I have finished goods material, where my mm side stock value say rs 50,000 (in mb5b),
how to compare the FI side values?? in whch tcode?
i couldn't get the exact values in mb5l ... where to check ?? and how to match mm and fi to have similar value

The variance due to
-You have entered postings to the stock account manually.
-The stock account includes not only stock postings, but also other postings. In this case, you should check the account determination in the Customizing for Valuation and Account Assignment. Make sure that the stock accounts are used solely for the transaction key BSX (stock postings).Check Account Determination
-The account assignment for the stock accounts (transaction key BSX) was changed .
Common selection parameters to execute MB5L transaction are
-Company Code
-Valuation Area( if your company code have different valaution area that depents on the way you want to get the output)
-Period ( 3 options you have current period, previous period and previous year)
-Below that you have different output options to select
Then execute (F8)
The list with overview of stock by account with MM value and FI value. The values of MM and FI must be the same.
For a good practise don not post any adjustment accounts to the stock accounts.

Hi,
Usually it can be determined using the field shkzg. If it contain 'S' its debit and if it contains 'H' then its credit.
Before showing the amount you need to do like;
IF wa_gl-shkzg = 'H'.
wa_gl-dmbtr = wa_gl-dmbtr * (-1). " dbmtr - amount
ENDIF.
This will solve your problem.

How to fetch old and new value from of a field(non-key) from LOGDATA

Hello SDNers,
i m fecthing LOgdata from dbtlog table[in our case the log is not getting Updated in CDHDR and CDPOS table]
i m using the same logic as it is used in RSVTPROT
but the problem is
" IT is fetching OLD and NEW VALUE after Update from same field LOGDATA of dbtlog table BUT when i used same logic it is FEtching only OLD VALUEs,
CAN U GUYS PLS TELL ME HOW TO FECTH OLD VALUE and NEW VALUE of a PArticular field(non-key field, fecthing key field is not an issue) From LOGDATA field of DBTLOG.

I want to calculate the subtol and total values in alv as follows,
example:

when i put '-' in front of the month,i define the month type c,
and when the type is c,it cann't calculate the subtotals and totals.
how can i do can make the layout like the example.

For Single Value Parameter:

The above approach we use when we have source like DB2, becasue DB2 has some syntactical differences to pass multivalue paramaeter. I tested and it works good, if i am mentioning the query in above format by using Fx button while creating dataset.
but if we want fetch data from view which exist in DB2 and we need to call db2 view in SSRS and pass multivalue parameter in a way we did above then could you please mention the steps and way to achieve this.

Sounds like you need very basic advice: Start with the tutorials: http://java.sun.com/docs/books/tutorial/index.html
And if the algorithm is the problem:
- Make two variables that hold the current maximum and minimum value
- whenever a value is entered, compare it with the minimum, if it is smaller, set the minimum to that value
- ditto with maximum
at the end the two variables contain the maximum and minimum values.

How to find previous and next value of a cursor?

Im trying to do an update to a table.
I have a set of rows fetched in a cursor. Now i loop through the cursor and update a field in the table.
for certain condition alone i need to fetch the previous value in the cursor and update the table with that.
can anyone let me know if i can fetch the previous and next value of a cursor for this DML operation?

How to get key and text value of field "TNDRST" in VTTK from R/3 into BI

There is one field call "TNDRST(Tender Status)" in SAP table VTTK in R/3. We can find key value, but we are unable to find text for this field in VTTK. However we can see text value if we double click domain:TNDRST and go to value range.
Questions, how to get key value and text of TNDRST together in BI. Do we need to create a master data source for TNDRST text information in R/3 and extracting into BI, if yes, how to? Are there any easy way to do it??

You need to create a generic Text Datasource to extract this information into BI System.
1. Create a generic DS based on Table: DD07T
2. The fields should be put in the extract structure.
          DOMNAME (Make this as Selection in the DS ) -
Filter the Domain Name
          DOMVALUE_L -
Key Value of Tender Status
          DDTEXT -
Text / Description
          DDLANGUAGE -
Language
3. DD07T is the table with all the Domain names & their values, so in the Infopackage enter the Selection Value for DOMNAME as 'TNDRST' and then run it.
Or you can create a view out of this table based on DOMNAME filter as 'TNDRST'.

I got an ArrayList numbers that contains the following....
[4,5,4,3,3,4,4,3,6,5]
How do I go through the ArrayList numbers, such that I can get the
minimum value and it's index number in the arrayList?
For example, the above arrayList got three min number of 3, I will
get either one of the 3 and also get it's index of 3, 4 or 7.
The ArrayList number can have another number of records inside it.

How to check old and new value for a text item attached to a lov?

I am new to Forms.
I need your help in following.
I have a form which has a text item which is attached to a LOV. I want to track what changes are being done using that form. So i want to know what was old value and what is new value.
I can get the new value as it is there in form field. how can i know what was the old value.

This is wrong:
name_in(':' ||l_audit_block.field_name)
this is right and will get you the current value of the the item:
name_in('l_audit_block.field_name');
Assuming the name of you block is "l_audit_block" and the name of your item is "field_name".
Please note name_in() returns your current value for an item. In your case this may or may not be the "old" value. I define "old" value as the value it was when it was queried. If that is what you are looking for you need to use the get_item_property() call that Steve described above.

I try to view a variable in sql plus command line and oracle xe object browser. The following is a small code to assign a value to a variable from an existing column name id that has value 4567 from table airplane. I'm a newbie, so pardon my ignorance:

you use variable command to declare my_var as a global variableActually Toon used a BIND variable in his example, see:

Is this a SQL or PL/SQL command? Bind variables can (should) be used by SQL*Plus and in PL/SQL.

I created one event alert in Oracle Apps on PER_ALL_PEOPLE_F table.My intention is to execute the concurrent program attached to the alert when the user changes last_name fileld of that table.How can i get the :new.last_name and :old.last_name in alert.

As I aware of there is not concept of :old vs :new in alert. since you change last_name which mean it is an update instead of correction then you can get the new effective start_date and do minus - 1 to get the previouse record effective end_date and using that you can get the old last name.

How to get field and variable value in oracle

I'm finding very difficulty to get a field value.. In oracle 11i form there is a field name called total accured and it has value 519.. but i'm not able get this .i search in all tables so iwent to help--> tools-->examine--(diagnostic)-->
i get Block :'XYZ' field: "Balance" and value:'519' and search in table shown in help.
Please can anyone help me to get this field and it's value. it is in HRMS.

It may be a derived / calculated field, which is why you might not be finding it in a table.
For information on the last query run (may give a clue) do help -> examine, then change block to "SYSTEM" and Field to "LAST_QUERY".
Also, Help -> Record History will show you the table or view that the data comes from. May also lead to a clue.And this is what is mentioned in the doc referenced above.
