My internal table contains a field of length 255 characters.
I have a string variable. I need to populate the internal table from the string variable.
How should I code for this.

You take one final structure & final internal table, & within that structure take all the fields which is required to be displayed as a final output.
for data fetching from different table, you take three different structures & three internal table for that, because into corresponding fields of table is not good for performance wise. Use into table syntax.
follow the below example:(similarly)
sort it_klah by key fields.
LOOP AT IT_KSSK INTO WA_KSSK.
    READ TABLE IT_KLAH INTO WA_KLAH WITH KEY CLINT = WA_KSSK-CLINT
                                             KLART = WA_KSSK-KLART.
    IF SY-SUBRC EQ 0.
      MOVE: WA_KLAH-OBJEK to WA_final-OBJEK.
Read another table........(2nd one)
IF SY-SUBRC EQ 0.
      MOVE: ....................................
      APPEND WA_final TO IT_final.
    ENDIF.
clear wa_final.
ENDLOOP.
finally display it_final records.

Now from this dynamic internal table, i need to populate my final internal table whose structurte is fixed.

When you say dynamic internal table there are two things one is the actual structure and other one is field table that holds information for all the fields used to create dynamic internal table.
No if you want to move data from dynamic table to fixed internal table then you can try as follows:
1.
field-symbols <field_name> TYPE C.
field-symbols <field_value> TYPE C.
Now you either use
LOOP AT fields_itab.
ASSIGN fields_itab-fieldname to <field_name>.
ASSIGN COMPONENT <field_name> OF STRUCTURE <structure_name> TO <field_value>
Now you move value from <field_value> to required field in fixed internal table.
i.e.
itab-fieldname = <field_value>.
Other way to do this:
If you fields order is constant then you can also use index in assign component statement.
do <no_of_fields> times.
ASSIGN COMPONENT sy-index OF STRUCTURE <structure_name> TO <field_value>.
rest is same as first method.

I have an excel sheet, and i upload the excel sheet data into an internal IT_EXLOAD table using FM ALSM_EXCEL_TO_INTERNAL_TABLE
Now i created a dynamic internal table which has the same column as in my DB table.
I have to fill the dynamically created Internal table with the IT_EXLOAD data dynamically.
Suppose in future if i add some field in DB table and for that field if i add some column in excel sheet there is no need to change in the program.

How to transfer an internal table from one FUNCTION to another

Hi,
   In Normal Enabled Function, I have created an External Parameter as
     ZTEMP LIKE ZSTR. (ZSTR is a structure).
   In Source Code, am using an Internal Table(ZINT) which is of the same structure type.
I have populated the internal table. Now I have to export these internal table values to another function.
I tried to assign the internal table to the exporting parameter. But this shows error as ZTEMP is not an internal table.
   So, How to transfer this??
   Give me sample Code.

Thanks for ur reply. Actually I am a beginner. So I dint get u. Can u first clear me one doubt: If I give ZTEMP LIKE ZSTR as export parameter, will it create ZTEMP as a table with all fields as in ZSTR ( or ) ZTEMP itself as a structure???
Then How can I transfer the internal table using Import/Export?
   Actually FUNCTION1 is giving some input to FUNCTION2. FUNCTION2processes and stores the result in Internal Table. Now I have to export these internal table contents to FUNCTION1.
   How can I do this??

If I have understood your requirement correctly, you need to update an internal table with latest 'value_new' from cdpos table where 'fname' = 'fieldname' .
Hope the below logic will help you:

LOOP AT lt_intab ASSIGNING <wa_intab> .
   READ TABLE lt_cdpos INTO wa_cdpos           "lt_cdpos contains latest data selected from CDPOS

     <wa_intab>-value = wa_cdpos-value_new.

If you wish to improve performance, I suggest using
1. "transporting value_new" addition in READ TABLE,
2. select only the data which you require from CDPOS,
3. create the internal tables with only fields which you require,

I have one issue regarding the spool ,we are getting the correct output as per requirement of user but when we send the same to the user in pdf format they did notget the same.
they are telling that the due date is missing from the pdf.
Please advice me how to track the internal table for the spool data converted intopdf in a readable format.
the FM used for the above task is :

I know how to update database table from internal table in one shot (batch) but is the reverse possible? Can I update some fields in an internal table from a database table in one shot (without looping) because my internal table is huge? You can do it MAYBE , i think you can reverse the update doing a ROLLBACK, but only after you update....not after the program finishes..
To update some fields at once use:
UPDATE DBTABLE FROM TABLE IT_TABLE

Hi Bala,
If you want to pass this internal table between different methods of the same view then write the contents of this internal table to a context node of your view using BIND_TABLE. You can then read the contents of this internal table from the other method using the reference of that node & the GET_STATIC_ATTRIBUTES_TABLE method.
However if you want to pass the internal table between methods of different views then create a context node at the COMPONENTCONTROLLER level & then do a context mapping of this node to your local views context in both your views. You can follow the same BIND_TABLE & GET_STATIC_ATTRIBUTES_TABLE methods approach.
