How to remove override after importation of XML automatically

Does anyone know of the best way to automate the removeoverride concept after importation of XML into an InDesign template without manually threading to a new page.
I am trying to write a batch program that will create multiple XML files and then generate an InDesign document for each XML file from a predefined InDesign template file that is already mapped to the XML structure.

    It goes something like this, taken from the above blog entry:
    Removing a node from node-list
    With the bpelx: extensions in BPEL you are able to insert and update nodes in a node list. A node-list is an XML message that contains a set of records. In this article I use the following example:
    <BookList xmlns="http://message.vijfhuizen.com">
    <Book>
    <title>The Lord Of The Rings</title>
    <author>J.R.R. Tolkien</author>
    </Book>
    <Book>
    <title>Harry Potter</title>
    <author>J.R.R. Tolkien</author>
    </Book>
    <Book>
    <title>The Hobbit</title>
    <author>J.R.R. Tolkien</author>
    </Book>
    <Book>
    <title>Storm; Chronicals of Pandarve</title>
    <author>Don Lawrence</author>
    </Book>
    </BookList>
    For creating and updating node lists the bpelx: functions are enough to handle this. But when you want to remove a particular node, you can use the bpelx:remove function. But this function can only remove a node from a particular position. For example removing the second node you code:
    <bpel:assign>
    <bpelx:remove>
    <bpelx:target variable="VarBookList" query="/Booklist/Book[2]" />
    </bpelx:append>
    </bpel:assign>
    It is hard to code the bpelx:remove to create a xpath to dynamicly remove node. You would like to remove the second node based on the xpath:
    /Booklist/Book[title="Harry Potter" and author="J.R.R. Tolkien"]
    You can add the above xpath in the bpelx:remove, but you are not able to make this dynamically.
    There is a solution. The trick is to create a stylesheet that copies the data into a new message, but removing that particular records. Create a stylesheet that does the normal copy of the XML message. Then add a <choose> element in the stylsheet to filter that particular record.
    <xsl:template match="/">
    <BookList>
    <xsl:for-each select="/BookList/Book">
    <xsl:choose>
    <xsl:when test="title='Harry Potter' and author='J.R.R. Tolkien'"/>
    <xsl:otherwise>
    <Book>
    <title>
    <xsl:value-of select="title"/>
    </title>
    <author>
    <xsl:value-of select="author"/>
    </author>
    </Book>
    </xsl:otherwise>
    </xsl:choose>
    </xsl:for-each>
    </BookList>
    Now we have a XSL stylesheet that removes a particular record, but this is not variable. This can be done via XSLT parameters.
    <xsl:param name="pTitle"/>
    <xsl:param name="pAuthor"/>
    <xsl:template match="/">
    <BookList>
    <xsl:for-each select="/BookList/Book">
    <xsl:choose>
    <xsl:when test="title=$pTitle and author=$pAuthor"/>
    <xsl:otherwise>
    <Book>
    <title>
    <xsl:value-of select="title"/>
    </title>
    <author>
    <xsl:value-of select="author"/>
    </author>
    </Book>
    </xsl:otherwise>
    </xsl:choose>
    </xsl:for-each>
    </BookList>
    </xsl:template>
    Now we are able to use this stylesheet in BPEL. In general BPEL create the following code:
    <assign name="Transform">
    <bpelx:annotation>
    <bpelx:pattern>transformation</bpelx:pattern>
    </bpelx:annotation>
    <copy>
    <from expression="ora:processXSLT('RemoveNode.xsl'
    , bpws:getVariableData('Variable_BookList','payload')" />
    <to variable="Variable_BookListTemp" part="payload"/>
    </copy>
    </assign>
    But this code does not pass parameters to the stylesheet. The ora:processXSLT() can do this it has an additional parameter in this function:
    <assign name="Transform">
    <bpelx:annotation>
    <bpelx:pattern>transformation</bpelx:pattern>
    </bpelx:annotation>
    <copy>
    <from expression="ora:processXSLT('RemoveNode.xsl'
    , bpws:getVariableData('Variable_BookList','payload')" />
    , bpws:getVariableData('BPELxslparameters'))"/>
    <to variable="Variable_BookListTemp" part="payload"/>
    </copy>
    </assign>
    Now only you have to create the BPELxslparameters variable and assign it with the correct name/value pairs. The structure of the this variable is as follows:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="windows-1252" ?>
    <xsd:schema xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema"
    xmlns="http://schemas.oracle.com/service/bpel/common"
    targetNamespace="http://schemas.oracle.com/service/bpel/common"
    elementFormDefault="qualified">
    <xsd:element name="parameters">
    <xsd:complexType>
    <xsd:sequence>
    <xsd:element name="item" minOccurs="1" maxOccurs="unbounded">
    <xsd:complexType>
    <xsd:sequence>
    <xsd:element name="name" type="xsd:string"/>
    <xsd:element name="value" type="xsd:string"/>
    </xsd:sequence>
    </xsd:complexType>
    </xsd:element>
    </xsd:sequence>
    </xsd:complexType>
    </xsd:element>
    </xsd:schema>
    Create in BPEL the variable BPELxslparameters and let it point to this strucure:
    <process ....
    xmlns:common="http://schemas.oracle.com/service/bpel/common"
    .../>
    <variable name="BPELparameters" element="common:parameters"/>
    Now we can in BPEL create an empty XML message, based on this strcuture and assign the values to these parameters and then call the processXSLT function.
    <bpelx:assign name="Assign_GenerateEmptyParameterSet">
    <copy>
    <from>
    <parameters xmlns="http://schemas.oracle.com/service/bpel/common">
    <item>
    <name>pTitle</name>
    <value/>
    </item>
    <item>
    <name>pAutor</name>
    <value/>
    </item>
    </parameters>
    </from>
    <to variable="BPELparameters" query="/common:parameters"/>
    </copy>
    </bpelx:assign>
    <assign name="Assign_setXSLTParameters">
    <copy>
    <from expression="'Harry Potter'"/>
    <to variable="BPELparameters" query="/common:parameters/common:item[1]/common:value"/>
    </copy>
    <copy>
    <from expression="'J.R.R. Tolkien'"/>
    <to variable="BPELparameters" query="/common:parameters/common:item[1]/common:value"/>
    </copy>
    </assign>

  • How to remove extra spaces in a xml formatted string

    Hi,
    I am trying to remove extra spaces between the xml tags. For
    example, if a string is something like
    ' <header 1> <header 2> test </header 2> </header1>'
    I want to get rid of the spaces only between the closing tag of header 1 and opening tag of header 2 and closing tag of header 2 and opening tag of header 1, in short ,I want to remove the extra spaces between the tags if there are no other characters between them. I do not want the remove the spaces between closing tag header 2 and opening tag of header ,as there is occurence of other characters.
    I am aware that this can be done by looping through the string and using instr to identify the characters '<' and '>', but I would like to use it as a last resort only.
    Can anyone suggest me a better way of doing it in a single go by manipulating the data?
    Any help is really appreciated.
    Regards,
    Anil.

    You can use the replace function. If you only expect one extra space, then:
    scott@ORA92> select replace ('<header 1> <header 2> test </header 2> </header1>',
    2      '><', '><')
    3 from dual
    4 /
    REPLACE('<HEADER1><HEADER2>TEST</HEADER2></HEADER
    <header 1> <header 2> test </header 2> </header1>
    If you expect more extra spaces, then you will need to wrap another replace function around it for each space, for example the following will eliminate up to three spaces:
    scott@ORA92> select replace (replace (replace ('<header 1> <header 2> test </header 2> </header1>',
    2      '>     <', '><'), '>     <', '><'), '> <', '><')
    3 from dual
    4 /
    REPLACE(REPLACE(REPLACE('<HEADER1><HEADER2>TEST
    <header 1><header 2> test </header 2></header1>

  • How to remove modules after installation

    Hi;
    Picture this please, u are making r11 installation and while u are making installation on Lisence Produts step you click Finance,Logistic etc.. modules and then you complite your installation wihtout any problem.
    After installation functional person comes and start to make their setup on EBS for all modules which is installed... After sometimes they notice The client doesnt need Logistic module, client side give wrong information about modules and person who made installation of EBS click Logistic wiht client wrong information.
    The question is:
    1. We can remove modules after installation?
    2. Is it better way to make new installation (Imagine fonctional is already work more than 2 months,if we make new instalaltion its mean we lose 2 months)
    3. If we can remove it can affect other module setups?
    Thanks for advice
    Regards

    Hi,
    1. We can remove modules after installation?No.
    2. Is it better way to make new installation (Imagine fonctional is already work more than 2 months,if we make new instalaltion its mean we lose 2 months)It would be making a fresh installation or restoring from a backup to a point before this module was licensed.
    3. If we can remove it can affect other module setups?There is no direct and supported way to achieve this. However, you may log a SR and see if Oracle can help about this.

  • Mapping question - how to remove empty recordsets from output XML?

    Hello everyone!
    I have a mapping problem I hope you can help me out with.
    Here is an example of the source message:
    <IDOC>
    .    <HEAD>
    .    </HEAD>
    .    <DET>
    .    .    <Node>
    .    .    .    <nodeA>001</nodeA>
    .    .    .    <nodeB>OA</nodeB>
    .    .    </Node>
    .    .    <Node>
    .    .    .    <nodeB>OB</nodeB>
    .    .    </Node>
    .    .    <Node>

    .    .    .    <nodeB>OC</nodeB>
    .    .    </Node>
    .    </DET>
    </IDOC>
    After testing the above XML in the message mapping, here's what my target looks like:
    <FILE>
    .    .    <Rec>
    .    .    .    <nA>001</nA>
    .    .    .    <nB>OA</nB>

    .    .    <Rec>
    .    .    .    <nA>002</nA>
    .    .    .    <nB>OC</nB>
    .    .    </Rec>
    </FILE>
    "Node" in the "source" message is mapped to "Rec" in my "target" message.
    "Node=" -
    > "Rec"
    You may notice the the "Rec" in the second entry has empty fields. The reason this is so is because I put an "IF" condition in field "nA" and field "nB" that checks whether "nodeA" in the "source" exists/has a value, and if it doesn't, empty values should be given.
    Here's my problem, I need the XML output to be clean. All empty Recs should be removed from the Output XML so that it resembles the one below:
    <FILE>
    .    .    <Rec>
    .    .    .    <nA>001</nA>
    .    .    .    <nB>OA</nB>
    .    .    </Rec>
    .    .    <Rec>
    .    .    .    <nA>002</nA>
    .    .    .    <nB>OC</nB>
    .    .    </Rec>
    </FILE>
    I've tried several ways to get this done to no avail. Would anyone be able to help me out? I would really, really appreciate it!
    Warm regards,
    Glenn

  • How To Remove Empty Node From Source XML

    Hi,
    How can I remove an empty node from the source xml in a XSLT mapping.
    For e.g. If the source xml is like:
    <SRC>
    <Node1>SAP</Node2>
    <Node2/>
    <Node3>XI</Node3>
    </SRC>
    Then the xml should become:
    <SRC>
    <Node1>SAP</Node2>
    <Node3>XI</Node3>
    </SRC>
    I need to do this because the output of my XSLT mapping is showing blank spaces for each blank node.
    Thanks,
    Abhishek.

    Use <xsl:if>
    Or else you may find different options here

  • Given some xml and an xsd, how to remove extra stuff in the xml.

    Hi. I have a question. I am trying to use the various XML libraries to parse/validate an xml file given an XSD schema. I want to remove the extra stuff in the xml to output a new xml. The problem is as I validate or parse the SAXParseException it produce only gives me the localName. Is there a way I can keep track of something detail like the XPath as I validate or parse??? Thank for the help in advanced

    forgot to mention. Basically, I want to try to validate and find all the errors in the an old xml, then be able to fix the errors to end up having an valid xml file.

  • How to remove padding after RSA decryption??

    Hello,
    I am testing my host apps ability to read public key that was saved in file after being exported from smart card where it was generated.
    I have successfully used the private key on card to encrypt a small piece of data and the cryptogram is returned to the host.
    On host side I retrieve public key from file and decrypt ciphertext
    The on-card alg for Cipher is declared as follows-
    RSAcipher = Cipher.getInstance(Cipher.ALG_RSA_PKCS1, true);and in the host app
    Cipher rsaCipher = Cipher.getInstance("RSA","BC");I can see from what is returned from
    byte[] decrypted = rsaCipher.doFinal(this.encryptedData);that the correct data is being returned, but is is padded by
    01FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF
    FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF
    FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF
    FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF
    FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF
    FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF
    FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF00How do I know where the padding ends and the plaintext begins?
    Can anyone help me with this?
    Thanks in advance,
    Ann

    Hi!
    I have the same problem like you.
    But my problem is that i don,t know how to move the key across. I manege to create a pair of keys public and private using RSA Algorithm.
    privateKey = KeyBuilder.buildKey(KeyBuilder.TYPE_RSA_PRIVATE,KeyBuilder.LENGTH_RSA_512,false);
            publicKey = KeyBuilder.buildKey(KeyBuilder.TYPE_RSA_PUBLIC,KeyBuilder.LENGTH_RSA_512,true);
                        // KeyPair creation
                        if(keyPair == null){
                            keyPair = new KeyPair(KeyPair.ALG_RSA, (short)publicKey.getSize());
                        // starts key generation process
                        keyPair.genKeyPair();
                      publicKey = keyPair.getPublic();
                        privateKey = keyPair.getPrivate();
                         cipher = Cipher.getInstance(ALG_RSA_NO_PAD, false );then i send the modulus and exponent part of the public key to host
                 byte    keyElement = (byte)(apduBuffer[ISO7816.OFFSET_P2] & 0xFF);
                     // check correct type (modulus or exponent)
                     if((keyElement != 0x00) && (keyElement != 0x01))
                         ISOException.throwIt(ISO7816.SW_INCORRECT_P1P2);
                     // check elements request
                     if(keyElement == 0) {
                         // retrieve modulus
                         apduBuffer[0] = (byte)((RSAPublicKey)publicKey).getModulus(apduBuffer, (short)1);
                     } else
                         // retrieve exponent
                        apduBuffer[0] = (byte)((RSAPublicKey)publicKey).getExponent(apduBuffer, (short)1);
                     // send the key element
                     apdu.setOutgoingAndSend((short)0, (short)((apduBuffer[0] & 0xFF) + 1));I decrypt the data as follow in the card
          byte[] apduBuffer = apdu.getBuffer();
          if(!privateKey.isInitialized())
                            ISOException.throwIt(ISO7816.SW_CONDITIONS_NOT_SATISFIED);
          cipher.init(privateKey,Cipher.MODE_DECRYPT);
          apdu.setIncomingAndReceive();
         cipher.doFinal(apduBuffer, (short)ISO7816.OFFSET_CDATA, (short)(apduBuffer[ISO7816.OFFSET_LC] & 0xFF), apduBuffer, (short)0);
        apdu.setOutgoingAndSend((short)0, (short)(KeyBuilder.LENGTH_RSA_512/8));
       in host i encrypt data as follow
    // Note modulus and exponent are arrays of bytes from the card
        BigInteger modulus = new BigInteger(1,modulus);
        BigInteger exponent =new BigInteger(1,exponent);
        cipher = Cipher.getInstance("RSA");
    RSAPublicKeySpec pubKeySpec = new RSAPublicKeySpec(modulus,exponent);
    keyFactory = KeyFactory.getInstance("RSA");
    pubKey = keyFactory.generatePublic(pubKeySpec);
    cipher.init(Cipher.ENCRYPT_MODE,pubKey);
    byte[] p = cipher.doFinal(data);

    Stabilize, not warp stabilize the shot, make your corrections on a separate layer, then re-introduce the motion to the shot and add it to the new layer. Here's the basic technique on a completely different type of shot.
    If there is a big parallax shift in your shot then this technique may not work. If it doesn't work then show is the shot and we can make some other suggestions.
