Run servlet once, then get a bind error

running Solaris 2.6 iAS- 6.0sp3 iPlanet webserver 6.0 sp1
I can run my servlet (which calls an Ejb) once through a browser front end
..... all subsequent calls fail as follows:
Error (0x3 0x0 0x0 0x80240011):
BIND step: could not bind to {E8836A8D-C104-1BB0-9C08-080020E7571D}
The GUID here is referring to the servlet. Once the app server is bounced,
one call will work and then all others fail with a bind error.
Does anyone know how to fix this?

Hi,Is it happening for the all the subsequent requests or periodically is it giving the output. If periodically it is giving the output, have you configured any iAS cluster with round robin load balancing. Sorry guys, I don't see how to reply to you so I use reply to "me" basically.
So the error I get is "volume header needs minor repair" and then you need to perform repair from the installation disk message.
I did repair not verify from the disk twice. Every time ending in the "the volume had ha been successfully repaired". Then I reboot from the internal disk. Run disk utilities from it, do verify and get the same error message I got before repair. I hope this can shed some light fr you guys. Sorry I didn't include details in the original
MEssage.

Please suggest how to solve the problem.

I have check there is Switch of operation mode but when I have checked the t-code sm63 there is no new mode are in normal mode.

In my experience it usually happens when one of my sub VIs is trying to open
a file and can't find it. (We don't use the NI-488 boards, so for us, the
error is due to a problem opening a file. If you are using GPIB boards, the
problem might be due to a missing GPIB board.)

The supported JBoss version for 10.1.2 is JBoss EAP 5.1.2 but I don't think that your issue is caused because of this. Your issue is more of an environmental thing as you are probably getting two different versions getting loaded of class javax.servlet.http.HttpServletRequest and so correspondingly two different Class objects as the error shows. One reason for this could be if you include any server-specific libraries (in present case the Servlet API JAR which contains the class javax.servlet.http.HttpServletRequest) of a different version in the /WEB-INF/lib of your web application. Try removing it from there if so and see if that helps.

How do I run a servlet once per session? That is, whenever a user visits my website by typing www.sitename.com and before the default page is displayed.

You could try one of the following, depending on your webserver:
1. change the default page to the URL of the servlet you want to run
2. map your / (document root) to the servlet
The first choice is probably preferable/easier.

When I export into PowerPoint the dashboard will only run one time... I then need to goto properties and find "play" and change from "false" to "true". I found a website that stated "Note: we've recently discovered that if the flash movie is scripted to stop
playing rather than loop or repeat then this command appears to be passed to
PowerPoint - this results in the play command being reset to false. The simple
solution (if you've got the source flash file) is to remove the offending command,
alternatively you'll have to save the presentation with play set to true and
not run it again until ready to present - it'll only run once and will need
resetting before it'll work again!" How do I send out a PowerPoint that would allow the person I would email the presentation to run the slide show and interact with the dashboard if it doesn't initiate without manual intervention.

I assume this is with X2008? BTW. Right-clicking on the flash and choosing 'play' should also work. This is an Adobe issue. They have increased the security on the use of flash files. They are afraid of malicious use and viruses so they now require manual intervention. You could contact Adobe and let them know how this security feature is affecting you. Xcelsius is also currently in talks with them. - Andy

From SAP WAS 6.10, SAP directly supports SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol). This means that the emails can be exchanged directly between SAP system and any SMTP compliant mail server. From SAP WAS 6.20, faxes, pager & SMS can also be exchanged via SMTP.
Goto transaction SCOT.
Goto menu View -> Node
Click on SMTP node for the settings of INT
Maintain Node
Description : FAX Server
SMTP connection
give Mail Host & Mail port
in Supported address type : select SET as FAX
and give address over there ***** you want to send FAX

I get a message from windows saying i have to verify this program? i just downloaded other things and it worked? what is going wrong?

What's the precise text of the message, please, chardy? (There's a few different ones I can think of that you might be getting.)

Loading itunes on computer that is does not have interenet access. have itunes setup on jump drive. tried to run on computer and get the following error - "itunes64setup.exe is not a valid Win32 application"

"itunes64setup.exe is not a valid WIN32 application"

That suggests the installer got damaged when being downloaded to the computer that did have internet access.
I'd first try downloading an installer from the Apple website using a different web browser (on the computer with internet access):

If you use Firefox instead of IE for the download (or vice versa), do you get a working installer?
