Can we pass arraylist through URL using params.put ?
If so then how to access each value?..because pageContext.getParameter with return string...
Any other method can we use ?

url-invoke-allowed is only required if the task flow itself is directly accessible from a browser (which is not the case at all if the task flow uses page fragments). To pass input parameters to a task flow that is embedded in a region and that has input parameters, you define the input parameters on the taskFlow Id that is created in the PageDef file of the containing page. To learn ADF task flows, have a look at the videos below. They also contain a sample for passing parameters to a region

I'm sorry if this question already exist anywhere in forum i didnt found it.
so my question is:
CAN I PASS PARAMETER VIA URL TO REPORT USING WEBFORM
i don have RAS(Because in beta version of 2008 is this not included)

so But both doesnt work!
OR it is necessery to have RAS to pass parameters through url

URL reporting and RAS are not available with CR2008. To view reports over the web you will need to use the Crsytal Reports for .NET runtime engine inside a .NET app. This engine is licensed with CR 2008.

I have problem to launch jar (swing application) through url.I know that i can do it with the help of jnlp but i m unable to find out the procedure to create jnlp. I tried hard to sign the jar which is the step of creating jnlp but i got exception and keystroke file is not created so plz help me so that i launch my jar file by clicking on url.

It is more simpler to use the App integrator to integrate web applications into the Portal than create a URL iView and the pass the parameter. Because in case of a URL iView you will need to define an HTTP System to Pass your parameters but then it doesnt seem to work even if the URL paarmeters are specified.
You will find the .PAR file that can be used as thesystem template as well as the document for using the App Integrator from the link provided by Praveen.
Download the File and import the .PAR file into your portal (go to System Administration -> Support -> Portal Runtime -> Administration Console -> Archive Uploader and upload the .PAR file). Create a system based on this template as mentioned in the Document and create the iView based on this System.

Passing parameters through URL in ADF Application with UIShell

JDeveloper Studio Edition Version 11.1.1.6.0
The UI in our application is developed with UIShell pageTemplate.
We have a Home page created with PageTemplace "UIShell.jspx" and this page is placed as a view in adfc-config.xml (the Unbounded Task Flow).
The other pages for our application are created using Page Fragments and these pages are called from Home_taskmenu.xml through Bounded task flows.
With this setting, the URL(after SignIn) will look like,
http://localhost:7101/OperationalPlanning/faces/Home?_afrWindowMode=0&_adf.no-new-window-redirect=true&_afrLoop=6811862222491857&_adf.ctrl-state=29wus7giw_19
We have a requirement to build the URL which should open a Page Fragment directly after Signing In to the application. And we have a id to be passed as a parameter, so it should open the page fragment with the details based on the id value that we pass.
The parameters are already registered in the Bounded Task Flow(which has the page fragment) and I could open in the "localArea" using a link in the Home Page.
Now, I want to directly launch the Bounded task flow by passing a parameter, so that it opens the Page Fragment as a tab once we signIn.
Let me know if there is any solution for this requirement.
If there is any document to follow for this kind of requirement in an application which is created using the UIShell, please let me know.

Thanks for the response. We followed your suggestion and managed to capture URL parameters in afterPhase(LifeCycle.PREPARE_MODEL) and save parameters to ViewScope.
Then in beforePhase(LifeCycle.PREPARE_RENDER), we retrieve parameters back and invoke FndUIController.openMainTask method to launch the correponding taskflow but nothing happens.

How to pass arraylist of object from action class to jsp and display in jsp

I need to do the following using struts
I have input jsp, action class and action form associated to that. In the action class I will generate the sql based on the input from jsp page/action form, create a result set. The result set is stored as java objects in a ArrayList object.
Now I need to pass the arraylist object to another jsp to display. Can I put the ArrayList object in the request object and pass to the success page defined for the action? If this approach is not apprpriate, please let me know correct approach.
if this method is okay, how can I access the objects from arraylist in jsp and display their property in jsp. This java object is a java bean ( getter and setter methods on it).

Pass value through URL without setting local page item

Folks,
I have a table where I have created a dummy column with a hyperlink on it to go to another page in the application which runs a report passing through columns on the table
As I am doing this several times (for different pages in my application) - Is there a way of passing a variable through a URL to a report without setting a local variable
i.e.
Click Here
Here I am assigning a local variable on Page 25 which is hidden called P25_TEST1
What I would like to do is pass the value straight to page 25 (which runs the report) without the need to create hidden items on the report pages all the while

SerA calls serB using redirect URL (in specified path below) at some action.
SICF->service ->errorpage->LOGOFFpage-> RedirectURL.
SerB have a transaction code which holds a screen and a pushbutton in the screen.
While calling serB i want to press the push button , by passing the okcode with the URL.

it doesn't work .

How to user Drill through URL ?!

We are on EPM 11.1.2.1 3 tiers production servers .
We applied ERPi path 11.1.2.1.501 with ODI 11.1.1.5 . Integration between ERPi , Hyperion planning and EBS R12
Everything is working OK . When I loaded data and enabled drill thought .
When I navigate to data form to drill through loaded data , Drill though url is empty !!!!!
I read something at ERPi document that Drill though url must not be in this format http://<servername><port>
Do you have any solution for my problem ?!!!!

I want to call report in my APEX application.
I can get it run like this :
http://hostname:port/reports/rwservlet?module=invoice.rdf&userid=oe/oe@tnsalias&destype=cache&desformat=pdf But showing the userid in the url would have serious security problem.
How could I configure the report to set the default userid, so that I don't need to define that in the url ?
And is there any way to integrate this authorization with my APEX application ?
