How to read printed text from the browser.

I have an API that take 2 parameters as query string and after validating it prints back 4 parameters on the browser itself like :
para1=abc
para2=xyz
para3=123
para4=pqr
now i want to use the value of these parameters further in my program, can anyone tell me how can i take the parameter values in variables.

I can think of two choices offhand.
1. In addition to displaying the values, have your servlet or JSP write out a form with <input type="hidden" name="para1" value="abc"> fields in it, and a submit button. Your values will come back to you in the next post or get request. (If this is sensitive information, however, DO NOT do this unless you can re-validate the data, since it would be possible for someone to fabricate their own static page to submit bogus data.)
2. Put the data in the session object, using the setAttribute(...) method, and retrieve it on the next page using getAttribute(...).
You cannot really "read" the page that is visible on the user's browser.

There's no print menu in Reminders.
You can take a screen shot and print that. Hit command-shift-3 when Reminders is showing, then hit the spacebar, and then click on the Reminders window and you'll get a screen shot on your desktop. You can then open that in Preview and print from there.
A better solution though is to just use an iPhone and sync, and have your reminders with you :-)

If you want to delete the messages from within the text app, swipe over the name or number of the sender and hit delete.
If you are afraid that someone will be able to restore them by ckecking your HD, you will have to set up the phone "as new device" or choose "erase all content and Settings" in Settings/General/Reset. But this willerase the whole phone, not only your text messages.

So annoying! When I print just from the browser, it prints unreadably small in the top center of the page.

I have called support on my actual printer and everything is fine, they suggested to contact the browser I am printing from. Microsoft word and other software prints normal. Any web page I attempt to print from, even when I select the "print page" option, I have this error. I have been through all the troubleshooting to reset defaults.

Does the issue still occur if you start Firefox in Safe Mode? http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode

What steps have you tried?

How to read User ID from the request Form and pre populating in the AD User process form before provisioning

I am trying to read the user Id from the submitted AD User request form( Catalogue AD User form. I need User Id,firstname and lastname inorder to prepopulate the common name as in this format - lastname,firstname (userid) for the user to be provisioned in Active Directory.
So after filling the AD User request form with User Id and Organization and submitting the request, I am trying to
prepopulate the common name in the process form before the provisioning.
The prepopulate adopter for the common name is configured to read the firstname, lastname and userid. firstname and
lastname variables are mapped to User definition and user Id is mapped to Process Data. In this setup I am not getting the
User Id value from process data, it is empty.
Is this a bug with OIM 11g R2 or I need to do it differently in order to read the user Id that user has entered in the
request form for populating the common name?

The data is not reliable and trustworthy. IP addresses can easily be spoofed (a few seconds if you know what to do and how to do it). Also, IP addresses are not static. Users also do not use the same network device to access the database - different devices will have different IP addresses.

When you get the values Textname, text id, textobject to the smartform.
call the FM read_text in the programing lines to get the long text in the internal table. Another way to retrieve the long text is to use INCLUDE but for your requirement is better to uses READ_TEXT function module.
Once you get the data in the internal table.
Create table and loop the long text internal table. Now in the table when create a text node, keep a condition on the text node in the conditions column that when sy-tabix = 3. Which means you are skipping two lines (Administrative data).
Procedure:
1. Right click > create-> programming lines.
2. In the Input parameters pass TEXT NAME, TEXT ID, Text Object and Interanal table(itab) and In output paramaeters the Internal table (itab).
3. call function Read_text and pass the values.
4. create a table for Itab.
5. create a text node.
6. Keep a condition on the text node sy-tabix = 3 in the condition tab of the text node.

I need my java program to read HTML tags from the browser...

so, i've made this java GUI, which can run from my internet explorer toolbar...
as of now, this program doesn't do anything, it just produces an interface with blank fields
i want these fields to automatically add information about the current web page on the browser... basically, is there any way that my java program can automatically read the HTML source of the web page opened? i just need it to be able to capture the page's URL and title.
i programmed it using NetBeans, and it runs from the .jre file outside of NetBeans. I got an icon for it to appear on my IE toolbar by editing my computer's registry. When I click on this icon, my GUI runs, but doesn't do anything. Can I get it to read (i.e. automatically output on one of the textfields on my GUI) the URL and title of the webpage that i'm currently on? I want this to work like Bookmarks/Favourites does, so that means i don't want to download every single webpage before reading from it.

I think that if you wanted to do this, it would involve something like the following:
Have your toolbar GUI listen on a local port
Set IE to proxy to localhost at that port
Tunnel/proxy all requests. This will allow you to intercept the page source and the original request. Between the request URL, the request payload, the HTTP headers of request and response and the response payload, that's everything the browser would 'see'. The downside of the above is that you cannot intercept SSL (HTTPS) requests. You might be able to use the Windows/IE API (native) to fetch page source, but this would definitely be an application and O/S specific solution.

I think if you choose Save Image, it should show up in your photo or gallery application. Watch for a download notification in the top bar.

At home, this is not an issue. I don't know why it's different here at work--same installation, same settings (as far as I can tell).

I have a NoScript add-on icon in the corner, which works fine. If I add a GreaseMonkey icon from the Customize menu, the "Icon and Text" appears for that icon, like the Icon and Text from the browser controls (Home, stop, etc). Other add-on icons also show Icon and Text (S4E, for instance). NoScript is the only one I've found so far which collapses down to just an Icon.
This leads to the status (add-on) bar having a much larger height than I like. Essentially what I want is for only the Icon to appear in the Status bar (Add-on toolbar), while keeping Icons and Text in the Browser controls. My current workaround is simply removing the other add-on icons from the status (add-on) toolbar, but that takes away the ease of toggling and setting options.
Please tell me if I can provide you with anything else, and thanks for your help.

Surely there must be some UserChrome.css that will solve this problem. Something like this:

Unfortunately that does not work. I probably have the button text item name wrong (there is a pound sign before addonbar but it doesn't show in this posting).

whenever we select type: Text and we enter some text in the row level for each item. when we see the PLD priview
Items are displaying but the text below the items are not displaying
it displays an empty row after each item
How should i print text in the PLD
I required in this following Format

this is capital Good Item

this is Raw Material
In this above format
I didnt get the text below the Items

I already select the linetext field from table POR10 and kept it in the PLD
