How to remove the admin password in hp lj 600 m602

when we go in preboot menue for updating the frimware we have to select the administrator but its asking for password.with out  going in admin how to  update the frimware ?

Looks like you replaced the hard disk.  There is no admin password so I would assume you are not doing the procedure correctly.  See the link below for doing firmware load using usb thumb drive which is the easiest way. http://h20564.www2.hp.com/hpsc/doc/public/display?docId=emr_na-c03176293#N10404

  • Would like to remove the Admin. password

iMac, OS X Maverick (10.9.1).  Being alone , I don't need the Admin. password.
    How can I remove it?

Go to the users and groups pane and set the password to be blank.  You of course need to know the old admin password to do this.
Note: I strongly recommend you do NOT do this, as if your machine is lost or stolen you're giving away the farm, but it's your choice.

  • How to reset the admin password for Mac OSX 10.5.8

I have a 2008 Macbook Leopard version of the Mac OSX 10.5.8.  My DVD optical drive does not open, and I need to reset the admin password because we have forgotten what it is.  Wondering if it is possible doing it at home some step by step process I am fine with deleting all the contents saved on the macbook as well.

Not without the optical drive. You would need to insert the install disc to reset the admin password.
But you may be able to do this in single user mode >  10.5: Reset a user's password in single user mode - Mac OS X Hints

  • How to recover the admin password

Enabling the parental control function has changed the admin status to a managed one which was not intended.
How can I recover the admin status? I have tried to follow a few instructions found in the internet that suggested to use the single mode, but I could not find the necessary admin files that needed to be removed so that the Admin Assistant program would start at booting. Instead, the system is not starting at all.
How can I solve this problem?

    Chong007,
boot into Recovery mode by holding down ⌘R as your MacBook Pro starts up. When the OS X Utilities menu appears on your desktop, select Utilities from your menu bar, and from there select Terminal. In Terminal, run the following command:
    resetpassword
Follow its instructions, and your administrative user’s password will be changed accordingly. Exit Terminal, then select Restart from the Apple menu to reboot into normal mode. When the login screen appears, log in as your administrative user, and then reset your administrative user’s password keychain so that it won’t constantly ask you for your administrative user’s password when you need to do administrative tasks.
If you  find that your administrative user is still parentally managed, you could reboot into Single User mode, and enter the following commands there:
    /sbin/mount -uw /
    /bin/rm -f /var/db/.AppleSetupDone
    /sbin/reboot
These should allow you to create a new administrative user, from which you should be able to reset your original administrative user to a non-managed state.

  • How to remove the BIOS password on Satellite M40

I'm looking for the the master Bios password or how can I reset the Bios password of Satellite M-40.
I forget my Bios password and I can't used my laptop any more.
    Please I need the help

I've got bad news for you... :( the BIOS password cannot be removed easily.
As far as I know only the ASP (Toshiba authorized service provider) can remove the unknown BIOS password...
Therefore I don't see any other solution as to contact the local ASP and to ask for the password removing.
    Bye & good luck

  • How to remove the BIOS password on Satellite Pro M10

    Hi
any body can help me to fix my problem with my Satellite Pro M10?
    Need power on password.
I try to entering the old password but it can't accept.
I was trying to used dongle with DB25 port, but it can't successfully.
I have removed the BIOS battery; not my problem out
There is any body can help me?
    thank's
    Irwan

    Hello Irwan
As you can see there is no much to do and only service can help you. I am really wondering that people here believe that removing CMOS battery will help. It is not the desktop and some things on laptops work a little bit different.
One more thing for you and all people who want to remove BIOS alone. BIOS password removing procedure is not the same for all notebook models. For some models it is so complicated and works similar like on mobile phone. To delete existing password you need to enter special generated code using special tools.
Please contact nearest service provider in your country and they will help you. If the notebook is your private property and if you are owner it should not be the problem.

  • Satellite M - How to remove the BIOS password?

    Hello.
I forgot my BIOS password. I tried doing everything from introducing some default passwords like 'toshiba' 'phoenix' holding the left shift key while booting to disassembling my laptop and finding my BIOS battery to remove it.
The problem is that my battery is glued on my motherboard and I don't know what to do. I heard that there should be some jumpers near the battery that could help me but I cannont find them.
I am desperated ....what can I do?
    please help me
    thank you.

Default password doesnt exist and there is no magic default password that can remove existing one. Removing BIOS battery will not help at all. On notebooks it will not work so forget it.
BIOS password can be removed by ASP only so contact nearest ASP and they will help you.
Theory with jumper is also not correct because BIOS removal procedure is not the same for every notebook model.
Sorry but ASP is your only way to remove BIOS password.

  • How do I change the admin password in SJSWS 7.0?

I've googled this, searched the forums, read the manual, but I haven't found anything that explained how to change the admin password for SJSWS 7.0. So, right now I'm stuck with "adminadmin" as the password, which I think is the default since I don't remember specifying that during install. Clearly I can't use this in production with the default admin password... sorry if this is a rtfm question, but I really didn't see anything in the manual about changing the admin password. Thanks!

You could use the following CLI command:-
    wadm> set-admin-prop --set-password
    More information about the command:-
    http://docs.sun.com/app/docs/doc/819-3283/set-admin-prop-1?a=view
You could also use Administration console-
    - Login to the Administration Console and click on the Nodes tab
    - In the Nodes page, click on the Administration Server link within the Nodes table
    - Go to "Administration Server Preferences" section in the General page and change the password

We're assuming that the user's hardware signature line is correct and accurate, the OP may very well have upgraded to Lion and/or Mt. Lion.
Or, you can just use the Google machine on the Internet device and search for the article that explains how to reset the admin password for Snow Leopard - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1274

  • Recover the admin password

    Hi,
How to recover the admin password.

One of the setup options for vFDD is to enable SMTP and setup the SMTP email address.  If this has been done, at the login screen user can click on the "Forgot Your Password" link.  You will be prompted with a dialogue to enter your username and an email will be sent to that username to help you reset your password.  This process works for System Admin account as well.
If you have not configured SMTP email, then you must reinstall vFDD.
