How to make the combobox column in grid can be selectable

Hi,
I have a grid in a form and use a SQL query as the data source. Now I want to make a column(a field in a SQL query) to be displayed as combobox and user can select it. I tried to use below code to make the column displayed like a combobox, it seems that the colunn becomes a dropdown box but i can't select it. Also I can't find a way to add valid value and description into this combobox like what I do on a combobox in a form.

WPF: How to make the first column does not show row separator and Left column separator in DataGrid?

Our WPF application uses DataGrid.
One of request is that first column of DataGrid does not show row separator and also does not show Left column separator. So it looks like the first column does not belong to the DataGrid. However, when select a row, the cell of first column still get selected.
How do we make it? Thx!

We found another way to achieve it by using DataGridRowHeader. The good way to use DataGridRowHeader is that we do not need to make the first column ReadOnly (click on first column does not select whole row anymore). Select RowHeader in a row will select
whole row. Move scroll bar horizontally, the row header still keep in visible area.

How to make the lines of a grid shine ?

hey y'all im working on a project in which i have a solid(as a ground) on which i applied the effect grid.....my problem is that
1 - i want to make the lines of the grid shine like if i applied a glow effect but just to the lines...
2 - make the shine be progressive like if there was a flow, an "evolution", the shine has to be dynamic(for eg : like the lines of glow on a suit of a TRON LEGACY Movie character)

Glows are easily achieved by duplicating a layer, applying something like Fast Blur and changing the blend mode to Add. Do this 4 or 5 times with the first duplicate blurred 4 or 5 pixels and the last blurred maybe 20 pixels. You'll end up with a nice glowing grid.
Pre-compose those layer and try applying the CC Light Sweep effect.
If you want something where the little energy spikes that travel across the grid are random that will take a bit more work. It would involve construction the grid from multiple layers rather than a single solid with the grid effect applied. You'd then apply CC light sweep to each layer individually and animate the center position of the light sweep.

I have built a Windows Embedded Standard 7 image that includes multiple language packs for the countries that we support. When I sysprep this image and reboot, I am prompted for my language (a screen appears with many selections like "My language
is English"). Once I select my language and select next, I am prompted for "Country or Region", Currency and Keyboard. For some unknown reason the "Country or Region" selection only affects the setting under "Region
and Language" | Administrative | "non-Unicode programs", it does not affect the setting setting under "Region and Language" | Location | "Current Location".
Is there a way to modify my image such that the "Country or Region" selection is used for the location setting?

It does seem to have a minimum width and won't get narrower than that, but I'm not sure whether you are running into that limitation or whether for some reason you are not getting the resizing arrow when you mouse over the thin border between the sidebar and the page.

Assuming you have test data like this ;

In OBIEE 11.1.1.6.0,how to expand the hierarchy column automatically when delivery reports by agent?
For example:
In SampleLite RPD, when we drag "Time Hierarchy" and Sales column into the report , and sent it by agent ,it will only display "Total" sales, not show all level value,such as Year,Month,Day.So how to expand the hierarchy column automatically when delivery reports by agent?
If we expand all levels and save them, it will be ok, however, when we add new data, it will be collpased automatically and not show the lowest level data, requiring Users or Developer to modify this report for expanding the hierarchy. We think it is very trouble, is there any good suggestion or method for achieving our requirement?

Can you please tell me as to how to make the fields on the table control screen fixed (not respond to the scroll bar) i.e. simillar to MC88 screen , the first two fields are fixed and don't respond to the scroll.

In TC, goto attributes and set 'Fixed columns' as 2. This will fix the first 2 columns.

How to make newly added columns appear In IR report

Hi.
I am using APEX 4.0.1. I've created an IR report and then, subsequently, needed to add several column sto the underlying SQL query.
When I save the changes, APEX tells me that it will add the new columns and that I need to run the IR report and either click "Reset" or use the Actions menu to make the new columns appear in the report. I did the latter and the new columns do appear just fine.
However, when I then tried to modify the column labels, I am unable to see these in the report "Attributes" section. And so, I can't access their labels.
How do I get the new columns to appear in the Attributes section of the iR report?

I've done exactly what you've described.
I added several new column sto the SQL query underlying the IR. I then re-ran the default Primary report, added the new columns via the Actions -> Select menus, and then saved the report.
When I then go into the IR Attributes page, the new columns are not there. I've closed/re-opened my browser. I don't know what the issue is.
I'm wondering ... would the fact that the underlying query is SELECTing from a view rather than a table make any difference? I wouldn't think it would.

Hi Ros
You have a couple of issues, one that is simple to resolve and one that is not so simple.
First, the simple one - the word TOTAL. To alter the word that Discoverer inserts next to a total, or to even remove the word altogether, use this workflow:
1. Right-click on the total and from the pop-up menu select Edit Total
2. At the bottom right-hand corner of the Edit Total dialog box is the area where the label is maintained. You will see a checkbox for the label
3. If you uncheck the label you can change the label to anything you like, including nothing
4. After you have set the label, click OK and close the Edit Total dialog box
Note: In Desktop, this is done via a drop-down from the Total dialog box. If you click the drop-down, the last item in the list is called Generate Label Automatically. If you uncheck this you can create your own label.
Your second issue concerning the non-totaling of the grand total on some items means that there is something preventing one or more of the totals from calculating. First of all, try to determine which item or items is causing the problem by adding individual totals to each of the desired columns. You will eventually find the column which has the culprit. If you use the above workflow to suppress the display of any labels your total line will look as though you have totaled all items.
Next, having found the column that will not total, try to figure out why the values will not add up. Could the column be a calculated item? If so, it is possible that you have used SUM on the outside of the calculation, like this:
SUM(some item - some other item) - this will not total if the original items themselves are in the query and are also being summed. This is because you are mixing aggregate and detail items within the total.
Try changing the formula like this:
SUM(some item) - SUM(some other item) and see if this helps.
If this is not the cause then try changing the formula for that column's total to CELL SUM instead of SUM. This causes Discoverer to literally add the values in the column.
If this is not the cause, could you possibly be trying to total repeated values? By default, this is disabled in the later versions of Discoverer. The repeated values will be caused if you have multiple joins in your query and the item that you are totaling is from the many end of a one to many relationship. Suppose you had items from a header table and line table in the same worksheet with there being multiple lines for the same header, and now let's say you have a column which is returning something from the header. That value will get repeated and if you try to total it would generate the wrong answer, hence out of the box Discoverer is trying to protect you from yourself.
However, it could be that the column really should be totaled but because Discoverer has detected a one to many join it will not total that column. To prove that this is the reason, change the join from a one to many to a one to one. Don't worry, this won't stop the query from working. If this allows the total to work then you can either leave the join as it is with a one to one, which won't harm Discoverer or you can edit the pref.txt on the server and change one of the preferences.
The preference I would change is called AllowAggregationOverRepeatedValues. By default this is disabled and will be set to 0. Changing this to a 1 will now tell Discoverer that repeated values can now be totaled. Don't forget to apply the preferences correctly by execiting applypreferences.bat, on Windows or applypreferences.sh, in Linux or Unix, and then stopping and restarting the Discoverer server.
