How to manipulate Webi column headings?

I am achieving the webi output result as shown in First picture in attachment

The column Headings are
Fiscal Quarter; Sales Document; Item; Total revenue; revenue1; revenue2; revenue3; revenue4
Now I am placing 'Prompt Variable' for Fiscal quarter.
So when I enter 2010-Q1 in the prompt,the row with Fiscal quarter 2010-Q1 will be filtered and also I should be able to change the heading of columns (revenue1; revenue2; revenue3; revenue4) as 2010-Q1;2010-Q2, 2010-Q3; 2010-Q4 respectively.
The revenue1 column should contain the prompt value entered and the subsequent columns revenue2; revenue3; revenue4 should increase by a quarter each.

How can the desired results be achieved?

For the first quarter column create a formula for column heading
=UserResponse("Enter Fiscal Quarter:")
Next-> create a variable for this formula suppose var1 and use this as input formula for second column which is as follows
=If(ToNumber(Substr([Var1];7;1))+1)=5 Then (FormatNumber((ToNumber(Substr([Var1];1;4))+1);"####")+"-Q"+"1") Else ((FormatNumber(ToNumber(Substr([Var1];1;4));"####"))
now again create variable from this craeted formula as var2 and use this varible in the input for formula for third column
=If(ToNumber(Substr([Var2];7;1))+1)=5 Then (FormatNumber((ToNumber(Substr([Var2];1;4))+1);"####")+"-Q"+"1") Else ((FormatNumber(ToNumber(Substr([Var2];1;4));"####"))+"-Q"+(ToNumber(Substr([Var2];7;1))+1))
and so on..
there is no need to display variables as columns. Since only the headings of the columns are manipulated, there is not performance issue.

# At this point, you are likely to find that none of them are prior to your problem occuring. If so, open your backups of this folder and go through steps 2-4 to find a file prior to your problem occuring.
# When you find a file, copy it to the root of your current profile folder and name it, "sessionstore.js"
# Open Firefox. Mine opened up as desired.
This is a Windows solution. Sorry I can't comment on other platforms, but I'd bet that as this is just a file copy and renaming, it is likely the same.
For Windows users, you may find you need to sign out and login as an administrator in order to access the backups. You need not logoff your standard account, but do have Firefox closed as described above.

HD is the paragraph format for which you have to maintain the tabs, margins etc.,

How to preserve the column headings from my playlist when I transfer the list as WAV files to a flash drive?

I have digitized several old vinyls as WAV files and have them in my MacBook Pro in an iTunes playlist. I have arranged the list under the column headings of "Grouping", "Name", "Time", "Artist", "Album" and "Genre". When I copy the files to a flash drive by drag-and-drop, none of the headings except "Name" show up. How to preserve all of the column headings when copying the file to an external device? I have the same issue when trying to sync from iTunes 11 on my MacBook to my iPhone 4 iOS6.1. I blindly did the iOS upgrade to 6.1 (more fool me) and since then have not been able to use my phone as an iPod.
I have tried restoreing it, I ve tried restoring it to a new phone but it hasn't worked for me.
The sync starts and the capacity bar in iTunes shows capacity including and music or films etc that are to be included in the sync and then iTunes stops the sync and nothing has been transfered. As with your experience the music is shown in iTunes under Music, under Devices as greyed out with the syncing icon (dotted circle) to the left of it.
When I try to include photos in the sync, I also get an error msg stating the connection to the iPhone has been lost. I am trying to do the sync vis USB, so I dont why I get this error.
I can of course download any music I've bought from Apple from my iCloud to my phone but I want to be able to put any music I want on to it like I could before on iOS5.

I have an internal table that is created in my program and I send that table out as a data file attachment on an email.
I have a request to include column heading on the data file going out.
Does anyone have any ideas as to how I can include a heading line as the first line of the output file?
I'm an ABAP newbie and I don't know the best way to accomplish this?

you can get this done in 2 ways:
1 - Change the query to add another column and the re-generate the report
2 - If changing query is not possible, you can change the report it self for adding extra field. If you look at the code, it will be more like normal ABAP code. you can easily modify it (If you are ABAPer) for your additional requirements.

Column headings missing in the ouput

Hi All,
the report is displaying more than 255 line size for that i have given in the program as shown below
Report XXXXX LINE-SIZE 323.
Actually i had ran the report in the background there i have selected print settings as shown below
format :Z_65_1023 Expanding the spool size for more than columns 255
but iam not getting column headings after 255 line size.
Please help me to resolve this issue.

Hi Nancy,
Try creating your header under TOP-OF-PAGE, as bellow so whenever a new page is called this top-of-page will be executed satisfying your requirement.
TOP-OF-PAGE.
PERFORM print-report_title.
PERFORM print-column_heading.

How to implement fixed column headers

Hi Gurus,
I got a requirement to show a fixed column header in a sql reports. That means no matter how many rows the report returns, when scrolling down, the column headers are fixed and appear on the top.
Anybody has any comments on this? If I'm not making sense, let me know and I can explain further.

I just realized that I did not include my name in my prior post, its Kyle, sorry about that. I also do not necessarily have an example code to show you, let me explain:
I am very much a newbie to the HTML environment. Amazingly, I was able to apply a code that would facilitate a scroll bar in my report. This code was applied to the template called Reports Region in the section entitled Definition, it basically looks like this:

My next feat was to figure out how to fix the column headings, here is were….. well basically I guessed. First; I looked at the website describing how to implement this in three steps, to be functional in both IE and Fire Fox. I was not sure exactly were to apply the script provided, so I made a logical guess and dropped it in to the same area as my previous code. When I went to view the page the code line:
onload="MakeStaticHeader('TableId','150px')"
showed up at the top of the page (no Java script error presented itself). I concluded that I either have the wrong programming syntax, its in the wrong template and or template section. To complicate matters I have no idea of how to identify the correct TableId. I did look to view the HTML source code of the page, but found several candidates with the prefix "ID=".
Quite honestly, without a good formal understanding of HTML or CSS programming techniques, I may be biting more off than I can chew. If this is the case then would you be kind enough to point me in some direction that might help me get over this hurdle.

How to make Row and Column headings bold in 2004s Web template

I have created a web template which has 3 queries.
I would like to achieve the following
1> Bold the column heading and row headings.
2> Delete the space between the three reports(right now there is some space)
3> Align the columns on top of each other so that it looks like a continuous report.
(I know how to suppress the column headers on the 2 reports which are at the bottom)
Is this possible in 2004s???
With Table interface class gone in 2004s--is stylesheet modification the only way to go????
Please provide me with steps to achieve the above.

How to haveour own titles/captions in selection screen & in column headings

we have SAP B1 2005 A, MS SQL 2005
though i am new to MSSQL/T-SQL programming, purely through lot of trials & errors i have learnt & managed to develop many reports/queries !
but, i am facing some problems : how to have our own captions/title for the options in selection screen & aso in reports/queries column headings.
e.g. :
for Customer Aging analysis, i would like to accept a set of 3 parameters (aging days) from the user. where the user may enter the values 30, 60 & 90 OR any other values.
i have the following codes for this purpose (considering my question's (over) size, only small portions of my program are given below)
declare @mdue1 int,
           @mdue2 int,
            @mdue3 int
set @mdue1 = [%1]
set @mdue2 = [%2]
set @mdue3 = [%3]
but, in the selection screen, the system displays "%1 Debit Amount   Greater than" as the caption & 0.00 as the default value. the same is the case for the other two parameters [%2] & [%3] also.
i tried defining the variable @mdue1 as smallint & also tinyint, but the result is the same.
how to have our own captions/title for the options in selection screen instead of the ones displayed by t-sql based on our SELECT statement.
how to have our own column headings, dynamically defined/coined using variables instead of hard coded columns headings (within quotes).
e.g. in the select statement, instead of defining a column as '<= 30 Days' = T0.due_1

well, i will now mark this question as answered, but still, if anyone has a direct solution "problem", please do share with us.
i am able to write queries (in fact, full fledged programs) in T-SQL & getting the desired output and for such a trivial thing i do not want to go for an add-on SDK module. but, considering the limitations of T-SQL and the complex requirements of real business world, i think, we have to go the .net way only.
regarding add-ons, i heard that add-ons will slow down SAP B1. is it true ?

Numbers does not have rotated text within cells. You can place a text box over the cell that has rotated text but you cannot rotate text within a cell.

Whilst writing, too many instances of the coloured wheel rotating, nothoing showing on screen, suddenly whole sentences appear. Very irritating, so how can I stop this ?

About the colored wheel issue: does this happen in all applications in which you are typing? Are you doing other things in that app at the same time. For instance, if Safari is one of the problematic apps, are you also downloading at the same time? I have seen this issue a few times - very rarely - and have found that a restart usually gets things back to normal. I'm not sure if this will be a helpful workaround for you, but it has had some success.

Interactive Reports using collections - How to control column headings

I found a link in the forum somewhere that showed a step by step how to to use collections with Interactive Reports so you can dynamically build the SQL and also control the column headings. Does anyone know where the How-To is ??
If not, I know how to build the SQL dynamically but what is the best way to control the column headings.
Sometimes the report will have 17 columns and other times up to 30 columns.

Hi Bill,
Without knowing more about the PL/SQL code, the underlying tables and the select statements used, it is difficult to say.
I would firstly check that I had indexes on the right column or combination of columns. One minute sounds a lot for a query to me, but that may be ok if the tables are very large and the PL/SQL has to do a fair bit to construct the output. You could also do an Explain Plan for any query to check to see if indexes are being used if they exist - this would also show up any part of a query that takes an inordinate amount of time.
I assume that the PL/SQL is only run once even if the page is reloaded multiple times? However, once the collection has been created, the report itself should be fairly quick as it should be just a simple select over the collection data. Switching on the debug mode should help identify which part is taking the time.

How can I print row and column headings?

In AW6 I was able to select Appleworks in the print window and check if I wanted to print row and/or column headings. I have not been able to find how to do this in Numbers. Can anyone tell me how?

Workaround:
Use a row header and a column header to mimic the missing feature.
In cell B1 I entered
=CHAR(CODE("A")-1+COLUMN())
and applied fill to the right
CAUTION, this formula is OK only from colum B thru column Z.
In cell A2 I entered
=ROW()
and applied Fill Down
Then convert column A as header one
convert row A as header one.
