How to replace images?

Hi all..
I have a vector of images and each individual images are display in JLabel. When double clicked any of the images, it able to change the image from the file chooser. I have a problem here: whenever i clicked one image so as to change the picture it only change the last index of the images and not the corresponding images. Why itz so? Anyone can help. Thanks.

Actually this is how it works:
1. First, the user will select a text file and a folder where all the images are store
2. Then it will generate an array of images and the particulars that took from the text file.
So the current image displayed is by array...

jump() function opens an popup, but I am calling another function movepic() onclick of the image, where I am replacing the original image with another image, here is the function:

Popup is opening correctly but the image does not changes, and it is not showing any error also.

I have changed the code
now I am passing the rownum as the parameter to the movepic function
that function is working actually but when I click on edit image it is not replacing with the another image, but after clicking it is not showing any thing in place of edit image.
movepic function is here:

I think the problem is with the img_src variable, in which I am assigning the image source.
Please check it, if it is correct.

Using Pages for iPad, how to replace images

Hi.
I'm new to Pages. I have created a Pages document with text and photos. I'd like to create more documents using the same basic format. I'd like to be able to click on a photo and choose a new image without the image size changing in the document. I thought I had tried this from a pages template on my friend's ipad but I can't figure it out now that I have my own ipad. Any help appreciated.

These are merge fields.
A double tap on them selects all and then you can type whatever you want in their place.

If it's the splash screen you speak of, a custom skin defining these selectors may work - af|document::splash-screen, af|document::splash-screen-content, af|document::splash-screen-message and af|document::splash-screen-icon.
Please note that I have not tried these myself.

Why can't we replace images in photo stream?

Shared photo streams could be great, but it has a big downside because we cannot replace images in it. How many times haven't I uploaded images that I later wanted to edit? But the only way to replace an image is to delete it and upload a new one. It will appear at the end of the stream as a new project, and all comments will disappear.
Please give us a better way to replace images, that makes it possible to keep the original place in the photo stream, and keep the comments.

How to replace null as 0 in obiee11g pivot table view?

I am using obiee11g pivot table view,
I have tried so many views but it's not work. My oracle support team also tired but could not solve it
1.) used BIN method is that measure columns
2.) ifnull(column name,0)
3.) case condition:
Case when columns is NULL then 0 else column end
4) data formate override custom formate option
It seems that the syntax for this custom format is positive-value-mask (semi colon) negative-value-mask (semi colon) null-mask. So this means we have a few options.
E.g. if you want zeros (0) instead of null then enter:
#,##0;-#,##0;0

I don't want to show strike-rate and custom message in that blank cell. I want to show blank cell(null values) as 0 in the obiee11g pivot table view.

I tried this on 11.1.1.6.2 but I can't see good results.
I choose subject area A-Sample Sales and I choose:
T02 per Name Month on rows
P1 Product on columns
Measure : IFNULL("Simple Calculations"."17 Net Costs", 0)
Prompted Year 2008
On product Install and 2008/01 there isn't value...and I put Ifnull in my formula...
My problem is that I want to do a conditional format when Product = Install. So I have all column with background colour except Null values...so is not pretty...
If I add custom numeric format I can see 0 but not with background colour...

How to replace or upgrade a drive in a laptop
Step One: Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions
Boot from your OS X Installer disc. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue button. When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Installer menu (Utilities menu for Tiger, Leopard or Snow Leopard.) After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the installer.
If DU reports errors it cannot fix, then you will need Disk Warrior and/or Tech Tool Pro to repair the drive. If you don't have either of them or if neither of them can fix the drive, then you will need to reformat the drive and reinstall OS X.
Step Two: Remove the old drive and install the new drive. Place the old drive in an external USB enclosure. You can buy one at OWC who is also a good vendor for drives.
Step Three: Boot from the external drive. Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager appears. Select the icon for the external drive then click on the downward pointing arrow button.
Step Four: New Hard Drive Preparation
1. Open Disk Utility in your Utilities folder.
2. After DU loads select your new hard drive (this is the entry with the mfgr.'s ID and size) from the left side list. Note the SMART status of the drive in DU's status area. If it does not say "Verified" then the drive is failing or has failed and will need replacing. Otherwise, click on the Partition tab in the DU main window.
3. Under the Volume Scheme heading set the number of partitions from the drop down menu to one. Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Click on the Options button, set the partition scheme to GUID then click on the OK button. Click on the Partition button and wait until the process has completed.
4. Select the volume you just created (this is the sub-entry under the drive entry) from the left side list. Click on the Erase tab in the DU main window.
5. Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Click on the Options button, check the button for Zero Data and click on OK to return to the Erase window.
6. Click on the Erase button. The format process can take up to several hours depending upon the drive size.
Step Five: Clone the old drive to the new drive
1. Open Disk Utility from the Utilities folder.
2. Select the destination volume from the left side list.
3. Click on the Restore tab in the DU main window.
4. Check the box labeled Erase destination.
5. Select the destination volume from the left side list and drag it to the Destination entry field.
6. Select the source volume from the left side list and drag it to the Source entry field.
7. Double-check you got it right, then click on the Restore button.
Destination means the new internal drive. Source means the old external drive.
Step Six: Open the Startup Disk preferences and select the new internal volume. Click on the Restart button. You should boot from the new drive. Eject the external drive and disconnect it from the computer.

How to replace finder blocks when upgrading old CMP descriptors?

I have rather old (WL server 6?) descriptors in my hands. The weblogic-cmp-rdbms-jar.xml follows the DTD from http://www.bea.com/servers/wls600/dtd/weblogic-rdbms11-persistence-600.dtd, which includes the finder definitions. I'd like to upgrade the description to follow this schema: http://www.bea.com/ns/weblogic/910/weblogic-rdbms20-persistence.xsd
Otherwise it's quite understandable, straight-forward work, but that schema no longer includes the finder definitions. My question is, with what and how I can replace the finder blocks in my description? Should I use the weblogic-query - type? Is there any documentation of how to change the finder definitions to that?
Here's an example of my finder block:

Took a tip from your response, got it fixed. Here is what I found:
I did a command-i on Mail.app. The top left-hand corner icon in the command-i window was the same as what I had used to replace /Applications/Mail.app/Contents/Resources/ApplicationIcon.icns, i.e., it was the desired replaced image, but the image in the "Preview"section of the command-i window was the same as the default image of the Hawk.
So I copied my version of the /Applications/Mail.app/Contents/Resources/ApplicationIcon.icns to the Desktop of the affected account. I dragged that image onto the small image window in the upper left hand corner of the command-i window, pasting an identical image on top of what was already there. BUT, the image in the "Preview" field of the command-i window changed from the old default image to be the same as the desired replacement /Applications/Mail.app/Contents/Resources/ApplicationIcon.icns image that I had copied to my Desktop.
Problem solved. Not sure where, in a unixy command line sense, the command-i Preview image lives within a user's account.
Weird that this was only an issue with user accounts that had been logged into and whose dock visibly displayed the Mail icon before I replaced it. User accounts whose dock never displayed the Mail icon until after I replaced it were no problem. Very strange. But, fixed. Hopefully, this bandaid will survive reboot

Process for replacing images

I would like to get our opinion on how I am working when replacing images.
The help-project has not been updated since it first was generated but much has been done to the system. So there are a lot of images to replace but I have very limited time and the customer want as much as possible to be done. This means that I have to do some things in a way that might not be the best way but is the fastest. But I don’t want to work in a way that we later regret because it causes some problem that I haven’t realized yet. I don’t have much knowledge of the updates of the system or of the RoboHelp-project (what is described in the help, where in the help is it described).
I capture the image with IrfanWiew.
I delete the old image in the Design Editor. (I’m aware that the image is not removed from the project but I will deal with this later.)
I paste the image in the Design Editor. (I find this the fastest way to get the new pictures where they should go.)
When I have finished replacing images I create a folder and drag the images there (either in RoboHelp or in Windows Explorer). The old images are in a separate folder but I don’t want the new images in the same folder because it might be some name conflicts.
I remove unused images by looking at the report Unused Files.
Is this an ok way to work?

If you are replacing one image with another, you could could save them with the same file name and in the same location. Your project should then pick it up. However there is a proviso that the old and new images are exactly the same size. If they are not, you may have to reset the image size inside the Design Editor for each image.
If you use your workflow, I would not paste the image in. Whilst this is acceptable, you'll end up with image file names that bear no resemblance to the image (e.g. image001.png, image002.png, etc.) which may create future difficulties. Also ensure you drag your images from INSIDE your project. If you do this in Windows, your project will be unaware you have moved them and report them as broken links.

by using a caching proxy server. That should do the trick automaticly for you. But why. It's not that you realy need vast amount's of bandwidth or power to serve phones with images...

Replacing image and keeping existing action in Flash CS5.5

I'm updating an existing Flash swf file that was created using CS5.5. The only thing I have to do is replace the image used. When I import the new image it changes the action used with the existing image. How can I import the image I want to use AND keep the existing action that was used?
