How to receive selection action?

I essentially want to get notified when a table is selected. I have my ActionComponent but I don't receive any other actions but my panel's menu actions..
Here's my .fr

Action components are only responsible for (menu and keyboard-shortcut) actions.
To understand the selection subsystem, refer to the programming guide and SDK examples, good search keywords are Suite and CSB .

my question is: when u select one line in alv report, the line will be high-lighted, right? and suppose there's a button for further processing, then u can click the button to process only this line. ok now, using BDC technique, the system doesn't record the 'select' action! even i go to menu-->select all, it still doesn't work.
or if anybody knows how to release customer expected price except t-code v.25? cuz, i'm trying to record actions in v.25.

Hi :
you cannot record ALV using BDC.According to ur req., after u enter data in selection screen, it goes to ALV list , there u select particular record and process further rite, say create in bck ground or foreground.
While doing recording, in selection screen if u have any check box which displays ALV List , uncheck it and continue ur recording.
In the bdc program u can see a field some thing like p_alvlist ' ', mark it as p_alvlist ' / '.
If not, copy the program along with includes, in ur program comment all the alv part, and call that particular FM where this selection takes place from ur main program.

In my case i have a table n user enters data on multiple rows in table , n i have some input fields outside of table for those Inputs fields am settiing the data at the screen initilization(in Init() moethod by hard code).the problem is whenever the is clicking in th 2nd row of a table the Lead Selection is triggerig and the data in the Input Fields outside the table is not displayinig.
So by removing the lead Selection Action of a table i thought i can reslove this,
2) How to refresha page(like we click F5 on key board),is it can be done thru code in web dynpro application

Hi,
You did not explained what is your functionality or coding in leadselection. Is that action on leadselection is necessary for you?.
1)If you just want to remove the action then go to table properties and remove the action for leadselection.
2)If you still want to continue with your leadselect action, then what you can do is.. write the code in leadselection action to again set the input fields which are out from table. That is what you did in your init method.
Page Refreshing
3) What do you mean by page refreshing? is that refreshing your table only or both the table and input fields.
What I understood is you are allowing the user to enter values in table and soon after pressing a button the values should be saved and the data in input fields shld be deleted. For this if you only invalidate the node then the user entered data will be lost.
So what you do is after getting the input data from the user add it to a ArrayList and then invalidate the node which clears the data in input field. Finally bind the Arraylist to your node. see the following code. This is a concept make changes according to your requirement

You can't check this with code that runs on the server or via JavaScript in the web page.
Note that current Firefox version do not expose the built-in PDF Reader via the navigator.plugin array, so if you can't detect a plugin than maybe assume that the built-in PDF reader is used with Firefox version 19 and later.

OSB : How can we copy actions from one project folder to other projects?

How can we copy actions from one project folder to other projects in OSB?
For eg:
I have a service call out action in Project1/proxySer1
I want to copy this to Project2/proxySer2.
Espicially, in our case error handling callout is common to all of our projects and we should be able to copy from one to another.

It was my fault. I was on two different servers, while i was doing this and so didn't work. But copy /past action works as you suggested.
Can I select multiple actions from one stage and paste to different proxy service? I have too many options to copy/paste and hence I have this question.
Is there any other way of copying all selected actions in one stage to another, but not the complete stage itselft?

I read and do with sample at the View Controller Programming Guide . But when run it only view TabBar with title but haven't got any TabBarItem on it. I searched a few example about TabBar and i did, but i want do a form with a button then press on button it view a form with 2 TabBarItem on TabBar and press each TabBarItem will show correlative form page 1, page 2.

How to use same actions for differ pop-up

I am using 2 popup in a view.same popup's having same buttons 'Yes', 'No'.when i use 1st one i have to create an action for that Yes button where i put my code for that particular Action.
But when i used 2nd one the action define for that is not acceptable with differ name.it takes only standard one.
Now my Query is : How to use same actions for differ pop-up buttons with in a similar view?Where i put my code.

Take one integer value attribute in the context of view
when you r performing action on POP1 set it's value to 1
when you r performing action on POP2 set it's value to 2
create one method which receives integer argument, say diaplay(int a)
In the action call display(wdContext.currentContextElement().get<intvariable>()) by passing the value in the context attribute
in display() method, Check the value of integer variable..
if it is 1 then perform action related to POP1
if it is 2 then perform action related to POP2

For getting the row index use the following code.
DATA lo_nd_node TYPE REF TO if_wd_context_node.
DATA lo_el_node TYPE REF TO if_wd_context_element.
DATA index TYPE i.
* navigate from <CONTEXT> to <NODE> via lead selection
lo_nd_node = wd_context->get_child_node( name = wd_this->wdctx_node ).
lo_el_node = lo_nd_node->get_lead_selection( ).
index = lo_el_node->get_index( ).
node is the name of the node which is binded to the table.
For printing the message u can use code wizard.
Press ctrl-F7. Now Select generate message.
IN this select the method REPORT_SUCCESS
In the code now u can give index to Message text Exporting parameter. Comment receiving parameter.
Write the whole code in onLeadSelect of the table.

I have some suggestion one leave it as is and use a blending mode of multiply to give it a color background like this
leave it as is make it a grayscale tiff import int Illustrator and color it it in Illustrator like this
Or trace over it with the brush tool aand then give it a color ground.
Or do the original over and do a cleaner job with no tone or a minimum of tone. Then Live trace.

Well, the right arrow key will already move you to the next column, so the easiest way to do this is to modify the InputMap to have the Enter key invoke the same Action as the right arrow key.
You can search the forum for my "Table Actions" (without the space) example that will show you how to do this.

Are you referring to writing code within the onMessage method itself to receive JMS messages?
If so, that is not a pattern that is recommended, especially not in the case of a blocking JMS
receieve. If you must write an explicit JMS receive within an EJB component it's best to use
a "check the queue" approach where you give a very small timeout for the receive. That way
if the message is there it will be returned but if not the call will not block.
You'll also need to take the transactional settings of the onMessage method into account.
If your are sending a message and then waiting for a response, those two actions can
not be done within the same global transaction. For that, you'll need to either use
BMT and perform each in its own transaction or just not use global transactions at all,
in which case each send and receive operation will be atomic.

How to intercept clickToEdit action in af table?

Hello,
I am using EditingMode: clickToEdit in af table.
The functionality i am trying to achieve is when user clicks on table row then he can change some values. It is straight forward.
What is tricky is that i am looking to show LOV (af:selectOneChoice) in one of the attribute and the selection should depend on other attribute's value.
For example I have columns A and B.
if A value equals to 1 then B should show LOV only with selection of values 10,11,12
if A value equals to 2 then B should show LOV only with selection of values 21.22.23 etc. (this is simplify example in real it is more complected and LOV is depend on different parameters so harcoding different af:selectOneChoice elements and rendering only one is not the option - only dynamic LOV)
So depending on what row user clicks column B should show different list of values.
I am dancing around to find how to intercept clickToEdit action so i can dynamically change list of values - meanwhile unsuccessfully. The option is to create special popup for editing a row - but somehow i want to avoid this.
Any suggestions?

I think the problem is talking about cascading LOV. You don't need to intercept clickToEdit action.
You can search by google : "cascading LOV ADF"
