How to put a Java Program into the System tray

Hi all of the forum!!
I have a question. I want to make a monitor program but I don't know how to put the program in the system tray or just to execute the program but automatically (no manual execute), but i dont want that the program appear in a window, just start to function when i start my PC. i hope anybody help me.

There is a plenty of similar topics here, so you can use the Search on this forum or in Google to find out.
But shortly, you will need to use JNI or get a ready-to-use library like JNIWrapper (http://www.jniwrapper.com/winpack.jsp#tray), for example, that lets you do what you want.

It is very important that you post the product name or product number of your notebook and the version of the installed BIOS here in your thread.
How to identify your notebook.
Remove the battery and look in the compartment where the battery was installed. You should see a printed part number and a product name. Please post one or both of them (with all alphanumeric characters here).
It also helps if you post the country of purchase

How to put two mono tracks into the usual stereo view in Edit view of Audition 3 ?

Hi guys,
Previously I have had no issues simply using Adobe Audition 3 for simple stereo recording and editing of a stereo feed taken from a mixer... well nearly no issues.... :-)
Today, I'm having a bad day or else it's because I'm getting used to being retired.. :-) ......
Query : How do I put two mono tracks into the usual stereo view in Edit view so they both display correctly there?
Put simply I have two mono wav files. Let's call them Left_wav and Right_wav.
I cannot seem to get them imported into a new clean Edit view (Normal stereo track layout) so that Left_wav is on the top half and Right_wav is on the bottom half.
Whenever I try, I just get either Left_wav or Right_wav taking up the whole of the edit view. i.e. it just shows one track.
Can anyone familiar with Audition 3 kindly help? I'd appreciate a simple step by step... I just can't see where I've been going wrong, and it's driving me bananas :-).

There are various ways to do this in Audition 3. here's one.
Open both mono files separately in Edit view. Then convert Left_wav to Stereo by going to Edit/Convert Sample Type and under Channels select Stereo with Left Mix at 100% and Right Mix at 0%. This will give you a new stereo file with Left_wav on the top channel. Next go to the Right_wav and copy to the clipboard using Edit/Copy. Return to your new stereo file and enable Edit Right channel only in Edit/Edit Channel/Edit Right Channel. Then make sure that the cursor is at start of the stereo file and Paste Right_wav into the bottom channel of the new stereo file. Finally Save As.

Unfortunately this information is still not enough. Probably I cannot understand right what you are trying to do.
To work with tables and databases SAP uses several specifications, for example JPA API, Java Dictionary and so on. But I am not sure if this is what you need.

How to minimize window into the system tray icon

Hi,
I tried to fin how to minimize the application main window into the right down corner (system tray bar) only as an icon cause I don't want to have it on main bar.

I've already done that, some years ago.
Sorry, but I cannot give you the code, cause it has vanished after a few (!!!) system re-installations ;)
But this was the main idea:
- make a jni-dll
- inside the dll, get the handle to the window you want to minimize
- alter that window's properties
It's rather easy, once you've avoided all pitfalls. I'll suggest http://www.codeproject.com , they've certainly some tutorials on minimizing to the system tray.

Find the com.apple.dock.plist file in your Macintosh HD/Users/yourusername/Library/Preferences Folder, drag it to the Desktop, log out/in or restart and let us know what happens.

How to upload a java application into the oracle DB

Hello,
I am in search of an issue that is worrying me now for weeks. I have a java application which is independent. Now I want to upload this application to the oracle DB.The idea is for the application to sit on the DB and do it work from there, which is to transfer data to another 3rd party independent system. What is the best way of doing this? Is there any utility which can help me to upload a java application to the DB?
Also after uploading the application in the DB, how can it be called? Is there any tutorial to guide me please?

I imported my previous Bookmarks but they've all gone into the Bookmarks menu; how do I get the previous Toolbar ones back into the Toolbar instead of just having them in a sub-menu in Bookmarks?

If you import an HTML file then those bookmarks are added at the bottom of the Bookmarks Menu folder.<br />
If you want to have them on the Bookmarks Toolbar then you can move them to the folder with that name via a Cut and Paste action in the sidebar or in the Bookmarks Manager.

I have flushed the system restore points as sugested. But running the same SPYWARE DOCTOR program to scan the computer is appearing to be a tedious task! I have recieved blue screen errors for three consecutive times mid-way during the full system scans. The latest one being, "driver caused error in memory pool destined for disk use", exactly which I could not read, the system restarted immediately.
history of the machine:
norton anitvirus 2005 crashed during an update around the 20th march,2011. the live update said that the virus definitions were corrupted. I used norton removal tool. I downloaded the Norton antivirus2011 from its website. Initially it worked well but later it also crashed. Looking in the hardware section for a faulty driver, it highlighted two such drivers:
BHDrvx86 and Symantec iron Driver. After removing Symantec products completely , these drivers vanished!
I have tried MS essentials and ENod32 by d/l the trial version from their websites. however, the same result.
Using the PC Doctor tool through the service partition showed error in the memory and the dvdwriter. However, the drive reads the HP printer s/w but does not read the original music CDs!!
I had also updated my Service partition by d/l the R&R new version in january. The computer did not behave as erratically before doing this. Is it possible that a virus was introduced into the service partition and hence the memory is giving me errors?

How to run a java program in the JVM of an already running program?

As far as I know about JVM, each time we run a program a separate instance of JVM is created where the program runs. Correct me if I am wrong.
Is there any way for another program to execute itself in the same JVM?
Currently I am working on JFCUnit which is a tool used to automate swing applications. I am trying to automate JConsole.
If I open "JConsole.exe" through a program and then try to get the handles using JFCUnit, things are not working.
If I use JConsole.jar in JDK/lib and create a new instance of JConsole and then try to get the handles using JFCUnit, I am able to proceed with automation.
But here comes the problem :-
The application which needs to be automated through JConsole requires it to be started with few arguments, which is as follows:

Either
1. JFCunit could be made to recognize the JConsole.exe which would be running is a different JVM.
OR
2. JConsole.jar to be used in a way so that it takes the required arguments, hereby an instance of JConsole would be created that too in the same JVM as that of the program.
I am more interested in the first solution as it would definitely be helpful in other projects as well.
Please let me know if any other solution is possible.

It's silly to say that I'm very new to Java and Eclipse.
Actually, I've done a project to update data for a company, and I need to find a way to put it into the company server. This program using Swing to show a GUI and allow one user update data at a time. Then data will be saved to file(configuration file), therefore, only one user can do it at a time.
Please help me for any quick tutorial or sample codes which are similar to my job.

You can't get in unless you know the password so Now you have to restore the iPad in order to unlock it. You should restore the iPad to the same computer that you sync with so that you can restore your app data and iPad settings. You will probably need to use recovery mode in order to restore the device as well.
