Hello Script goeroe's,
I have a mask:
var mask_playzone:Sprite = new Sprite();
    mask_playzone.graphics.beginFill(0xFF0000);
    mask_playzone.graphics.drawRect(30, 30, 770, 570);
I have an instance (mc) on stage:
var Elements:Container            =    new Container;
    Elements.width                =    800;
   Elements.height               = 600
    Elements.x                    =    0;    // 44 pix is het extra stukje vlees dat we nodig hebben om het persepctief te laten zien
    Elements.y                    =    0;
Elements.mask     = mask_playzone;
I have a tween:
var Tween_Elements:Tween    = new Tween(Elements, "x", Strong.easeIn, Elements.x, Elements.x - 1024, 1.2, true);
Obviously the Maks moves along with the tween. How can i fix it for the mask to stay in place?
Should i consider nesting?

You can't be showing all of your code. I don't see where the mask will move with the Elements. I don't even see where you have added the mask to the display, nor the Elements object. How is the Elements object on the stage? What is the Elements object such that you can assign it a width and height property?

Telling us that you are using 11.1 helps. But it is far from a complete description of the environment. What edition of the database are you using? What options are installed? What Enterprise Manager packs are licensed? Is any of this changable? Could you license another option for the database or another pack for Enterprise Manager if that was necessary?
What does it mean to you to "mask data"? Do you want to store the data on disk and then mask the data in the presentation layer when certain people query it (i.e. store the patient's social security number in the database but only present ***-**- and the last 4 digits to certain sets of employees)? Do you want to hide entire fields from certain people? Do you want to change the data stored in the database when you are refreshing a lower environment with production data? If so, do you need and/or want this process to be either determinisitic or reversable or both?

Mask motion tween with a black background

Hello Everyone,
I am new to Flash with only two simple animations to my name. I have searched the Adobe help documentation and the Forums for an answer to my question, but I have not found anything. The closest answer I found was in reference to CS3, but I wasn't sure if that was still applicable to CS5.
I am trying to setup a simple mask as a test. I want to have an oval shape as the mask moving around a black background revealing white underneath. At the end of its tween, it lands on a stick figure. (This is like the end of the James Bond opening sequence: the gun barrel fades away to leave a white circle amidst a black background. The white circle then moves to reveal part of the opening scene.) I have tried creating a black fill, on a separate layer, as a background, but that didn't work. (Putting the black layer above the mask just covered the whole mask tween; putting it below the mask just revealed the black as part of the mask. Obviously.)
Does anyone know how I can make the hidden part of the mask black instead of white? Is this even possible? I know it is annoying when beginners ask simple questions, but this is driving me crazy, and I'd like to find out how to do it because it does seem so simple. Can anyone help me stop being a noob?

create a black shape in your bottom-most layer. above that layer create a while shape that covers you black shape. above that layer create your oval and tween it. finally right click the oval containing layer and click mask. test.

Hi Nikhil,
You can encrypt message payloads within XI and then your target system can decrypt it. For this you can use some Function Module like this one(FIEB_PASSWORD_ENCRYPT). It encrypts a given string. You may use this to create your own, as per requirement. You may find some other code samples on SDN.

How to mask a Symbol

Can anyone help me on this…
I have a symbol in my stage. He is masked by a circle.
I want that when I click on the Symbols, the mask expands and reveals what is behind it. Like this :
I followed the threat “I want to know how masking objects or image.“ where redesign gave a sample with a mask.
When I try to do the same thing, is like the mask is always at position 0 0 and not over my symbol that is placed in the stage at position 795 570. Giving a mask-position doesn’t change anything. My symbol is invisible.

Unfortunately I do not recommend using masking as in the file sample you mention as FF still does not support it!
Hoeever you could use an image with a transparent circle and then expand that image. I will post a sample in a few.

Thanks for your answer, Just got an alternative solution, when i got XSF output from smartform function Module, the same XSF output (me->sf_job_output-xmloutput-trfresult-content) i used in below method to convert to string.
CALL METHOD cl_hrrcf_cs_sf=>convert_xsf_html_to_txtstring
        EXPORTING
          content     = me->sf_job_output-xmloutput-trfresult-content
        IMPORTING
          html_string = me->doc_properties-output_c
          html_tab    = me->doc_properties-output_c_tab.
later i realised that URLs in the smartform has got corresponding HTML code as below in the (me->doc_properties-output_c_tab).

when i changed the link in the debugger https://www.google.com which was inside

to "Click Me", the output was as i expected in the E-Mail which showed me Click Me and when i click that it took me to google web site.
so i decided that i would change this table(me->doc_properties-output_c_tab.) for every URL in code, though it did not seem like right solution, as suggested in this forum there is no straight solution for this, i have no other option.

How to code a "tween" object moving like in Flash?

As you may know in Flash the user can easily implement movements (including rotations) of objects by so called "tweens".
The developer defines e.g. the start and end position of a picture and how many rotations should
be applied and Flash generates the moving itself automatically. Thats nifty.
How can I implement this in Flex?

How to Mask Multiple Paths?

I need to apply a single gradient mask to two or more path
layers (which are filled with a color) but I don't see an easy way.
In Photoshop you can apply a layer mask to a folder but that
doesn't work in FW.
I tried grouping the two path layers and applying the mask.
That works but if I want to edit the paths later I have to ungroup
everything and then I lose my mask. How to put it all back together
again without actually redoing the mask eludes me.
Is there an easy way to apply a gradient mask to two or more
path/vector layers?

How to mask SSN number in Identification Number field in BP?

Hello Gurus,
We have a requirement to mask the initial 5 digits of SSN number when displayed in the Identification Number field in the Identification tab of BP transaction. What is the best way to go ahead with this enhancement?
We do not want to encrypt the data at the database level. Just encrypt at while displaying SSN Number on BP transaction.
If anyone has carried out such enhancement, would appreciate if you can share how you did it?

This is for CRM -
Go the PBO of the screen that has identification details. In a suitable PBO module, you can implement and implicit enhancement point and change the data in internal table.
In my system it is function group BUD0. It would be same in yours as well. Screen is 1520 for me, it may be something else for you. I would have done in module - 'pbo_1520'. Do it at the end of this module. Internal table name GT_BUT0ID
You need to so something similar in ECC

I am attempting to do werewolf effects, I want to make my nephew's eyes change color from blue to green to red .... while he is screaming shaking his head.
I reckon I have to do rotoscoping & mask the out the shape of his eye, and move (& adjust) the mask for every frame.
The problem is, how do I mask the odd shape of an eye ?

in your case it is quite more complicated - not just a stick (=my son hold a wooden stick as 'guideline' for my drawings), but a 3D-distorted circle .. .-ish shape.
I assume, using the Perspective/Basic 3D filter is way too much time-consuming (=to twist some grafical overlay...)
I would:
• export the sequence as 'Image sequence'
• use any paint app to color the eyes in each frame
• use QTpro to re-create a mov file for FCE..
give feedback next year, how it come out!

Create a jsp user exit for the Account main Page/Order Page.
in the jsp user exit page, override the extPostOnWindowLoad function and include the code like below

mgntFld.style.display='none';
the same way u can hide the "Management Group" label and Search option as well.....

as you can see at the picture, whenever the arrow move at the object, we can see what is inside . how to do like that? please help. iam sorry if this is in a wrong section.

on mouseover, move a mask to the 'inside' object that you want to reveal.
eg, over bigbird is redshirted person image that is masked by a displayobject that is not over the redshirted person until there's a mouseover. on mouseout, move the mask off the redshirted person.
