How to read configuration structure (SD)

Hello,
i've to read the whole configuration structure of an SD-order item, which isn't expanded to sub-positions. Means: the material in item 10 is an BOM head-material and a KMAT. The materials in the multi-level BOM are configured via the configuration of the head material. If you press the "Configuration" button in the SD-sales order, you see the whole configuration structure. Does anybody know how i can read the whole structure from the database if i know only the SD-order and the item number?
Thanks,
Richard

use FM to get config, you'll have to pass cuobj there.
call function 'CUCB_GET_CONFIGURATION'
   exporting
        instance                     = vbap-cuobj
   importing
        configuration                = z_instance_tab
   exceptions
        invalid_instance             = 1
        instance_is_a_classification = 2
        others                       = 3

  • How to read Configuration Adapter Service?

    Hi all
    Am using NWDS 7.0 SP 15.
    I have uploaded a file (text file with props) in the configuration adaper. I want to read this file in my webdynpro (or any java) application. How can I do it?
    I have gone through sdn and I did find some posts which related to reading Configuration on J2EE. I am not referring here to the normal properties files on WebDynpro which are shown up on the Configuration Adapter. The key value pairs in those can be edited, but as such it is not possible to add a new key value pair from the Visual Adminsitrator.
    To workaround, I created/uploaded a file directly in the Configuration Adapter under my application component. Now I want the APIs to browse through the tree. I know there is a J2EE service by name Configuration Service which is used by SAP applications, how may I use it? Thank you.
    The post "Problem with Configuration Adapter Service a very old one deals with the same, I have put my concern there about the availability of the API.
    I have repeated this question from the WDJ forum, please excuse. I did not find solutions thus far.
    Regards
    LNV

    Hi LNV
    Try the following development components to locate interface Configuration and all other API classes: SAP-JEE/com.sap.engine.client.lib or SAP-JEE/com.sap.engine.deploy.online.
    Approach mentioned in Problem with Configuration Adapter Service shall work.. See my comment there too..

  • How to read configuration data from an xml file (not web.xml)?

    Hi,
    I want to separate the application specific configuration parameters in a separate xml file and read them as and when they are needed? I know that I can use the wb.xml but I want to separate them in a different xml file because I don't want the web.xml file to be played around later after deployment. If any change is needed then it should be done in the application-config.xml.
    How can I read the parameters from this xml file in my jsp code and also what should be the location of this file if I have
    ../webapps/Root/application
    directoty structure ?
    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    can you give an example of a property file and also
    it is loaded in the jsp ?Hmm... loading properties in a JSP is not a very good idea. You should do it in a separate class, rather than mixing the logic with the display logic.
    Properties properties = new Properties();
    properties.load(UtilClass.class.getResourceAsStream("config.properties"));
    // Add a try - catch block around the load
    // for IOException...

  • How to read Blueprint Structure using ABAP

    Hello All,
    We are creating a report for which we need to read the projects blueprint structures (from ABAP).
    Anyone any ideas what tables to read from, or what bapi calls we can make for this?
    Thanks,
    Jurjen

    Hi Jurjen
    sorry for my late response, I was two days offsite at a customer ...
    If you follow the description above you will get a list of entries of TTREE with different TTREE-TYPES. These types are giving you at least some information about their positions in the structure:
    BMBS0 is a business scenario
    BMPG1 is a business process
    BMPS1 is a business process step
    REFH0 is  the top node of your structure
    Unfortunately I didn't get the real structure hierarchy up to now to understand who is which parent or brother or child. Nevertheless you will have in the field TTREE-TEXT the description of the nodes in transaction SOLAR01.

  • How to read configuration (CUXI_GET_SINGLE_CONFIGURATION)

    Hi All,
    I need to read the configuration for several orders (one at the time), and I use FM: CUXI_GET_SINGLE_CONFIGURATION.
    When I read one order it works fine, but when I loop at several orders it doesn't seem to change the retrieved values from first loop in second loop and soforth.
    I think this has something to do with the functiongroup's global data but it seems that I can't reset those.
    Is there anybody who can help me?
    Thanks to all.
    / Lars Bernstorff Hansen

    I found there is a std function provided by SAP, named 'CUXI_GET_MULTI_CONFIGURATION'.
    Maybe you can try it.
    Hope this can take help.

  • Reading Multiple Structures

    Hi,
    Could anyone tell me how to read multiple structures in a single BPEL process?
    I have a requirement to read multiple files with different structures to be read in a single BPEL process.
    All these files will be ftped and read from a single source folder, this need to be transformed to common canonical xml format [OAGIS], Any possibilities?

    if Reading Multiple Structures mean by Reading Multiple FileType from FTP location then
    the solution for above problem is to either fallow the naming convention or stick for on file type. (*.* is not allowed in FTP adapter)
    fallowing the naming convention: uploaded files should start with somename_----.txt or csv or any structure, type......
    then we can put a condition like somename*.* will pickup all the files start with somename.... instead of structure...
    try this link.... study the documentaion
    http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B31017_01/integrate.1013/b28994/adptr_file.htm#CIABDJEF
    hope this will help you....

  • How can I configure ReFS to NOT fail read operations when a checksum error is detected (on non-Storage-Spaces volumes where data integrity streams are enabled)?

    According to William Stanek, in his Windows Server 2012 R2 Inside Out: Configuration, Storage & Essentials book, this is apparently possible: (pg. 615 - here it is on Google Books: https://books.google.ca/books?id=0IyfBAAAQBAJ&pg=PT819&lpg=PT819&dq=read+operation )
        Integrity can be enabled when the system is not running on Storage Spaces. When
        integrity is enabled and ReFS detects a checksum mismatch, ReFS logs an event and
        fails the read operation by default. If you don’t want the read operation to fail, you
        can configure ReFS to continue with the read operation. A related event will be logged
        regardless.
    So then how do I configure it to do that???
    (And just to make it super-clear, I'm NOT using Storage Spaces, so there is no redundancy via mirroring/parity, and I'm not expecting any file repair - just detection of corruption. It's just a basic volume formatted with ReFS and
    with integrity streams enabled, via format E: /fs:ReFS /i:enabled
    For those who want more details, here's the situation:
    I try to perform a read operation on a file with corrupted data (purposely done for testing using a low-level disk editor), I get a the following error message:
    And an event ID 133 from ReFSv1 gets logged in the System log:
    Clicking "Try Again" just brings up the same message, and clicking "Skip" skips the operation entirely.
    This is indeed the correct default behaviour.
    What I want instead is for the read operation to be allowed to complete, with corrupt data and all, and ONLY for the event to be logged. And according to William Stanek, this is supposed to be configurable somewhere - and after hours of searching, I haven't
    been able to find anything.

    Hi Tommy,
    >>How can I configure ReFS to NOT fail read operations when a checksum error is detected
    We can use PowerShell command Set-FileIntegrity to configure this. The specific parameter for controlling this behavior is
    -Enforce <Boolean>which indicates whether to enable blocking access to a file if integrity streams do not match the data.
    Regarding this point, the following article can be referred to as reference.
    Set-FileIntegrity

    Hi Vijay,
    You can try this piece of code too:
    Properties props = new Properties();
    //try retrieve data from file
    //catch exception in case properties file does not exist
    try {
             props.load(new FileInputStream("c:\property\Test.properties")); //File location

    Thank you very much for reply.
    In the following example, the cachestore element is not specified in the <read-write-backing-map-scheme> section. Instead, a class-name ControllerBackingMap is designated. What is the result?
    If ControllerBackingMap is a persistence entity, is the result same with that of cachestore-scheme?

  • How to Read records from structure to internal table

    HI,
    Can any body know how to read the records from structure to internal table at runtime.
    please give me sample program if possible.
    thanks in advance
    KP

    if your internal table is having the same structure as the structure you are reading the values from then you can directly assign like..
    internatable table work area or header line = structure.
    or else if they are different assign field by field like
    internal table-field1 = structure-field1.
    internal table-field2 = structure-field2.
    award points if it helps.

  • How to configure structured material

    when I try to post material with movement type 319 by MB1B, system showed to me 'Movement type 319 can only be carried out for structured material'.  Please tell me how to configure structured material? it is better to provide more detail information.thanks,

    Hi
      I can see the question has been in the forum for quite sometime, but I would like to provide input perhaps to enable you to close it. Structured material based on my experience only applicable to IS-Retail. It is meant for gift pack that contains a few articles in it. Since you log this question in this forum, I would assume you dont have IS Retail. Perhaps you should consider other mvt to solve the problem that you are facing right now.

  • How do I configured the PXI-4351 to read thermocouples with Labwindows?

    Hi,
    I have a PXI-4351 datalogger and am trying to configured it to read thermocouples, the terms on the functions don't make any sense since it asks for a transducer group...thermocouples are not transducers. Anyone has a software reference for this...the online help is not enough, i guess i need information on how to read a thermocouple. HELP!!!

    Hi,
    My question is, why do you think Thermocouples are not transducers? In the application with NI 435x, thermocouples are considered transducers just like thermistors, etc.
    1. You may want to take a look at examples here:
    C:\VXIpnp\WinNT\NI435x\examples\CVI
    If you are talking about the NI435x_Configure function, you can find the elaborate help on the function by going to Start>>Programs>>National Instruments 453x>>NI435x Help.
    Please do let me know if you need more help.

  • How to copy documents from SOLAR02 configuration structure into Solution

    Hi,
    in SOLOA02 we have stored our cross scenario configuration in the solution structure on top level node 'configuration' as described in the help 'Implementation and Upgrade Projects'->'projects'->'configuration'->'Edit cross scenario configuration'.
    During hand-over from project to support I want to copy the information stored under configuration into our solution directory (TC SOLUTION_DIRECTORY). In the solution structure there is no top level node 'configuration'. Only 'Org Unkits, Master Dtaa, Business Scenarios, Interface Scenarios, Systems, Servers.
    Can I customize the default solution structure and add the missing node? Is there another way to copy the documents?
    Best regards,
    Peter

    Hi Peter,
    the only way to relate the configuration structure from a project to a solution is via a maintenance project. You need to assign a maintenance project to your solution (on the solution settings tab). This will create a solution node in the maintenance project. You can now copy the configuration structure from your implementation project to the configuration structure underneath the solution node of the maintenance project.
    Best regards,
    Michael
