How to read security certificates from registry using java 1.4

Hi All,
I installed one Security certificate in IE browser. that certificate is UNExportable which contains private keys which are imported to use while server cuommunication.
Now have to send that certificate for authentication to vendor server using java(J2SDK 1.4).I tried allways to do cummunication but filed due to unabalability of private key.
Here I want to read that certificate from windows sertificate registry store which is installed from IE.
Is there any way to read IE installed certificates using java. If so please provide me that code.
Its very URGENT for me.....please help
thank you
Vinod

while exporting the certificate the am able to export only public keys, private key option is disabled. but those private keys are very important for my communication. I should pass those private keys to vendor for authentication purpose.
That's way am paling to read certificate from windows registry. but am new to these concepts.
can anybody have code to read certificates from windows registry using java 1.4?

  • How to extract the number from image using java

    Hello every one
    i want to develope a project which can extract the number from image
    that i can use as inter or String or char.
    Is there any API in java which provide this type of facility.
    right now i m using java 5
    thanks in Advance
    Jignesh

    In my project i have a image in that i have a
    co-ordinate (x,y) I am still puzzled as to what you seek. It sounds to me like you have a point (x, y) represented by p. in java it's just p.getX() p.getY()
    i want to convert that cordinate to numeric form,
    i mena i want to use that cordinate in somewhere else
    in project.point.getX() point.getY()
    So need to convert it into numeric form u can called
    it OCR also.OCR is optical character recognition. If I want out and took a picture of the US Declaration of Independence and then wanted the words on the parchement in the picture in text form, then I would run the picture through a software program and it would try to optically recognise what lettering and number were present in the picture. In the end, I would have a text of what is written on the US Declaration of Independence.
    Is that what you want?

    I have one jsp/bean application as a partner application with SSO.
    It works fine.
    Now i need to get other attributes of user from LDAP who has logged into the application through SSO.
    using SSO java APIs i only get username, userDN, subscriber info.
    To get user's other attribute i have to user LDAP APIs for that i have to create on Directory Context, for the same i need userpassword.
    so here i my question, how do i get user password after he has logged in thro SSO.
    regards..
    and thanking u in advance

    Valentina,
    there's no way to get the password value from the directory (it's one way). Of course you can get the hashed (MD4,MD5,SHA-1) base64 encoded value (i.e. the value you see in OiD) but not the 'password'.

  • How to Read/Write to PS registry, tools for making GUI

    Hi Folks,
    We have several plugins that we would like to make available to our users by the Photoshop panel (made with Adobe Configurator).
    Plugins are scripting aware, and also use reading and writing to Photoshop registry.
    We also want that user can define settings for the plugin and to be able to call it by clicking on a button.
    Only way that I could  find is as follows:
    User click on a settings button, and that calls java script that display dialog with settings.
    There user can make choices and save them.
    When user click on a run button script read settings from registry and calls plugin
    or just call plugin (plugin can read from registry himself).
    Now the questions:
    What are the tools that are using to make dialogs in JS when you make java scripts to automate Photoshop?
    How to read and write Photoshop registry with java script?
    I am experienced plugin developer but until now all work was in PS SDK and C++.
    I have no experience in scripting Photoshop trough java script.
    Plugins are Win 32/64 platform that are supported is Windows XP or later.
    Thank you in advance.

    Well, as someone has said, pefs should work, but if not, it is quite easy to figure out the syntax of the .reg files, so why wouldn't you create the one you need and than import it? I think you can add reg keys with
    REG ADD [ROOT\]RegKey /v ValueName [/t DataType] [/S Separator] [/d Data] [/f]or
    REGEDIT /S pathnamecommands, so call that in an external process (see ProcessBuilder class).

  • How to read Group ID from Value Mapping Context in Cache Monitoring ?

    Hi friends,
        In RWB --> Cache Monitoring --> Integration Server (Java) -> (Search for Value Mapping Groups) in this each item is identified by Value Mapping Group (GroupID, Context, Identifier/Agency, Identifier/Scheme). Either we create Value Mapping Table in ID or replicate value mapping data directly from text file/SAP table etc., in run time cache, data will be identified in this manner.
        Now, our requirement is to delete a record the Cache for a particular context. Two operations provided by XI one is 'Delete' and another one is 'DeleteGroup'. When we use either of this, we should know GroupID. Suppose, I replicated some large amount of data from my text file in Runtime Cache. Value Mapping Table is like that IN --> India, US --> USA, AU --> Australia, EG --> Egypt. Now, I am required to write a program to get the input country code from user which is going to delete in the value mapping table like IN/AU....  For this, what logic we should follow in the program is, First we scan the value mapping table and find the record (country code)  which is match with the input. Then find the GUID value for this record. Now we use the DeleteGroup Operation and pass this GUID and then delete the record.
        So, in essence, how to read the GUID from value mapping context.
        Friends, Kindly help me to do this.
    Thanks in advance.

  • How to delete an operation from order using the bapi

    Can somebody please tell me how to delete an operation from order using the bapi
    BAPI_ALM_ORDER_MAINTAIN.
    Following was the test data for the BAPI.
    000000 OPERATION DELETE 0000040052810070
    000000 SAVE 0000040052810070
    Even I tried entering the operation table. The BAPI control ends fine, but when I check the order using IW32, the operation still exists.
    So, can you please tell me where Iam going wrong.

    Hi Subash Mohanvel,
    Check bapireturn parameter of the bapi BAPI_ALM_ORDER_MAINTAIN after execution of the code , and if there is no error message in the return table then call bapi_Transaction_commit.
    Unless you call this database saving of the records/values will not get reflected in the system.
    Hope that helps.

  • How to read appended objects from file with ObjectInputStream?

    Hi to everyone. I'm new to Java so my question may look really stupid to most of you but I couldn't fined a solution by myself... I wanted to make an application, something like address book that is storing information about different people. So I decided to make a class that will hold the information for each person (for example: nickname, name, e-mail, web address and so on), then using the ObjectOutputStream the information will be save to a file. If I want to add a new record for a new person I'll simply append it to the already existing file. So far so good but soon I discovered that I can not read the appended objects using ObjectInputStream.
    What I mean is that if I create new file and then in one session save several objects to it using ObjectOutputStream they all will be read with no problem by ObjectInputStream. But after that if in a new session I append new objects they won't be read. The ObjectInputStream will read the objects from the first session after that IOException will be generated and the reading will stop just before the appended objects from the second session.
    The following is just a simple test it's not actual code from the program I was talking about. Instead of objects containing different kind of information I'm using only strings here. To use the program use as arguments in the console "w" to create new file followed by the file name and the strings you want save to the file (as objects). Example: "+w TestFile.obj Thats Just A Test+". Then to read it use "r" (for reading), followed by the file name. Example "+r TestFile.obj+". As a result you'll see that all the strings that are saved in the file can be successfully read back. Then do the same: "+w TestFile.obj Thats Second Test+" and then read again "+r TestFile.obj+". What will happen is that the strings only from the first sessions will be read and the ones from the second session will not.
    I am sorry for making this that long but I couldn't explain it more simple. If someone can give me a solution I'll be happy to hear it! ^.^ I'll also be glad if someone propose different approach of the problem! Here is the code:
    import java.io.*;
    class Fio
         public static void main(String[] args)
              try
                   if (args[0].equals("w"))
                        FileOutputStream fos = new FileOutputStream(args[1], true);
                        ObjectOutputStream oos = new ObjectOutputStream(fos);
                        for (int i = 2; i < args.length ; i++)
                             oos.writeObject(args);
                        fos.close();
                   else if (args[0].equals("r"))
                        FileInputStream fis = new FileInputStream(args[1]);
                        ObjectInputStream ois = new ObjectInputStream(fis);
                        for (int i = 0; i < fis.available(); i++)
                             System.out.println((String)ois.readObject());
                        fis.close();
                   else
                        System.out.println("Wrong args!");
              catch (IndexOutOfBoundsException exc)
                   System.out.println("You must use \"w\" or \"r\" followed by the file name as args!");
              catch (IOException exc)
                   System.out.println("I/O exception appeard!");
              catch (ClassNotFoundException exc)
                   System.out.println("Can not find the needed class");

    How to read appended objects from file with ObjectInputStream? The short answer is you can't.
    The long answer is you can if you put some work into it. The general outline would be to create a file with a format that will allow the storage of multiple streams within it. If you use a RandomAccessFile, you can create a header containing the length. If you use streams, you'll have to use a block protocol. The reason for this is that I don't think ObjectInputStream is guaranteed to read the same number of bytes ObjectOutputStream writes to it (e.g., it could skip ending padding or such).
    Next, you'll need to create an object that can return more InputStream objects, one per stream written to the file.
    Not trivial, but that's how you'd do it.

  • How to read Oracle Database as Input using BDC..

    Hello SAP Minds,
    How to read the data from Oracle data base to SAP tables. How can i use directly the Oracle database as input..
    I have to upload the time data  for my client for each of its employee per day. Their clock in and clock out time is recorded in the time maching and finally it gets stored into centralised oracle database, now they want me to  use this centralised database as input and upload the same into SAP.
    For example :
    pernr          time-in            time-out                 begda                   endda
    00001        8.00               18.00                  26-11-2007     26-11-2007

    You can use the database connector (DBCON) to read external databases directly.
