How to Park or place PO as on-hold using BAPI_PO_CREATE1

Hi Gurus:
I am using BAPI_PO_CREATE1 to create a PO from a custom developed Java application.
The business is requesting that the PO should be Parked or put in the On_Hold status because they may not have all the requisite information at the time of creating the PO. The idea is to get a PO number even though all the information is not yet available.
After getting all the required information, the buyer will go through the SAP GUI to update and create the PO from the Parked PO.
Is there a flag in the BAPI BAPI_PO_CREATE1 that can be used to Park the PO?

Thank you very much for your response. I am not trying to mark a line item as deleted or lock a line item.
The requirement is to be able to create a PO and park it or keep it on hold status when all the information is not available - yet get a PO number for some other purpose.
I know we can park a requisition and a PO but am not aware of how this can be accomplished when using the BAPI BAPI_PO_CREATE1.

    Please confirm if my understanding is correct, discovery manager should be able to place a mailbox on hold as well as in-place hold using EAC.

    Does "Get-RoleGroup "discovery Management" | FL *role*" show that the Legal Hold role is assigned to the Discovery Mgmt role Group? If so, then  you may need to assign the "Recipient Management" or "Help Desk" role to those users as well or if you wish
    to security trim their access, create a customized RBAC role for them.
    Alternatively, see if they can simply set litigation hold via Powershell with set-mailbox

    I've solved the problem with passing the parameter no_rounding into the BAPI.

    Thanks for your reply. Fyi, I've applied employee limitation to post manual journal at tcode OBA4 and OB57.
    User A : >100K - 500K
    User B : >500K - 1 MILL (Asst. Manager)
    User C : >1 MILL (Manager)
    Normally user A will park all the journals but after apllied the limitation, user A only can park for the journal (normal tcode F-02 or other tcode) which not more than 500K. The limitation affect the park as well.
    Alternative for tcode F-02:
    User A : Park doc at FB50 (any amount) and post at tcode FBV0 by other user. There's no park or post with reference.
    User request to park with reference.. Any idea?

    ur first question is not understood, You can have maximum of 3 decimals in BOM item qty.
    Base qty is the qty which is refered to all the BOM items.
    example -
    Product X, base qty 1
    Raw material 1 - componen t qty= 1
    Raw material 2 - Component qty= 5
    This means To produce Product with qty1, it needs raw material 1 qty 1  and raw material 2 qty 5.
    This means To produce Product with qty10, it needs raw material 1 qty 10  and raw material 2 qty 50.
    This is the meaning of Base qty..it is the referece qty refered to all the components.
    About the decimal places
    let us say  example 2
    To produce Product with qty1, it needs raw material 1 qty 1  and raw material 2 qty .0001.
    When you enter this in SAP for the raw materialm 2 system will give error message that you  need to enter the qty with maximum 3 decimal places, hence you need to enter as below
    Product with qty10, it needs raw material 1 qty 10  and raw material 2 qty .001.
    This is how you need to adjsut the base qty and component qty with decimalplaces moer than 3,

    There is a "Place..." item in  "File -> ...". If we can click on "Place...",  "Place" dialog will open and asks for .ai file to place the whatever the art is there in that file in the current document. Right.
    Now what I want is, if I click on one of the button in my plugin UI, "Place" dialog will open and art will be drawn in the current document.
    I looked into the API documentation and found AIPlacedSuite::ExecPlaceRequest( ) function, but no use.
    How can I open "Place" dialog from my plugin?

    The SDK does not provide any calls to open the Place dialog directly.
    You have a few potential solutiuons, however.
    A. Implement your own file dialog box, and use the Place suite. Which I think is perhaps the most elegant solution.
    B. Programitcally create an action that opens the Place dialog. You can record an action that does this to see what file would have to be written (see "Insert Menu Item..." then type "Place", enter while recording). Then you could call the action with the Action suite.
    C. The dialog could be opened using the scripting capabilites (for instance AppleScript). Your program could then write/call the AppleScript. I know it can be done with AppleScript, and I suspect other scripting languages such as Java might be able to do it.

    In Elements Organizer 12, I think I accidentally created a "place" on the map that I do not want to apply to any photos.  When I try to do conduct an advanced search, the place is appearing as a checkbox.  I do not want this place to show up in the search field, as we have never been there.  How do I remove places that are not associated with any photos?

    If you are accessing emails from multiple devices, you are better off using the IMAP protocol. Then the devices sync with the server and they are all looking at the same information. With POP, you are going to get your emails spread about, some on Outlook, some on the iPad. It could get very confusing.

    You can't make an entry directly to production server.
    You have to make the changes in Dev server then transport it to production server.
    Try the follow path

    Hi Raynaju,
    Business place is an organizational unit and  it below company code level that is primarily used for reporting taxes on sales/purchases.
    For that no need to go for validation.Go to the field status and give the Business place & Section Code as required fields.
    There is a option in SAP as Document change rules.There give the company code,field name and account type
    Now you can change the fileds in posted document itself.

    Hi Bhanu,
    Use T.Code GGB0 - Validation maintenance - Change Validation overview.
    Choose Financial Accounting in Application area. Select Line Item and click Validation create icon.
    Give a Validation ID BP and text Business Place Mandatory and save.
    Click Step icon - Step 01 - now the prerequisites; check and message will come in margin panel.
    Give text for the step 01. Click Prerequisites. You can see the Table Fields  Structure BKPF, BSEG, and SYST.
    If you double click on this you view individual fields relating to these master tables.
    Your prerequisite may be like this :
    Company Code is = XYZ ; T.Code = MIRO & F-43; Posting key = 31 ( Credit Vendor)
    Double click BKPF > double click  BKPF-BUKRS>  click "=" >  click constant > a pop up box will open
    here fill up your company Code XYZ.  This will automatically come in the top box.  Click "AND". Now  there is a back arrow
    button in the table field panel and come back to the original display of master tables.  Here double click SYST
    Click SYST-TCODE > click "=" > click Constant > in the pop up box enter tcode MIRO. If you want to add F-43,
    you have to click "AND" after this and repeate SYST-TCODE = F-43. Now click back arrow and double click BSEG and
    click BSEG-BSCHL > Click "=" > Click Constant > in the popup window enter 31 and save the prerequisites.
    (For the above requisites, the system will check if  Business Place is 1000 is filled up during transaction and if not it has to
    give a error message.)
    Now Click Check in the right margin below prerequisites menu. Again the table list will be seen with BKPF, BSEG and SYST
    Double click BSEG > click BSEG-BUPLA > Click "=" > Click constant and in the pop up box fill the business place 1000 and save
    the check menu.
    In the right margin now double click message.  Here you can create a message text of your own "Business Place mandatory"
    Save the Message and come back and finally save the Validation so created.
    Now use T.Code OB28 and enter your Company Code > give call point 2 > and Activation level 1 and save the entries.
    Now you can check for the transaction in MIRO where without filling the Business Place field you cannot save the entries.
