entry".

There are 2 ways to make profit center mandatory
1.Transaction Variant
2.Incompletion procedure
1.Transaction Variant
Step 1:Goto Tcode shd0 and input transaction as va01 and give name of transaction variant as ( example. zva01 ) and click on create or F5
Step 2.Then it takes you to sales order screen.Just click on enter untill you see profit center field.
Step 3.check the box required against profit center.
Step 4.click on save ( under a package name or as local object ) and exit
Step 5.Assign transaction variant to your sales order type through tcode v0v8.
2.Incompletion Procedure
You can add the field table-vbap,field- prctr,status-04,check-warning to your existing incompletion procedure Tcode- ova2 assigned to your order type in tcode vov8 and check the box - incomplete messeges for your order type through tcode vov8.
If incompletion procedure is not assigned to your order type than you have to create a new incompletion procedure and assign it to order type.
