i have some data like below(is json?),how to write them into
the database?

You need to parse it and then insert the records into your
database.
Take a look at
CFJSON it is a JSON
serialiser and de-serialiser.
Once you have converted it to native CF datatypes you can
loop through it and insert it into your database.

    I recently backed up my BB Tour 9630 to the BB Desktop Software. I would like to know if there is a way to open this file on my desktop so I can see the data.     Thank you for looking into this. Since I was converting into dynamic data before writing it I thought you have to convert it after reading but then I got stuck as to whether build the array again so as to display it in the graph. Dennis I did what you said and the graph on reading is a bit funny just started today and I am kinda skipping the long tutorial due to shortage of time. sorry

    I have download NewtonSoft.json version 5.0.8.
    So, I am able to convert input data into json format, but how can I able to write and read this data from a json/text file.

    Accessing the file system directly from a web app is a bad idea for several reasons. See http://weblogs.java.net/blog/simongbrown/archive/2003/10/file_access_in.html for a great discussion of the topic.
    On Weblogic there seems to be two ways to access files. First, use a File T3 connector from the console. Second, use java.net.URL with the file: protocol. The T3File object has been deprecated and suggests:
    Deprecated in WebLogic Server 6.1. Use java.net.URL.openConnection() instead.

    You will most likely need to rework your fstab.  The one from my desktop is shown below. If you want regular users to be able to access the partition, then you will need to change the gid option as I have done. Although you could create a group just for people you want to have access.
    You will need to know the device that your windows partition is held on of course. In my case it is my first hard disk, first partition, hence /dev/sda1.

    My XP partition is set to mount automatically, as I regularly interchange documents between the OS's.

    You are exporting field v_fname, not importing it.  The field v_fname isn't for the file name anyway; field p_fname is for the file name. You also need to pass your file name to the function module GUI_DOWNLOAD for it to work.

  • How do I read from a text file that is longer than 65536 lines and write the data to an Excel spreadshee​t and have the data write to a new column once the 65536 cells are filled in a column?

    I have data that is in basic generic text file format that needs to be converted into Excel spreadsheet format.  The data is much longer than 65536 lines, and in my code I haven't been able to figure out how to carry over the data into the next column.  Currently the conversion is done manually and generates an Excel file that has a total of 30-40 full columns of data.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    No need to use nested For loops. No need for any loop anyway. You just have to use a reshape array function. The picture below shows how to proceed.
    However, there may be an issue if your element number is not a multiple of the number of columns : zero value elements will be added at the end of the last column in the generated 2D array. Now the issue depends on the way you intend store the data in the Excel spreadsheet : you could convert the data as strings, replace the last zero values with empty strings, and write the whole 2D array to a file (with the .xls extension ) using the write to spreadsheet function. Only one (minimal) problem : define the number of decimal digits to be used;
    or you could write the numeric array directly to a true Excel spreadsheet, using either the NI report generation tools or ActiveX commands, then replace the last elements with empty strings.
    We need more input from you to decide how to solve these last questions.

    I am writing a form that requires some data to be written serverside(not on the host machine) and I also need to be able to read from those same files.
    Can anyone provide any help?
    I looked into signing but it seems, to me, that signing is for when you are going to be modifying files on the host...
