How to put table relations in a hierarchical Jtree

Hi everyone !
My Problem is as following:
1. I've got a generic Database (over JDBC-ODBC)
2. I'v got an application with a JTree
3. I want to get the relations between tables
4. Those relations should be put in a hierarchical tree (namely JTree) to get a complete map of the Database!
I know, i have to get informations from the database schemas, but i don't know, how to handle them :-(
The database is in any relatioal format (e.g. Access) and what i want, is a hierarchical map of it in a JTree...
Example code is appreciated (if someone has solved it already !?!)

Sorry, if it has sounded this way for you!
Was it a problem to tell you things you already knew?
I didn't know that you knew them, and from your question I assumed you didn't.
I don't doubt that you are a DB programmer.
But I have not yet a clear feeling what you want to get out in your JTree at the end.
You make the tables to nodes in the tree and their columns to their children. For one table, ok.
Obviously you want to follow the joins and so skip from table to table.
So the columns of the joined table are added to those of the first table. Ok.
The DatabaseMetaData class should be able to tell you the primary keys - by getPrimaryKeys() -
and the foreign keys - by getExportedKeys() and getImportedKeys() - of your tables.
Do you make 1 JTree for each single table? Then I don't doubt you get a flat hierarchy.
But I had thought, you want to get all the tables in 1 graphical structure,
and for this I still don't understand, what you do with m-to-n-realtionships (which I called links).
Example:
table "program", table "pc"
Each program can be installed on n pcs, each pc can have n programs installed.
Probably you use a table program_pc to implement this relationship.
So table program_pc is joined to table program (program_pc.program_id = program.program_id)
and also to table pc (program_pc.pc_id = pc.pc_id).
How would you solve this?

But unfortunately I don't know how to built it.
I think it would be better to build it on SAP.
Because there you can also see description of tables and fields.
And it makes you work easier.

How to put five related short videos into one folder (in Event Library)?

I would like to take 11 short 30-second Photo Booth movies and put them into one folder titled RISE UP. This would save space in the Event Library on the left vertical column. How do I do this? Is it possible?

But none of the 11 videos is housed in an Event. They are just 11 short videos in a row. I tried to make an empty folder to name as RISE UP, but the application would not let me do that.
If the files have not yet been imported to iMovie '08 then select the "Import Movie..." File menu option. When the import window opens, in the lower area:
a) Select your destination hard drive in the "Save to:" block
b) Select the "Create new Event:" radio button
c) Name the new event
d) Select whether you want the files copied or moved to the new event
Now navigate to and select the files you want to import in the upper half of the window. (You can select individual files; multiple, non-contiguous files; or a contiguous range of files.) Press import when done making your selection(s).

How to find table related details from a field on a transaction?

If I type a transaction code msc3n and press enter, I come into 'Display batch' transaction. Now if I fill material and batch details and press enter, I will be getting 'shelf life exp. date' on basic data 1 tab. Now how will I know from which table this value is coming from? I tried pressing F1 and then technical info to see the field and table details, but no such details are given here. Only structure details are given.
Please let me know in detail.

Then main pricing related tables are KONH header details, and KONP item details.
The other tables your have mentioned like A601,A609.............. all these are condition tables, which stored the values which you save for access sequence combination.
Eg : For condition type PR00, lets us assume one key combination customer/material, so these details will be saved in condition table which is initially generated with fields as a part of condition techinque.
So here the table would be A005 i guess or its A006.
So like wise there will be condition tables for each key combination.

For Exam My requirement is I am getting BAPI from ECC System. So I have to go given input details in first view and output details in SecondView. So in Second View I will taken Table that data will displayed in rows. I need each and every row first I need check box.

When we are getting BAPI From ECC System. that BAPI Have nodes and Attribues...in under node we can't create "CheckBox"
attribute.
So i am doing like this.I am create on Checbox attribue out side of Node. Check Box data type is boolean.
next i am creating table ( that table having rows and columns) Right click on table-->Click on Insert GroupedColumn->again right click on nsert GroupedColumn---> Here Select Check Box.
Okay...here i am getting one problem. i have got Check boxes .But i am select check box in first row. that time all check boxes will be selected.
i need select first row check box that only first row will be selected suppose i selected second row check box that only second will be selected.

Hi Ravi,
To find out all tables used go into the CRM source system to transaction RSA3 and prepare the selections for extraction of your datasource.
In a parallel session execute transaction ST05 and press the button 'Activate Trace'
Go back to the extracor checker and execute the extraction.
Switch sessions and subsequently 'Deactivate Trace' and 'Display Trace'.
This will list all tables used.

How to define tablespaces in Oracle 10g and how put tables on tablespaces

I'm having trouble to define the structure of tablespaces and how to distribute the tables/indexes/lobs on these tablespaces.
Do you know some rules on how to define this?
What I have until now:
1) Put table indexes in separate tablespace
2) Put lobs in separate tablespace and use storage clause when defining the lob column. Not sure how many tablespaces to use, I have tables with millions of lobs and tables with just one lob (with row containing the lob).
3) Please fill more rules here ...

Long story: I received database and schema creation scripts defined in Oracle 9i. I want to redesign the tablespaces number/storage and also to change the distribution of tables into tablespaces.
As an example I will show how tablespaces are created now. There is one tablespace for indexes BLUE_AUTO_INDX and one for each EXTENT MANAGEMENT of:
- 64K for BLOB , name BLUE_K064_BLOB
- 64K for tables , name K064_NTAB
- 128K for tables, name BLUE_K128_NTAB
- 512K for CLOB , name BLUE_K512_CLOB
- 4M for BLOB , name BLUE_M004_BLOB
- 64M for CLOB , name BLUE_M064_CLOB
- 8M for tables , name BLUE_M008_NTAB
- 1M for tables , name BLUE_M001_NTAB
- 256M for tables, name BLUE_M256_NTAB

I have an invoice where all the lines are not fitting into one page. So some of the lines are getting printed in the second page. But in this case I wanted to put a message below the first page as "continue on next page"

The first thing you must do is convert your layout from table based to css based, (tables are o/k for tabular data, but not layout) but if you have never used css for layout it may be a steep learning curve.
My recommendation is to start with the following tutorial on converting a table based comp to a css layout -

Once you have converted your site the 'procedure' for using swf's as a background, (does not work well with flv's, but can be done using html5 video without a skin, to a limited extent) is the same as having a background-image resize automatically to the full browser view-port. The best way to learn how to do this is to view the code on a page using the background-image technique, view the code on this page - http://www.pziecina.com/indexold.php.
However, instead of having a fluid layout I would recommend using a fixed layout size to start with, as this overcomes many problems. As I said the page must be resized in this example in order to see the effect, (so do not forget to resize the browser, even if it is only by 1px), but if you use a fixed size layout and your swf's size fits the desired area correctly the resize should not be required.

my requirement is somehow complicated, it is as follows:
i have an employeeEO and a DirectorEO with the corresponding employeeVO and DirectorVO i want to make a search on the two VOs but with one search table and one go button.
I have put a query region then region using wisard for the EmployeeVO then add an item for the director with no view instance and no view attribute, now i don't know how to put the name of the director in DirectorVO according to the empID in EmployeeVO
any help would be appriciated
