How to prevent "AciveX Control" yellow status bar on top of the page.

While i am trying to download the plug-in(.dll) using <OBJECT> or <EMBED> TAG in jsp(Html) page, there is one yellow bar saying{color:#ff6600} "{color}+{color:#ff6600}This site requires the following add-on:.......Please Click here to install".+
+{color}+1).Is there any code(javascript) to prevent this yellow bar.
2).How to detect(with help of any code) whether Activex controls are enabled or disabled in the IE browser settings.

No can do, except maybe if you find some exploit in the IE security system. The very point of that bar is to prevent a site from installing add ons and active x controls without letting the user know - which could lead to all kinds of mischief.

How do I get rid of the status bar at the top of my iPhone 3G while taking screen shots? I'd like to publish the shots on the web and in a You Tube video.
It depends on what you are taking a screen shot of. For example, if you are watching a video and the controls (and status bar) are visible, you can tap the screen to remove them and take you screen shot.

How do I get my menu bar at the top of the page with no gaps? Whenever I move it there is a huge gap at the top of the page which I cant seem to get rid of, i posted about this before but none of the suggestions seemed to work for me. i'm not very good with css so im not really sure where to find the problem. There are generally gaps everywhere which looks at absolute mess, no clue how they got there and why, there is a huge gap underneath my menu bar too which wasnt there before. how do i get rid of this too? its probably some padding a or margin but no clue where.

Status bar covers top of iPhone apps on iPad2/ mini
Since iOS 7 came out I have had several iPhone apps that have the status bar visible and is on top of the app, hiding the top portion of the screen (in games, usually where scores are or number of lives left). Prior to iOS 7 the satus bar was hidden if I had the game in 2x mode, but with iOS 7 I can't even go back to 1x mode. Is their a fix for this or is it a bug that will hopefully get fixed in an update? I kept hoping each update would fix it but no such luck yet. Or is it an app issue?
Most of them are older apps and does this both on my iPad 2 and iPad Mini.I just want to leave this picture here, showing how annoying the status bar is since the last update.
i made this picture on my ipad mini playing the iphone game Zenonia the status bar hides half of the map (upper left corner) and the backpack button (upper right corner) making it impossible to play the game because that button is really important.
i hope that this gets fixed someday. -
I opened my Mozilla yesterday and noticed my email page format was different then after a second, I noticed all my emails were now appearing along the top of the page in the tool bar area below "Fine Edit View Go ...etc" I'm not sure what happened. PLEASE help me I'm sure it's probably an easy fix, however I don't know how to fix it :)~ Also they are oldest email first, and since I normally save them for 45 days before deleting, I cant seem to get to the most recent email first. Ugh.
Truly appreciate your help.This is what happens when you continually open messages in tabs but never close them. Pretty soon all you have are message tabs showing and you have pushed the Inbox off the screen.
Get in the habit of closing message tabs after you read them.
To get out of your situation now, right click one of the tabs and select Close Other Tabs. Then use the x to close the last one. -
Help! My Mouse pad is not working properly. The arrow cannot be controlled, it just keeps jumping all over the page. How can I stop this?
There are several possible causes for this issue. Please take each of the following steps that you haven't already tried until it's resolved. Some may not apply in your case.
1. Follow the instructions in this support article, and also this one, if applicable. A damaged or defective AC adapter could be the cause, even if it's the right kind.
2. Press down all four corners of the trackpad at once and release. If there's any effect, it's likely to be temporary, and in that case the unit must be serviced or replaced.
3. Open the Bluetooth preference pane in System Preferences and delete all pointing devices other than the trackpad, if applicable. Disconnect any USB pointing devices. By a "pointing device," I mean a peripheral that moves the cursor, such as a trackpad, mouse, trackball, or graphics tablet. A plain keyboard is not a pointing device.
4. Start up in safe mode and test, preferably without launching any third-party applications. If you don't have the problem in safe mode, but it comes back when you restart as usual, stop here and post your results. Do the same if you can't start in safe mode. If there was no difference in safe mode, go on to the next step.
5. Reset the System Management Controller.
6. If you're using a Bluetooth trackpad, investigate potential sources of interference, including USB 3 devices.
7. A swollen battery in a portable computer can impinge on the trackpad from below and cause erratic behavior. If you have trouble clicking the trackpad, this is likely the reason. The battery must be replaced without delay.
8. There's a report that a (possibly defective) Thunderbolt Ethernet adapter can cause the built-in trackpad of a MacBook to behave erratically. If you're using such an adapter, disconnect it and test.
9. There's also a report of erratic cursor movements caused by an external display that was connected but not turned on.
10. If none of the above applies, or if you have another reason to think that your computer is being remotely controlled, remove it from the network by turning off Wi-Fi (or your Wi-Fi access point), disconnecting from a Bluetooth network link, and unplugging the Ethernet cable or USB modem, whichever is applicable. If the cursor movements stop at once, you should suspect an intrusion.
11. Make a "Genius" appointment at an Apple Store to have the machine and/or external trackpad tested. -
I was trying just to remove one of the things from the top of the page, but then somehow removed everything from the page; URL bar, shortcuts, favourites, refresh button etc. All I have is the 'tab' bar. Please could you let me know how to get all this back.

I shut my mac down 1 week ago. Apparently, it chose to restart. I am looking at an incomplete green status bar. I turned the computer off and back on. The status bar is stuck at 1/3. What can I do? I have no time machine backups.

I upgraded to the latest version of Firefox this morning. I have no menu bar at the top of the page. I did the alt version and then went to help to download the extension like one of the pages said. There were no new extensions.

How can I see the address bar which is buried above the top of the page?
I cannot see the address bar that is buried at the top of the page. My cursor will not go up above the top and will not force the page to come down. I have tried un-installing and re-installing, no help. I cannot use the site because I cannot get to the address bar.
What can I do?you've probably also hit the F11 key before - it just toggles between full-screen and normal mode.

I lost the top of the page where the "tools" icon would be, how do I get it back?
The top of the page is missing where you would have "file" bookmarks" "tools" so I don't know how to reset my page back to the default settings.

I like to be able to navigate backwards and forwards without having to scroll down and find where I was previously. In Firefox Four, when using the forwards and back buttons, the page will automatically return to the top of the page. Is there any way to change this setting in Firefox Four to prevent it from doing that?
Thanks for the response. No Time Machine, but I probably have a backup from a few months ago on an external hard drive. :/ I guess it'd have useful history, but not if it overwrote the last 3 months or so of Awesome Bar, that might not be so great.

How can I make GRID view the default view? The icons for view that used to be located in the upper right top of the page near the 'search library' are gone.

- The normal use of the Organizer is not the folder view, it's the thumbnail view with an organization based on categories and folder. That way you should forget completely where your pictures are stored. Anyway, the folder view in the Explorer is not a map of the location of the different bits of your file, it's only a logical representation. That's easy to see when you are doing a defragmentation.
- The folder view is useful even for those using normally the thumbnail view, but that is only for rare cases when you must change the folder organization, for instance moving files to another drive. - The new folder list view, which you find 'funny' is there to help better organizing using tags. You should use it in many cases, the main purpose being assigning tags when you have assigned descriptive folder names. I had suggested such a solution to prevent the long standing bugs in the folder view of previous versions.
So yes, the purpose is:
- to speed up switching modes
- to help folder organization fans to migrate to tags organization
- to hopefully get rid of the old folder organization bugs
