How to recognize form buttons in rows not columns

Hi,
I have a long questionnaire with 100 rows.
column one is the question.  Column 3, 4, 5, and 6 are buttons responses (none, mild, moderate, extreme).  Buttons meaning only one answer allowed per row.
There are headers for the buttons.    when converting this excel spreadsheet to adobe acrobat -- works.   But after creating a form the buttons are labeled by column not by row, so ... they are not true option buttons by row.   In other words, only one answer per column is allowed, the opposite of what I want.
How do I solve this?   I change this either by the initial format or some global change?  There are a total of 100 buttons.  Way too laborious to change each one of these individually.
Thank you.

thank you.  I agree.   I finally realized that acrobat is way too complex a format to use for forms.  Nevertheless, I need this one form.
If I persist, these are radio buttons that must be exclusive to one selection in each row.
So I repeat.    How can I get acrobat "forms editor" to discover these radio buttons across rows and not across columns?   Formatting each single button will be so laborious as to abort this project.  There must be a way.  There always is.
So much is written about formatting forms with acrobat.   So little is written how to actually handle the output.
thank you

How to know form is open or not or not in sap

    Hi
There is no such functionality where you can check that whether the form is open or not. you can only get the information of active form
if u want to get the information that form is open or not you have to code by yourself like declare a object of each form on the form load event set the value of that object and on form close event set the value of object to nothing. then you can check that if form object has some value then form is open else form is close.
    Hope i clear the point.

  • Web Form :Number of rows and columns

    Hi All,
I have a web form with many rows and columns . Is it possible for a user to view only a limited rows in the form ?  Not using Adhoc/Analyze option . since there are formula rows which wont appear in Analyze grid.
The user want to see only 5 to 10 random rows in the form  ? How to do this ?
    Please help.

I remember an option in 11.1 which allows users to dynamically add rows and I cannot find that in 11.1.2.2
I think the user will have to always update the user variable to what he want to see.

  • How to transpose the data records (rows) to column(lists) using apd

    Hi,
how to transpose the data records (rows) to column (lists) using apd  in sap bw.
I do not want to use abap routine.only use the transpose rows to list  transformation .
Pls provide the step by step procedure .
    thanks,
    Nimai

Save youe file to transpose as a csv and in the header row of your file for the columns you want to transpose you need to put some soer of a tag before the column name (ie your colum header was for a period budget will be something lie 2011001:ZFIBDD)
    1. You will need to create a new apd process (rsanwb)
    2. Insert a "Read from Data File" data source object and map it file (,csv)
    3. insert a transpose object into your apd process (middle row 4th one over in the transformations section)
    4. under the definition tab in the transformation object select all the columns that are to be transposed into rows and move them to the transformed area, the grouping fields section should contain the rows that you want to now be columns
5.under the transformation tab enter in the seperator you selected  under the Field Name/Infoobject area (ie. ZFIBDD)
    6. under the details tab  you need to enter in all the fields to be transformed and tner the transposition field (ie ZFIBDD)
    7. Then you can insert a set of transformations and a DSO and link the newly transposed fields into that.
    hope that helps

  • Custom tabular form for multi-row not saving data

Ok, before anyone asks, yes, I did read the how-to:-)
I have a custom tabular form, which I did cause I need to use popups and the popups that you can use in the wizard tabular form does not display the text but rather the value underneath it.
It returns data rather nicely and when I go and update values I can tell it is changing the fields underneath. I put a process in that will display the values in text fields on the form (for one row only) and I see them changing from what is already there and with the proper values.
However, when I do that the data that is displayed then gets reverted back to what it was previous to the update but reports that the process was successful.
I have also tried to insert but that is basically doing the same thing. Can anyone guide me.

    Florian,
Checkboxes are different from other HTML form items. When you have a text box for example, there's always a value send to the server when submitting. Even if that value is NULL. When you have a checkbox however, you only get the value if the checkbox is checked. It's not posted to the server when it is not checked. That's the general behavior of HTML forms and not specific to Oracle HTML DB.
When working with tabular forms in HTML DB, you can access your form values using the htmldb_application.g_f0x arrays. Now if you have for example 10 rows in your form, then you'll get ten elements in your array for text boxes, select lists, etc. For checkboxes however you'll only get as many elements as you have rows checked. If I read your update and insert code correctly, you're trying to use the checkbox arrays the same way you use the arrays based on other item types. My recommendation would be to use Yes/No select lists instead of checkboxes or at least use select lists initially to get it working and then work on properly processing the checkboxes.
Some general information about working with checkboxes in tabuar forms can be found here:

    Hope this helps,

  • How to show the buttons of Lotus Notes Application at the BlackBerry device?

    Hi,
At the company I work for we use BlackBerry with Lotus Domino 7.x. We have a Lotus Notes Application (LotusScript) that read information from Oracle db and send email messages to users. In the e-mail we have three buttons, when we click on, they start an Oracle package with web browser.  When the users read this message in the desktop, the buttons appears, but when they read it from Blackberry, they can’t see the buttons.
Any idea how to make these buttons show at the BlackBerry device?
    Thanks in advance,
    Andréa

    Hi,
I will explain more.At my company we have a workflow application. The users can approve and deny when they receive an email by Lotus Notes, because we have a lotus script that read information from the db oracle  and send email messages with the three buttons(approve, deny, question) for the users. The problem is when we read the email from BlackBerry, the buttons didn’t appear.
     The Os version is 4.2.2.175.
I have an image with the example. How can I send for you ?
    Thanks,

  • Question:   how to resize form buttons in a CSS

I have a question.   I am trying to implement some PayPal features into my website with some their custom button functionality.   In normal HTML, the buttons look fine.  But using a CSS template, the form buttons get squashed and funny looking.   Is there an easy way to resize them?

  • How to add a button as a report column

    Hi everyone,
I am trying to add a button in a report as a column, thus, as the button press, one of column at current row of the report will be filled. Does anyone know how to do it?
I knew I can do check box as a report column and create a button to process it But request hopes just one button for each row as result.
    Thanks!
    XW

I am not sure what you are trying to do exactly. Adding a button is something you can do for sure in a report ( make the PK column a link and define the link image as a button ), but am not sur what you want the button to do, is it something like <edit> that when you click on it it takes you to another page (form) to edit that record info ? if yes then this is also doable for sure....let me know

  • How to make form buttons do what they say?

I created a test form on a sqlquery and the HTMLDB created the items and buttons correctly. Afterwards I created a process on load before heade to retrieve a row from the DB if some items are populated.
What I wanted to know is:
1-How do I make the buttons do the thing they say?
2-Can someone explain what is the purpose, and how I use them, of the Database Manipulation Request that I can select in the button definition.
    Thanks,
    Eduardo
PS: There is anything more complete that the online documentation?

    Reise,
To see how things are supposed to work, create a report + form using the wizard on a single table with a primary key. Once completed, you'll run the report, click on an edit icon which takes you to a form, prepopulated with the data from the corresponding row. Because the primary key item has been set, the update button is shown and when you click update, and update will happen. Likewise, when you click delete, the row will be deleted. I think the problems you're having may be related to the fact that you're building a form on a SQL Query, which is quite rare and may require special tweaks.

  • How to make VM button call Voicemail (not Visual Voicemail) - T-Mobile

I have an iPhone 5 on T-Mobile, and the VM button takes me to non-functional visual voicemail. My wife has iPhone 5 too, also on T-Mobile, but her voicemail button calls her voicemail. How can I make my phone do that? (Because Visual Voicemail doesn't work)

What that button does is determined by the carrier file on your phone, there is no setting for you to change such. T-Mobile has enough iPhones on their network that I'm sure they have a way to deal with this. Have you gone to a T-Mobile store? If not, try doing so.

  • How to display a table with rows and columns?

    Hi All,
I am new to IPhone development,
In my app user has to pick date from control, I had used UIDatePicker but user cannot pick year from that. so I wanted to write my own calendar view i.e A table with 6x7 cells using UITable.
code snippet or any information on this will be appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Vashek

I don't believe that the UITable on the iPhone supports mutiple columns. It is just a list of table cells. Each cell can have its own subset of controls (views) and I suppose this may be one way to give you what you want. But it seems like it would almost be better just to make your own table -- a view that contains the grid of subviews -- and lay that out in the parent view.
I haven't had any experience with the UIDatePicker yet, though I can see it doesn't support year ... Why not build your own custom picker? It seems that would be a lot less hassle, and maybe more intuitive for the user, than building a full calendar view, especially if what you wanted initially was a picker anyway.
Edit: I feel bad ... I didn't read through all the modes of UIDatePicker -- it does have a mode that supports year (UIDatePickerModeDate).

Hi,The following sample report ZUS_SDN_ALV_BUTTON_CLICK_LTXT shows a possible way how to handle the BUTTON_CLICK event in order to retrieve a longtext for a ALV entry. Please note that for the sake of simplicity I have choosen an obsolete function module for text editing (only enter numerical values otherwise the function module crashes).
