How to register Custom Escalation class or project as a part of soa installer?

Hi,
I have written a custom class for human task escalation which is part of project i created which contains all libraries and other files related to escalation.
To test it i manually put in oracle.soa.ext jar inside soa module in weblogic server.
However i want to register it using java class using some API.
Please help.

Take a look at the following blog article:
http://jamesmacesp.wordpress.com/2009/12/14/provisioning-sharepoint-sites-with-feature-receivers-part-1/
Add your custom page normally using a module entry in the feature.  But apply it as the default welcome page using the event receiver.

    Hi,
    You may or may not need to "register" the workflow - it depends on the changes that you made and which Item Type you modified. Some applications are essentially hard-coded to use a specific item type and process, some hard-coded to use an item type but you can configure the process to use, and some allow you to specify which item type and which process to use.
    Without knowing exactly what you have done, though, there is no specific advice that anyone can give you here on what you need to do, apart from to ensure that you have saved the new definition to the database.

  • How to implement custom Model Class in Oracle ADF?

    I am using Oracle ADF for one of my project and i am using Query component of ADF. For given tables the query component creates view objects and maps the relations. ADF uses its own custom model class for this component and it should understand the DB tables. But for my project i have no access to database. All i can do is pass a string or object/query to the existing (custom) Java class/object, and this model class formulates query and queries the database and returns the value to my Java class. I have to display these results using ADF to the front end. Is There a way to achieve this? Can i replace/override the existing Model class of ADF. If so how?
    Thanks in advance for your help.

    Hi, there:
    Best thing to do is to start with the default login.html page, and then modify it. The login screen is fairly complex and it's easy to just miss a JS function you need to call. To get to default page, you would need to do one deploy (to simulator or whatever), and then look for login.html page in the temporary Xcode or Android project generated from the deployment. It should be under the "deploy" directory in your JDev workspace.
    You can also see all the framework JS files and CSS files that way as well.
    We have had customers implementing custom login screen so we know it can work, but they all had to start with the default login screen and then modify it.

  • How to register custom FacesPageLifecycle?

    Hi,
    In 10G, to customize the way errors are presented to the users I was extending ADFPhaseListener to provide my custom FacesPageLifecycle.
    However, in 11G ADFPhaseListener is marked as deprecated saying that to customize the lifecycle I must register a listener in adf-config.xml.
    This does not tell me how to register a custom page lifecycle. The latest developer's guide is still referring the SRDemo way (see section 37.3.1).
    What is the 11G way of achieving this?
    Thanx!

    This works for me in TP2.
    package test.view;
    import oracle.adf.controller.v2.lifecycle.PagePhaseEvent;
    import oracle.adf.controller.v2.lifecycle.PagePhaseListener;
    public class MyPagePhaseListener implements PagePhaseListener
       public void afterPhase(PagePhaseEvent event)
          System.out.println("In afterPhase " + event.getPhaseId());
       public void beforePhase(PagePhaseEvent event)
          System.out.println("In beforePhase " + event.getPhaseId());
    }and the adf-config.xml file entry:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="windows-1252" ?>
    <adf-config xmlns="http://xmlns.oracle.com/adf/config"
                xmlns:sec="http://xmlns.oracle.com/adf/security/config">

  • How to create custom java class in Content Server

    Hi All,
    I want to develop a custom java class (.class) file and upload in the UCM(Stellent Content Server). The problem is that I have to use some objects like DataResultSet, SharedObjects etc in my java class file. Since these class files resides in the Content Server I am not able to create a custom java class with these objects.
    Can any one help me to solve the above issue
    With thanks and regards
    Mohan

    Hey there,
    All of the core content server class files are included in a single jar file. This jar is in one of 2 places in the 10gr3 version of UCM:
    1. If you have an unpatched content server include $IntradocDir/shared/classes/server.zip in your classpath
    2. If you have a patched content server include $IntradocDir/custom/CS10gR35CoreUpdate/classes.jar in your classpath.
    In UCM 11g the jar file is located in %MIDDLEWARE_HOME%/Oracle_ECM1/ucm/idc/jlib/idcserver.jar
    P.S. Venkat is correct, post UCM specific questions in the ECM forum.
    Hope that helps,

  • How to create customer report class

    Hi all,
    As per my requirement i have to create customer report class.
    can u plz give ur suggestions regarding this.
    Regards
    Rama.

    Bala this is my question.
    Use the IMG to create a customer report class 000000## (where nn = group number) for the logical database PNP. Sorting and matchcodes are permitted and the start and end dates are permitted entries for both the data selection period and the person selection period.
    Select the following fields for the first page of the SELECT-OPTIONS:
    u2022 Personnel number
    u2022 Employment status
    u2022 Company code
    u2022 Personnel subareas
    u2022 Employee group
    u2022 Employee subgroup
    u2022 Cost center
    1-2 Assign the new report class to your report.

  • How can my custom DCErrorHandler class throw/handle an exception?

    I had written a custom DCErrorHandler extending the DCErrorhandlerImpl as similar as shown in SRDemo example.
    Assume that i have a method authenticateUser() in AppmoduleService Class calling from Backing Bean.java where in i encountered ArrayOutOfBoundsException. So how can i catch this exception without using try catch block? if i use
    try{
    authenticateUser();
    catch(Exception eX)
    {} the exception is well-handled.Then what exactly my customErrorHandler class doing?
    Do the above customErrorHandler class help in this case by replacing try-catch?

    From where my customErrorHandler's methods are invoked.
    If i want to do it exlicitly from any method of my backing bean class can i do it?
    LoginBackingBean.java
    public String loginButton_Action()
    ArrayList userDetailsList = null;
    LoginService service = (LoginService)ADFUtils.getLoginServiceInterface();
    if(service != null)
    userDetailsList = service.checkUserLoginDetails(getUsername(), getPassword());
    if(userDetailsList != null && userDetailsList.size()>0) {
    JSFUtils.storeOnSession("key_loggedUserDetails",userDetailsList);
    return "success";
    else
    JSFUtils.addFacesErrorMessage("You have entered an invalid User name and/or Password.");
    return "wrongLogin";
    else{
    return "wrongLogin";
    Now assume that i have customDCErrorHandler class and also assume that an exception will be thrown ..say ArrayOutOfBoundException.
    if i keep the above code in try and catch block the user login screen is remained as it is by catching the exception.
    if i remove the try and catch block user screen if filled up with so many debugging messages as shown : "500 Internal Server Error
    javax.faces.FacesException: #{login.loginButton_Action}: javax.faces.el.EvaluationException: java.lang.IndexOutOfBoundsException: Index: 1, Size: 0     at com.sun.faces.application.ActionListenerImpl.processAction(ActionListenerImpl.java:98)     at oracle.adf.view.faces.component.UIXCommand.broadcast(UIXCommand.java:211)     at javax.faces.component.UIViewRoot.broadcastEvents(UIViewRoot.java:287)     at javax.faces.component.UIViewRoot.processApplication(UIViewRoot.java:401)     at com.sun.faces.lifecycle.InvokeApplicationPhase.execute(InvokeApplicationPhase.java:95)     at com.sun.faces.lifecycle.LifecycleImpl.phase(LifecycleImpl.java:245)     at com.sun.faces.lifecycle.LifecycleImpl.execute(LifecycleImpl.java:110)     at javax.faces.webapp.FacesServlet.service(FacesServlet.java:213)
    So can we avoid this by using my customDCErrorHandler ???? If so i need a sample code.
    More over if i use a customDCErrorHandler class,
    Do i need to bother about the exceptions occuring in the application?

    Yes, I found the difference of the invoking process API and was able to invoke bpel process using direct and ADF-BC binding by following Edwin's blog. But I have not found any official reference to compare this API difference between 10g and 11g ( I will mark this question as answered if anyone can find an official source from oracle, need to prove it to the team). The API to work with human task workflow seems pretty much the same between 10g and 11g.

  • How to register cwui.ocx in Windows 7

    Hello,

    Howdy Richard,
    I copied over the cwui.ocx (and its dependencies), from MStudio 8.1.2.143 to a machine with Windows 7 installed. I then manually tried registering the ActiveX control using Regsvr32.exe cwui.ocx. It failed with errors if I did not run the command prompt as an administrator; once I ran the command prompt as an administrator and then registered the ActiveX with administrative access, it registered properly. Thus, I believe this's a permissions issue.
    Confirm that you're running all of this with Administrative privileges (Windows 7 is very particular about its permissions for each program), and I bet that's the culprit.
    Hi
    I'm having the same problem with another *.ocx file. Could you tell me how I can check the its dependencies before copy pasting it?

    In the Help Menu the given following discription to Add the Event Listener call
    Web Application WAR File -> Event Listeners tabbed pane
         1. Click Add to add an event listener to the Event Listener Classes list.
         Locate any event listener classes contained in this WAR file in the drop-down list in the Event Listener Classes      pane.
         (note:There is no any drop-down list in in the Event Listener Classes pane.)
    2. If the event listener class is not in the list, in the General tab, click Edit and to go to the Edit Contents      dialog box where the event listener class can be added to the contents of the WAR file. Upon return the event      listener class will be in the pull-down list.

    How could i resolved this , i mean how to add Event Listener Classes in project ?
    (Same problem while adding error page and filter classes which are also present in the General tab)

    I suggest using NetBeans IDE 5.5, which integrates easily with various appservers, including Sun Java System Application Server.
