How to perform converstaion implementation using JAX-WS

Dears;
I have two products which comunicate by using web services, Application 'A' sends to Application 'B', the current implementaion is that this web method accepts three parameter: Username, password, and the data payload as a third parameter.
The data is sent every 4-5 hours by invoking this method 100-120 times and then after antoher 4-5 hours it sends the updataed data again. My Q is that hwo I can modify this design to make Application 'A' sends the credentials data user name and password (the first two parameters) only at the begining of the sumiting data and then after confimratin it starts send the data again (100-120 data items), instead of sending username and password for each invocation for each single data item.
for example, how to make the communication statefull or if you have any idea pleas contribute !
Thanks for you

The location API is part of the J2ME and it is dependent on the mobile device if the API is available or not. If you want to see the code for JSR-179 just download the Sun Java Wireless Tookit.

    Yours,
    Frustrated

    Well, how an attachment is processed depends on your application logic...if your application logic requires to processing attachments and verify it before processing the SOAP message, handlers could be better option.
    If you need to process the attachment while processing the SOAP message, you can do it in the service implementation class.
    In both the cases you need to get access to SOAPMessage object and from there get the attachments with getAttachments method.

  • How to perform system copy using standard sap method (sapinst)

    Hi guys
    pls tel how to perform system copy using standard sap method (sapinst) and to perform enterprise portal RESTORSTION.
    thanks
    kamal

    Hi Kamal,
    I have done a system copy of the production portal to a sandpit system before. The system copy export import method works very well, and is easy. For my portal, the whole procedure took me less than 6 hours.
    1. Go to this page: System Copy and Migration
    2. See the videos "Demo: How to Perform a System Copy Export" and "Demo: How to Perform a System Copy Import".
    This should give you the basic idea.
    I did a systemcopy using sapinst. If I remember right, this is the steps I performed:
    1. On target host, Installed a new Central services.
    2. On source host: Ran sapinst system copy export for Central Instance and Database instance. This created two export files (depending on your database size).
    3. Used the export files created in previous step to run the import step in target host.
    4. Some post processing steps, like configuring sso, creating systems in system landscapes, configuring WD JCos etc.
    Let me know if you need more help.
    Cheers

    To check activity status of the enhancement ID, function module 'Z_CC_CHECK_ENH_ACTIVE'  is used.
    When the enhancement id is active everything should be Auto Save.

    Hi,
    firstly there are two threads for the same issue from youself(excluding this one) which is a waste of others time so kindly refrain from doing so and use one thread.
    OWB: how can automatic updation  perform in staging database using OWB
    OWB: how to use insert/update table operator for target table
    secondly, with regards to the options , here are some options:
    1. Use trigger for update.
    2. Use materialized view(refresh on commit)
    3. Use oracle advance queing mechanism (OAQ) for queing the recent inserted/updated records.
    Kindly close other threads and maintain just one thread.

  • How to Perform Loose Routing using Proxy?

    Dear all,
    It seems that proxyTo() changes the Request-URI of the SIP message. How can I proxyTo() the next hop without changing the Request-URI?
    Proxy p;
    p.proxyTo(nextHop);

    you could push a route using the following SipServlet API on the SipServletRequest:
    public void pushRoute(SipURI uri)
    If the sipURI has a lr parameter, WLSS will perform loose routing automatically.
    This will add a Route header to the req with the value you have provided and send the req to that hop.
    cheers,

  • How can I throw exceptions using JAX-WS 2.0?

    I have been using NetBeans5.5 to develop a web service from a WSDL i.e. I write the XSD and WSDL first then generate the web service code in NetBeans5.5. How can I throw an exception so that details of the exception will be contained within the SOAP xml response? For example:
    <soapenv:Body>
            <soapenv:Fault xmlns:soapenv="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/">
                   <faultcode>MyFaultCode</faultcode>
                   <faultstring>MyFaultString</faultstring>
            </soapenv:Fault>
    </soapenv:Body>In the above sample message FaultCode and FaultString would be something that I can specify, perhaps the contents of another caught exception. I really need to have some way to display meaningful data to anyone which consumes this web service and where an exception occurs.

    You can throw a javax.xml.ws.soap.SOAPFaultException. https://jax-ws.dev.java.net/nonav/jax-ws-20-fcs/api/javax/xml/ws/soap/SOAPFaultException.html

  • How to perform merge operation using Data services designer?

    I am new here and new to Data Services Desinger as well.
    And currently, I want to do a merge operation using query transform or table comparison transform. But sadly, neither one of them is giving me what I want.
    So, wonder if you could help clarify if either one of them could achieve MERGE operation between and source and target tables?
    if positive, then how?
    PS:
    by MERGE, i mean, if data exists in target table, then only do update, else, do insert. same with the standard MERGE operation of oracle.
    If you need any more info, let me know!
    Thanks in advance.

    You can do this.
    You don't need the Tabe_Comparison transform actually.
    Just query the data you need and output the flow from your query to your target table.
    Then, you'll have to check the "Auto correct load" option: this will insert new lines and updates old ones. One checked, you can ckeck the "Auto correct load" checkbox.
    By default, BODS will know a line already exists based uppon the primary key columns of your target table. If you want to change the columns used to determine if a line should be inserted or updated, use the "Use input key" checkbox (and define some PK column in your query).
    Hope this helps
    Guillaume

  • How do I change the content-type in http header when using JAX-WS?

    I need to change Content-Type in http Header. I am using JAX-WS to invoke web service call. Can someone tell me how to do it? Thanks a lot!

    LabVIEW does so many wonderful things, but the inability to perform what should be a simple task, such as upgrade a RT chassis within a LV Project, bewilders me. This is going to cost me hours, I just know it...
    Is there anything on the Idea Exchange for this?? A quick search shows nothing, so maybe I'll add an entry.

  • How to Implement Async JAX-WS 2.1 Service

    I would appreciate some guidance, or links to documentation, on how to implement an asynchronous JAX-WS 2.1 web service (note that I am NOT asking how to implement a client program that invokes a JAX-WS web service asynchronously b/c BPEL will be invoking the service).
    Ultimately, what I need to accomplish is to:
    (a) implement a JAX-WS web service that can be invoked asynchronously
    (b) deploy that JAX-WS web service to Oracle WebLogic 10.3 and
    (c) invoke the JAX-WS web service asynchronously from Oracle BPEL Process Manager 10.1.3.3.
    As an example, let's say I have the following class that I'd like to expose as an async JAX-WS web service:
    <pre>
    public class EngineConfigurationService
    public Configuration configureEngine(ConfigurationRequest aRequest)
    //....arbitrary amounts of long-running computation happens here...
    return configuration;
    </pre>
    How would I annotate this class to allow it to be consumed as an async JAX-WS web service? Would I need any other classes (e.g., a "response" class)?
    Thanks in advance for any help.
    Dave

    I recently developed a test async web service and deployed it on weblogic 9. What I did was 1.) create a java class with with standard ws annotations.
    2.)Compile it using jwsc ant task setting the attribute enableAsyncService="true".
    I am pasting the java file and the ant target here for your reference.
    <taskdef name="jwsc" classname="weblogic.wsee.tools.anttasks.JwscTask" classpathref="classpath.basic"/>
    <target name="buildWebService">
         <jwsc
         srcdir="${basedir}/src/com/test/"
         sourcepath="${basedir}/src/com/test/"
         destdir="${basedir}/build"
         classpathref="classpath.basic"
         keepGenerated="true"
         enableAsyncService="true"
         debug="on">
         <module contextPath="TestAsyncWS" name="TestAsyncWS" explode="false" >
              <jws file="TestAsyncWS.java">
         <WLHttpTransport contextPath="TestAsyncWS" serviceUri="TestAsyncWS" portName="TestAsyncWS" />
         </jws>
         <FileSet dir="${basedir}/src" >
         <include name="**/*.java" />
         </FileSet>
         </module>
              </jwsc>
         </target>
    and here is the java class
    package com.test;
    import javax.jws.WebMethod;
    import javax.jws.WebService;
    import javax.jws.soap.SOAPBinding;
    @WebService (name = "TestAsyncWS", targetNamespace = "java:com.test")
    public class TestAsyncWS
         public TestAsyncWS()
         @WebMethod()
              public String sayHello(String textToDisplay)
              String result = "I can still work.Here is what you sent to me. "+ textToDisplay;
              System.out.println(result);
              try {
                   Thread.sleep(20000);
              } catch (InterruptedException e) {
                   e.printStackTrace();
              return result;

  • How to perform calculations using column data in BI Publisher

    Hello guys
    I am very new to BIP, and recently I am learning to create new templates using XML files..
    I am trying to create a report that has Account Amount, Amount Net Amount, PM_Amount and a New field say "X"
    For Account Amount it is what it is, but for Net Amount it is "Account Amount/40%", for PM_Amount it is "Net Amount x (Account Amount/30)" and for field X it is "(Net Amount + PM_Amount)/column A" where column A is another data field in the XML file but it should not be included in the template report..
    Could anyone help me with how to perform such kind of calculations in BIP Template builder? In OBIEE, it is very easy that I can just use column formula, but in BIP I still haven't figure out the way yet..
    PLease advice
    Thanks

    Thanks for the reply..
    I looked at the link you provided already, what I wanna know is how to exactly apply the expression in my calculation. In other words, I know that Column C = "Column A div Column B", but in BIP form property, how do I actually substitue "column A" with the actual column..
    I wish I could post the XML, but it is huge, it contains 6 data sets and more than 100 columns. I only need 15 columns on my template.
    On the form property of each measures, in the "advance tab", I see codes like <?accountamount?>. Now I wanna have a new column said "PM_Amt" which should be "(accountamount div %40) x column B". So I just randomly select another column said "payment". I rename it to "PM_AMT" and on its "advanced tab" it is still <?payment?>. So right there, if I wanna replace that code with a new one that does "(accountamount div %40) x column B" calculation, how would I do it? What would be the syntax including how to propertly refer to the right column field as part of the expression?
    And do I have to always use xdofx between <>? how would I know?
    Please advice if you understood what I am trying to say
    Much thanks

    the first MTI record should be the source record ...ie. it should have transaction quantity as negative.
    new set of MTI records should have positive transaction quantities.
    Also ensure that sum of transaction quantities for the set should be 0...
    What is the error that you are getting?
    Thanks,

  • How to use Oracle BIP Webservices using JAX-WS

    Hi everyone,
    Has anyone trieed invoking BI publisher web services using JAX-WS. I tried with Apache Axis technology as per the documentation [http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E10415_01/doc/bi.1013/e10416/bip_webservice_101331.htm] and it worked fine but now I have to use JAX-WS. Also, anyone has ideas about which one is better to use Apache Axis or JAX-WS ? Can we create stub classes using JAX-WS simply by a command as in Axis ?
    export CLASSPATH="D:/bin/axis-1_4/lib/axis.jar;D:/bin/axis-1_4/lib/jaxrpc.jar;D:/bin/axis-1_4/lib/saaj.jar;D:/bin/axis-1_4/lib/commons-logging.jar;D:/bin/axis-1_4/lib/commons-discovery.jar;D:/bin/axis-1_4/lib/wsdl4j.jar"echo $CLASSPATH
    java org.apache.axis.wsdl.WSDL2Java PublicReportService.wsdl
    Please put some light in this regard
    Thanks
    -Sookie

    If your final goal is to use BIP Webservices, then I'd suggest you to use JDeveloper and
    create a webservice proxy client which is automatically created by Jdeveloper from the BIP WSDL xml file.
    In OBE there are a couple of examples how to obtain it.
    regards

  • How to performing calculations at workbook level using using VB / macros et

    HI All,
    I want to know about how to perform calculations at the work book level using VB/Macros..
    Request provide me links related to this .
    Manyt hanks in advance.

    Hi,
    Open the Excel workbook and press ALT + F11. VB editor opens and you can write your piece of code and name it as Auto_open if you need that macro to automatically run when you open excel.
    Second option is record macro, which will record the calculation and then call this macro everytime you need.
    Thanks,
    Tintu
