How to manage the transaction in ADF

Hi,
I am using jdev 11.1.2.3
I have two BTF employee and department. I have main.jspx in that two tabs employee and department. Now I have changed some value in employee and department. My current page is employee . When i click on commit button both the forms are getting committed. Can u plz tell me how do i manage the transactions ??
My req is only my current opened tab should get committed even if i changed in both the tab .. How can i achieve this ??

I have unchecked data control in department BTF. Now i can able to commit only employee form, Unable to commit department form ....
My req is i have two form employee and department m using BTF in two diff tabs. I want the transaction must be independent for both BTF in same application module..
Is this work when you put commit button on page inside BTF ?
If you want to commit particular BTF with commit button placed outside of BTF, you will need to somehow invoke commit operation in BTF.

weblogic-ejb-jar.xml has the following set:

And we printed the isolation level of the connection returned from a method in the EJB, but the isolation level is still the default. I can share the code to reproduce the problem if you want to take a look at it. Please let me know how I can get that across to you.

Go to BIC transaction screen
Fill the selection screen parameters as below
1. Update Run (Test Run: Check Off: Real Run:Check On)
2. Set Deletion Flag (Check On)
3. Maximum no. of records: 999999
4. Detail List (Check On)
5. Display variant: 1SAP
6. Presentation server (Select Radio Button)
7. Application server (Deselcet Radio button)
8. File name and Path: Select relavant file which is to be upload
9. Bank country: If needed (Give respective country name)
10. Select execute button or F8
NOTE: Make sure that before executing run execute TEST RUN by deselecting Update Run check box

Hai ,
there are two ways to use SCI , one is you open you code in se38 -->display mode --> Program >check>code inspector. here your program is executed with a dafault variant provided in SCI.
Second method is go to SCI , create a inspection an choose a variant , here system provide you with a wide range of program checks (security/syntax etc)

How many of the transactions woill be Roll backed?

Could you please clarify That How many of the transactions will be rollbacked when we say ROLLBACK....?
(For e.g., As a first transaction i used delete command to delete one row from a table of 10 rows....As a second transaction i used update command two times to update two records in the same table....Now i created one table ...after that i said rollback....So how many of the transactions will be rollbacked?)

How to manage the host root folder?

I'm using iWeb08, and I'm on system OSX 10.5.8.
Last week I flawlessly transferred my site from Apple to another host.
My question is, to make a few simple changes to it, {mostly text and links}, do I have to load up ALL the files again to the ftp host? I don't know how to manage the root folder yet and I don't want to clutter the folder or cause the site to malfunction.
Is there any useful posts on managing a hosting root folder??

Once you get to know the file structure its possible to just upload the changed files by intelligent guesswork.
You can also look at the date on the local published files but this would be rather time consuming.
Most FTP apps have a synchronise feature to handle this for you but you need to set this up carefully and do a test run to make sure it doesn't wipe out essential files on the server.

I'm currently looking at the Ask the expert(=Tom Kyte) application and I cannot figure out how to manage the Oracle Text-index "ATE_SEARCH_IDX" ON "ATE_SUBMITTED_QUESTIONS" ("ANSWER")
INDEXTYPE IS "CTXSYS"."CONTEXT".
In the Readme-file can be read:
"To customize search functionality, view the Oracle Text Index installation
script. You can change the interval that the index is synched and change
the fields that are used in the search."
I don't see the Oracle Text Index installation-script.
Can anyone give me the contents of the script or come up with an alternative?

Thank you, Marco. I found it.
Still, the reason why I was looking for it was the fact that I asked myself a question, answered it and then tried to Search for it. I couldn't find my own question (and answer).
The only way I found to make it work was to manually rebuild the index on the answer-column in ATE_SUBMITTED_QUESTIONS. But I'm sure there's another way, because these are not the kind of things you'd like a customer (or myself) to do on a regular basis.
Can you give me another way to synchronize this index preferably managed from inside the database?

Hi, there is not standard solution, we did customized process for consignment credit block , check below
1. defined status profile - with lock/auto/approved/rejected and new t.code for approval or rejected.
2. maintained consignment credit limit in Z table
3. logic for detemining status written in sales order save userexit.
4. while calcualting the values, system need to check open sonsignment order of customer/ open deliveries/ stocks at customer place MSKU table. and calculate value with MBEW/KONV ect.
5. if value is less than Z table then status AUTO, which do not need release, if value is greater than Z table put status LOCK means credit block need to release from new T.code.
