Hi Friends.
Now i have Created a New File and that By Using that File i Wrote Few Records from the DataBase into That file. Let us take CSV File, Ok, Now i want to Open this File Automatically and show the content to the User After The writing operation Done in the File. That is when all the records from the Database table has been wirtten into the CSV File this file should be Opened Automatically and shown to the User.
Please give me some suggestion to do this

basic tools you need to read a CSV file are:
- BufferedReader+FileReader, to read the file
- StringTokenizer, to split the lines
- Possibly a JTable if you want a matrix representation of the result

I am a newer to Java Web Start. I found that in the Notepad Demo, when user try to open or save file, a message box appear and give the user some security suggestions.
In my application, I used a JFileChooser and set the <security> element to <j2ee-application-client-permissions/> in the jnlp file. But the application will thow an exception:
access denied (java.io.FilePermission C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\desktop\Java Web Start.lnk read)
Can someone tell me how to solve this problem. By the way, where can I find the source of the Notepad Demo. I want my application to open and save file just like the Notepad Demo do.

The Notpad demo uses the JNLP api to read and write files. The api doc can be found at:

These are two components of a MenuHandler class. The problem with this code is that in the text editor window, even if the Open button is pressed the file I want to open isn't displayed. Although the System.err (I think that's what it is called) says:
Open ... has been selected
Exited filedialog.setVisible(true);
Open file = tutorial_01.rtf
Open directory = C:\dhruba\epgy_2006\tutorial\
Save ... has been selected
Exited filedialog.setVisible(true);
Save file = test.txt
Save directory = C:\dhruba\epgy_2006\tutorial\
How can I actually display the file I want to open, or save some text I've written?

HOW TO OPEN AND SAVE FILES TO/FOR MS-WORD 2007 .docx format

MS-Office 2007 will open .docx files as well as .doc files. Apple's Pages '08 can OPEN MS Word 2007 documents with the new file format ".docx". Pages '08 can not save as ".docx" files, just ".doc" files, but since MS Office 2007 can open these ".doc" without a problem, you should be covered.
Here is how.
To open: Just double click the file and Apple's Pages '08 will import the file and open it for you to use and modify.
To save and use at your work or school's Windows MS Word 2007: When you are done and ready to save the file, go to FILE in the menu bar in Pages '08 and select EXPORT. Then pick the icon DOC WORD and click NEXT. Then in the SAVE AS box, give it a name and tell where you want to save your file to. Click EXPORT. Export is like Save, as it will now save the file where you told it to save it to. Remember you can use the same name, or give it a new name. Thats it. EASY.
It will save the file in a Windows Word format of ".doc" that MS Word 2007 can open and use.

How to open and XML file?

Does anyone have a way on Mac to open an XML file for viewing. This can be done with WIN Excel and XML toolkit but doesn't exist for Mac Excel in Office 2008. I can open with TextEdit but would like to see the info with headers and cells without all the XML coding. Numbers 09 can't open it at all.

Numbers uses XML to build the description of the documents but it's not an XML editor.
A simple search in Google with the intricate key string xml editor AND mac return numerous interesting links.

Well, to answer your first question, you've added an event listener, but you haven't actually added the button itself.

Use JDeveloper to import the mwp project .In Jdeveloper,File->Import->ToplinkWorkbench->Select the .mwp file and can work from JDeveloper in editing the tlmap.xml and session.xml.

First step would be to make yourself familiar with InDesign desktop version.
Whatever you intend to achieve, do it there manually. (see regular app docs or forums)
Then try to automate your steps with scripting (see scripting docs or forum)
If you can do it with a script in the desktop version, that script will likely also run in ID Server. (see server forum).
If you can specify missing features not achievable thru scripting or manual use, reconsider to write a plugin (this forum).
A seasoned C++ programmer will need a few months to learn the basics, wade thru tons of documentation etc. Alternatively consider to hire a consultant to do the development work for you.

A .exe file is a Windows executable. OS X does not run Windows programs. If you need to use .exe files then you will need to install Windows on your Mac:
Windows on Intel Macs
There are presently several alternatives for running Windows on Intel Macs.
Install the Apple Boot Camp software. Purchase Windows XP w/Service Pak2, Vista, or Windows 7. Follow instructions in the Boot Camp documentation on installation of Boot Camp, creating Driver CD, and installing Windows. Boot Camp enables you to boot the computer into OS X or Windows.
Parallels Desktop for Mac and Windows XP, Vista Business, Vista Ultimate, or Windows 7. Parallels is software virtualization that enables running Windows concurrently with OS X.

CrossOver which enables running many Windows applications without having to install Windows. The Windows applications can run concurrently with OS X.
VirtualBox is a new Open Source freeware virtual machine such as VM Fusion and Parallels that was developed by Solaris. It is not as fully developed for the Mac as Parallels and VM Fusion.
Note that Parallels and VM Fusion can also run other operating systems such as Linux, Unix, OS/2, Solaris, etc. There are performance differences between dual-boot systems and virtualization. The latter tend to be a little slower (not much) and do not provide the video performance of the dual-boot system. You CAN'T download published files and then edit them in iWeb because iWeb can't open them - it has no import facility so is unable to open any html or css files - a previously published site.
You can download these files yes, but you'll need to use them as a guide or to cut and paste text from there whilst you re-build your site in iWeb.
The only other way is to download the files and then open them with an html editor such as TextWrangler or use one of the other web design programmes out there that is capable of importing html and css such as Dreamweaver of Flux 4.
These are your only alternatives as iWeb can't import and if you want to continue to use iWeb, then you'll have to re-build your site from scratch. If you do just remember to back up your domain.sites file this time around - it is found under your User/Library/Applicaion Support/iWeb/domain.sites.

To achieve these are the steps that I had followed :
1. Add the document Library path into Central Admin -> Application Mgmt -> Manage Service App -> Excel Service App -> Trusted File Locations
2. Add Documnet Library link to Trusted Connection Proivder
3. Open Visual Studio as Run as Administrator
4.Create an SharePoint 2013 Empty Project.
5.Add Service Reference : http:\\<server>\_vti_bin/excelservice.asmx
6.Service added successfully
7.Create a class file and add the Service Reference namespace
There is no such class as ExcelService to call.
Please let me know if somebody knows how to open the Excel file into C#(2012) either using ExcelService or any other way to open. I tried old methods of Sharepoint 2010 server but it's not able to access classes.
Requirement is :
Need to read the excel sheet from Document Library and transfer all data into DataTable.
Please help asap.

How to open a .MAT file in LABVIEW

Hey everyone,
I currently have a .MAT image file which I would like to open in LABVIEW to apply some image filters. However, I am unsure as to how to open the .MAT file in LABVIEW. Ideally I would like to be able to open the .MAT file without using matlab, and it seems the only way to accomplish this task is through the mathscript node. I have attached an example of the image im trying to open, as well as the LABVIEW program which I would like to use on the image. Thanks for the feedback! =]
