How to populate "Expected (Design Steps)" in HP Quality Center Output

I am using UPK 3.6.1 Client version, and one of our uses is to export UPK topics to HP Quality Center output.
I see that there is a column titled "Expected (Design Steps) but it comes out blank. I'd like to add the expected result of each step to use in test script.
When I look at the ColumnSpec.xml file, it shows that this information is not coming from anywhere:
<header xml:id="ExpectedColHeader">Expected (Design Steps)</header>
<data repeat="yes" type="General" source="" />
Does anyone know of a field that I could re-purpose to populate that information?
Thank you.

On my OJ Pro 8600, When I go to print a # 10 envelope, it feeds the envelope through and then prints the address on a letter page.  I was forced to set the printer preferences to #10 envelope, and within Word, set the paper type to # 10 envelope, set Word up for center feed, and then put everything back to print normally.  ON my 6500 all I had to do was hit print.  There must be a way to print single envelopes without jumping through all these hoops!!

  • How to configure SolMan for interfacing with SAP Quality Center

    Hello everyone,
    Our company has only recently acquired and activated the permanent license for SAP Quality Center by HP. We would like QC to interface with SAP Solution Manager. My question is how to perform the configuration steps to make the interface work with Quality Center? I need to set up the IMG addon SM_QC_AD, which can be found under the transaction SPRO, but I need documentation on which steps to take and why.
    I am often referred to SAP note 1059350 and/or the configuration guide, but these only say that I should configure the IMG but not how.
    There is a SAP tutor available on the service marketplace, but I think it's rather uninformative.
    Can I find better documentation elsewhere?

    Hi ,
    [Configuration Guide SAP adapter for SAP Quality Center by HP|https://websmp101.sap-ag.de/~sapdownload/011000358700000612662007E/Adapter_Configuration_.pdf] might be useful.
    Check [Master guide|https://websmp201.sap-ag.de/~sapdownload/011000358700000612672007E/Adapter_Master_Guide.pdf]  also.

  • What are all the designing steps to make printable puzzles?

    The puzzles are usually the difficult task to perform.... While it is in printable form, how can add the designing steps to make it effective? Share your ideas....!

    I'm not sure how the pieces themselves are created ( i.e., number of pieces and their shapes ).  But, a die needs to be created in order to cut the pieces out of a thick card stock.  The picture itself is, obviously, a photograph that is printed on a coated sheet and laminated to the card stock.  So, the puzzle itself can be a layered Illustrator file with a Placed photograph.  Your die cut stamp needs to be on a separate layer.  Like that, see?

  • How to populate Java Beans List from the DB ?

    Hi,
    I have three tables called State,District and College.
    Assume, State table has fields statid,statename,statedescr
    District table has fields districtId,districtname,districtdescr and stateid
    College table has fields collegeid,collegename,collegedescr and districtid
    and all ids for the respective tables are primary keys .. and District and College tables have foriegn keys as expected...
    I want to send the whole information to the front end... I had designed three beans StateBean,DistrictBean and CollegeBean.. where all the three beans will have the related fiields and respective getter and setter methods like below
    StateBean -- stateid,stateName,stateDesc and DistrictBeanList
    DistrictBean -- districtid,districtName,districtDesc and CollegeBeanList
    CollegeBean -- collegeid,collegeName,collegeDesc
    I would like to have the JDBC code (any driver,any DB) so that I need to build one StateBeanList (collection of all the statebeans information) ... (like how to write the query to get the whole information from the DB and populate the same into one list..(Query or queries + resultset operation)
    I hope you understand my problem ...
    Please let me know if I have to be more clear...
    Thanks in Advance,
    Vidhya...

    Thanks Sachin,
    Atleast you understand something of my requirement..
    But Actually I want the logic like
    if the query is like
    select * from State
    while(rs.next) {
    StateBean object = new StateBean(); // StateBean
    object.yourcorrespondingsetter(rs.getString(1));
    object.yourcorrespondingsetter(rs.getString(2));
    object.yourcorrespondingsetter(rs.getString(3));
    object.setDistrictBeanList(districtbeanlistalreadypopulated); // how to populate the list of districtBeans list before ....
    listobject.add(object ); // object internally has to have districtBean list, so the district bean list has to be loaded with all the distrct Beans in which every DistrictBean will be loaded with list of CollegeBeans ... Which district belongs to which state and which college belongs which district is all there in the table information ...
    Now I want the query or queries to do that .... Can someone help me ?
    Please let me know if I have to be more clear...

    This program is working fine. You can test it.
    Only problem is as the column headings are big for some columns, they are getting truncated which you can always change by changing the column width in declaration
    Please let me know if this helps.

  • How to populate default values for BP (FPP1 is  tcode in ECC 6.0)

    Hello ,
    I am creating BP in ECC 6.0 using Fpp1 tcode.  How to populate default values when i hit create BP person.   any badi  triggers when we are creating BP in ECC.
    guide me.

    Hi Premanand,
    To default fields, you need to do the following steps :
    1. Create a Z module e.g. : Z_DEFAULT_FIELDS_DIALOG.
    2. Enter suppose you want to default fiels Name, title, country, write code as follows  :
    DATA : ls_busdefault LIKE busdefault.
      ls_busdefault-title = '0002'.
      ls_busdefault-mc_name1 = 'TEST'.
      ls_busdefault-mc_name2 = 'Default'.
      ls_busdefault-country = 'IN'.
        CALL FUNCTION 'BUP_BUPA_FIELDVALUES_SET'
        EXPORTING
          i_busdefault = ls_busdefalut.
    3. Now got to transaction BUS7, select event ISDAT, click on Event--> function modules.
    4. Register your Z module Z_DEFAULT_FIELDS_DIALOG in this list, Save.
    This should solve your problem. Please note : You can only default those fields contained in structure BUSDEFAULT.
    Cheers,

  • How to use CrossReference and DVM in ODI &how to populate data into Xref

    Can any one tell how to use Domain Value Maps and Cross Referencing in ODI?
    DVM or Domain Value Map are created and used in ESB console of SOA suite.
    My actual requirement is as follows:
    The below steps describe loading data from ERP Application 1 to ERP Application 2.
    1. The Source Application ERP APP1, populates the interface table using their native technology.
    2. A job scheduler invokes the Source side ODI Package.
    3. ODI then extracts the data from Source Interface table and populates the Target Interface table.
    4. After populating the Target interface table the ODI populates the X-ref table with App 1 ID and generated common ID.
    5. The ODI either deletes or updates the rows that were processed from the Source interface table.
    6. On the Target Application ERP APP2, the native application extracts data from target interface table and populates target database there by generating ERP Application 2 ID.
    7. A job scheduler on the Target application invokes the ODI package to populate the Application 2 ID onto the Xref table matching on the Common ID.
    I just want to know :
    1. How to populate data into the Xref table from Source datastore
    2. And if data is successfully laoded from target datastore to actual base table of target then how to populate the target id into the cross reference table.

    can anyone suggest me some answer, then it would be of great help?

  • How to populate a sharepoint 2010 list from the active directory. How to populate a sharepoint 2010 list with all sharepoint user profiles

    How to populate a sharepoint 2010 from the active directory.
    I want a list of all the computers in the active directory,
    another one with all users.
    I want also to populate a sharepoint 2010 list from the sharepoint user profiles.
    Thanks
    sz

    While
    the contacts list is usually filled out for contacts that are outside the company, there are times when you would use a contacts list to store internal and external resources.  Wouldn’t it be nice if you didn’t have to re-type your internal contacts’
    information that are already in the system?  Now you can with a little InfoPath customization on the contacts list.
    Here’s our plan:
    Create the contacts list, and open in InfoPath
    Create a data connection to the User Profile web service
    Customize the form adding some text, a people picker and a button
    Create InfoPath rules that will populate the contact fields from the user fields in the User Profile store
    Let’s get going!  Before we begin, make sure you have InfoPath 2010 installed locally on your computer.  I also want to give credit Laura
    Rogers and Darvish Shadravan’s book Using
    Microsoft InfoPath 2010 with Microsoft SharePoint 2010 Step by Step.  I know it looks like a lot of steps, but it’s easy once you get the hang of it.
    So obviously we need a contacts list.  If you don’t already have one, go to the SharePoint site where it will live, and create a contacts list.
    From the list, click the List tab on the ribbon, then click Customize form:
    So now we have our form open in InfoPath 2010.  Let’s add our elements to the form.
    Above all the fields, let’s add some text instructing users what to do with the the field we’re about to add (.e.g To enter an existing user’s information, choose the user below).
    Insert a people picker control by clicking the Person/Group Picker control in the Controls section of the ribbon.  This will add a column to the contacts list called group.
    Below the people picker, insert a button control from the same section of the ribbon as above.  With the button still highlighted, click the Control Tools|Properties tab on the ribbon.
    Then in the Label box, change the text to something more appropriate to our task (e.g. Click here to load user data!).
    You can drag the button control a little larger to account for the text.
    We should end up with something like this:
    Before we can populate the fields with user data, we need to create a connection to the User Profile Service.
    Add a data connection to the User Profile Service
    Click the Data tab on the ribbon, and click the option From Web Service, and From SOAP Web Service.
    For the location, enter the URL of your SharePoint site in the following format – http://<site url>/_vti_bin/UserProfileService.asmx?WSDL.  Click Next.
    Note - for the URL, it can be any SharePoint site URL, not just to the site where your list is.
    For the operation, choose GetUserProfileByName.  Click Next.
    Click Next on the next two screens.
    On the final screen, uncheck the box for “Automatically retrieve data when form is opened”. This is because we are going to retrieve the data when the button is clicked, also for performance reasons.
    Now we need to wire up the actions on our button to populate the fields with the information for the user in the people picker control.
    Tell the form to read the user from the people picker control
    Click the Home tab on the ribbon.
    Click the button control we created, and under the Rules section of the ribbon, click Manage Rules. Notice the pane appear on the far right.
    In the Rules pane, click New –> Action. Change the name to something like “Query and load user data”.
    Leave the condition to default (none – rule runs when button is clicked).
    Click the Add button next to “Run these actions:”, and choose “Set a field’s value”.
    For Field, click the button on the right to load the select a field dialog.  Click the Show advanced view on the bottom.  At the top, click the drop down and choose the GetUserProfileByName
    (Secondary) option.  Expand myFields and queryFields to the last option and highlightAccountName.  Click ok.
    For Value, click the formula icon. On the formula screen, click the Insert Field or Group button. Again click the show advanced view link, but this time leave the data
    connection as Main. Expand dataFields, then mySharePointListItem_RW.  At the bottom you should see a folder called group (the people picker control we just added to the form).  Expand this, then pc:Person,
    and highlightAccountId.  Click Ok twice to get back to the Rules pane.
    If we didn’t do this and just queried the user profile service, it would load the data of the currently logged in user.  So we need to tell the form what user to load the data for.  We take the AccountID field from the people
    picker control and inject into the AccountName query field of the User Profile Service data connection.
    Load the user profile service information for the chosen user
    Click the Add button next to “Run these actions:”, and choose Query for data.
    In the popup, for Data connection, click the one we created earlier – GetUserProfileByName and clickOk.
    We’re closing in on our goal.  Let’s see our progress.  We should see something like this:
    Now that we have the user’s data read into the form, we can populate the fields in the contact form.  The number of steps to complete will depend on how many fields you want to populate.  We need to add an action step for
    each field.  I’ll show you one example and then you will just repeat the steps for the other fields.  Let’s update the Job Title field.
    Populate the contact form fields with existing user’s data
    Click the Add button next to “Run these actions:”, and choose “Set a field’s value”.
    For Field, click the button on the right to load the select a field dialog.  Highlight the field Job Title.
    For Value, click the formula icon. On the formula screen, click the Insert Field or Group button.  Click the Show advanced view on the bottom. At the top, click the
    drop down and choose theGetUserProfileByName (Secondary) option.  Expand the fields all the way down until you see the Value field.  Highlight it but don’t click ok, but click the Filter
    Data button, then Add.
    For the first dropdown that says Value, choose Select a field or group.   The value field will be highlighted, but click the field Name field
    under PropertyData.  Click Ok.
    In the blank field after “is equal to”, click in the box and choose Type text.  Then type the text Title.
    Click ok until you get back to the Manage Rules pane.  The last previous screen will look like this.
    We’re going to update common fields that are in the user’s profile, and likely from Active Directory.  You can update fields like first and last name, company, mobile and work phone number, etc.  For the other fields, the
    steps are the same except the Field you choose to update from the form, and the very last step where you enter the text will change.  Here’s what the rules look like when we’re done:
    We’re all done, good work!  You can preview the form and try it now.  Click Ctrl+Shift+B to preview the form.  Once you’re satisfied, you can publish the form back to the library.  Click File –> Quick
    Publish.  Once it’s done, you will get confirmation:
    Now open your form in SharePoint.  From the contact list, click Add new item.  Type in a name, and click the button and watch the magic happen!

    I want to pass the selected input field to bapi..
    Please tel me where i pass the input field...
    Please correct my code...
    Thanks & regards

    Hi,
    Steps to insert multiple entries to BAPI table.
    1.Create an instance for BAPI input
    2.Bind the instance to the Node of the BAPI input
    3.Create instance of the Structure(BAPI table) to which input has to be added.
    4.Set the input values to the Structure instance.
    5.Add the instance to the BAPI input.
    6.Execute
    From the given example,I assume Z_Recr_Apply_Point_Input  is the BAPI Input and com.epiuse.us.recruitment.models.veteranpoint.Zrecr_Aplno as Structure
    Step 1:
    Z_Recr_Apply_Point_Input request = new Z_Recr_Apply_Point_Input(WDModelScopeType.TASK_SCOPE);
    Step 2:
    <b>wdContext.nodeZ_Recr_Apply_Point_Input.bind(request);</b>
    Steps 3 & 4:
    int size = wdContext.nodeApplicants().size();
    for(int i = 0 ; i < size ; i++)
    String isselected = wdThis.wdGetContext().nodeApplicants().getElementAt(i).getAttributeAsText("Appl_Number");
    if(isselected == "true")
    com.epiuse.us.recruitment.models.veteranpoint.Zrecr_Aplno appid = new
    com.epiuse.us.recruitment.models.veteranpoint.Zrecr_Aplno();
    appid.setAppl_Number(wdContext.nodeApplicants().
    getApplicantsElementAt(i).getAppl_Number());
    <b>wdContext.currentZ_Recr_Apply_Point_InputElement().modelObject().addRecr_Aplno(appid);</b>
    Step 5:
    <b>wdContext.currentZ_Recr_Apply_Point_InputElement().modelObject().execute();</b>

  • How to populate VO based ADF tabledynamically in Oracle 11g?

    Hi all
    Is there is any way to dynamically populate the values for the VOIterator in Oracle11g? My Requirement is something like, I have deragged the VO from the Data control to the jspx as a ADF table.Whenever page loaded the table will be populated with the values. The same way when page gets loaded user have the option to import the values from the excel sheet and need to display the imprted values on the same ADF table created based on the VO(View Object). I have the code to extract the data from the excel sheet. I just need to know how to populate those excel sheet data on the ADF table based on some VO.I Hope you got what I mean to say
    Thanks

    Hi Shay
    Thanks for your quick reply.My question is not more on how to extract the data from the excel.
    My concern is How to add the data dynamically to a VOIterator programatically in the backing bean?
    for eg:
    I have dragged a VO on to the screen as ADF Table(So whenever page get loaded the data will be displayed on the screen. This is fine )
    I want to place a button on top of my screen , and when user clicks on that specific button, in my backing bean i need to populate some data to that VOIterator and get it displayed on the same ADF table which created in above step.
    To acomplish this what should I do?
    Thanks

  • How to populate a list box linked to selection in combo box?

    Hi All,
    I am a beginner in Xcelsius. I am having problem on how to populate a list box based on the selection on my combo box.
    I have a combo box and a list box.  The combo box value consist of Countries. Values are:
    Singapore
    Indonesia
    Thailand
    When I select, for i.e. Indonesia, I want to populate the list box with all the Postal Code of Indonesia. When I select Thailand, i want to do the same.
    Can anyone shed some lights on how to achieve this?
    My spreadsheet data is as follow
    Country         Postal Code
    Singapore     680123
    Singapore     680124
    Singapore     680125
    Indonesia     155123
    Indonesia     155124
    Indonesia     155125
    Indonesia     155126
    Thailand       333123
    Many Thanks,
    Harianto

    Hi,
    I am detailing the complete steps below:
    In the combobox select the entire range of Country while seeing the records from the Combobox, Xcelsius will automatically show the unique values in the selection.
    After that in the "Data Insertion" section for Combobox select the "Insertion Type" as "Filtered Rows" (please click on the question mark beside this option and it will show how the selection works).
    In the source select the postal code, in the destination select the range which will be used as a data source for the list box.
    This will resolve the concern. Please remember to select the question mark beside the "Insertion Type" option, it explains the working in specific details.
    Best of luck.

    Gourav
