How to resize original image that received from server

Hi Helper's,
I'm getting error on time of resizing image such as "Error #2030: End of file was encountered". I want to resize as per specified size. Code is written in Flash builder 4.5. Please find my code below and help me to correct.

If anyone faced similar kind of problem?

Is there a specific reason why using a BitmapImage would not work for your use case? If you are worried about the overhead, I would take a look at the source and copy out the bits you need. One thing I noticed after looking at the source is that they do not use any kind of encoder to perform that functionality. Is there a specific reason you need this?
Thanks for your reply and happy to see you.
No reason, I got above code When I google it and changed accordinaly to meet req. My requirement is, server will be giving 400*350 (Byte array) size image. That one what to resize into 75*100 and apply it to image component. I'm fine with any approarch, however if the image size is less than 75*100, then should not stretch the image. I have tried with fillMode (BitmapFillMode.CLIP), scaleMode(BitmapScaleMode.LETTERBOX). Please update your concern on same.
Note: Plz ignore this maxWidth="59" property in BorderContainer property.

  • How to resize multiple images?

    I am newbie to RH and would like to know if there is a method /shortcut by which I can resize multiple images?
    Specifically to my project: I have close to 50 tables containing various images and their descriptions. When I insert these images into RH, the original image size is inserted and these images are of various sizes.
    I know how to resize multiple images in Word but not in RH and hence, reaching to higher powers
    I am using RH 9
    Appreciate all your help!

    Hi There, Well the best option is to resize each image individually but if you feel that you can select all images together and the  resize them all at once I am sure that you would like to give a read to this post from forums which talks about this job

  • How to resize display image item?

    How to resize an image in display image item not in column?
    I find a way to resize it in column which similar to this way
    decode(nvl(dbms_lob.getlength(PLAYER_PIC),0),0,null,
    '<img style="border: 4px solid #CCC; -moz-border-radius: 4px; -webkit-border-radius:
    4px;" '||
    'src="'||
    apex_util.get_blob_file_src('P5_PLAYER_PIC',ROWID)||
    '" height="75" width="75" alt="Player Image" title="Player Image" />')
    detail_img
    but when I try to implement it to display image item which I returned the image from the column, I cant resize it this way, or may be I used wrong syntax, can you please help me finding way to resize it with steps?

    I guess it is because of some carriage returns in your dynamic img tag that is being generated may be not, so make sure there are no breaks half-way through he attributes of the img tag.
    decode(nvl(dbms_lob.getlength(PLAYER_PIC),0),0,null, '<img style="border: 4px solid #CCC; -moz-border-radius: 4px; -webkit-border-radius: 4px;" '|| 'src="'|| apex_util.get_blob_file_src('P5_PLAYER_PIC',ROWID)|| '" height="75" width="75" alt="Player Image" title="Player Image" />')  detail_imgand also inspect the element/img to see if the code is rendered correctly

  • How can I assign image file name from Main() class

    I am trying to create library class which will be accessed and used by different applications (with different image files to be assigned). So, what image file to call should be determined by and in the Main class.
    Here is the Main class
    import org.me.lib.MyJNIWindowClass;
    public class Main {
    public Main() {
    public static void main(String[] args) {
    MyJNIWindowClass mw = new MyJNIWindowClass();
    mw.s = "clock.gif";
    And here is the library class
    package org.me.lib;
    public class MyJNIWindowClass {
    public String s;
    ImageIcon image = new ImageIcon("C:/Documents and Settings/Administrator/Desktop/" + s);
    public MyJNIWindowClass() {
    JLabel jl = new JLabel(image);
    JFrame jf = new JFrame();
    jf.add(jl);
    jf.setVisible(true);
    jf.pack();
    I do understand that when I am making reference from main() method to MyJNIWindowClass() s first initialized to null and that is why clock could not be seen but how can I assign image file name from Main() class for library class without creating reference to Main() from MyJNIWindowClass()? As I said, I want this library class being accessed from different applications (means different Main() classes).
    Thank you.

    Your problem is one of timing. Consider this simple example.
    public class Example {
        public String s;
        private String message = "Hello, " + s;
        public String toString() {
            return message;
        public static void main(String[] args) {
            Example ex = new Example();
            ex.s = "world";
            System.out.println(ex.toString());
    }When this code is executed, the following happens in order:
    1. new Example() is executed, causing an object to constructed. In particular:
    2. field s is given value null (since no value is explicitly assigned.
    3. field message is given value "Hello, null"
    4. Back in method main, field s is now given value "world", but that
    doesn't change message.
    5. Finally, "Hello, null" is output.
    The following fixes the above example:
    public class Example {
        private String message;
        public Example(String name) {
            message = "Hello, " + name;
        public String toString() {
            return message;
        public static void main(String[] args) {
            Example ex = new Example("world");
            System.out.println(ex.toString());
    }

    IF.... .no other backups have occured since you deleted the file, you might be able to retrieve it using an application like Disk Warrior. It's about $100 as I recall, and there are no guarantees that it will work.
    DiskWarrior 4 - The Disk Utility for Mac  Disk Repair, Mac Directory ...
    Any of the free or low priced utilities that you might see or try will not be able to retrieve a deleted file from a Time Capsule.
    If any backups have occured since you deleted the file, the deleted file has almost certainly been overwritten. No way to retrieve it in that case.

    I have decided to dedicate this thread to the wonderful errors of Lion OSX. Each time I find a huge problem with Lion I will make note of it here.
    Today I discovered a new treasure of doggie poop in Lion. No Save As......
    I repeat. No Save As. In text editor I couldn't save the file with a new extension. I finally accomplished this oh so majorly difficult task (because we all know how difficult it should be to save a file with a new extension) by pressing duplicate and then saving a copy of the file with a new extension. Yet then I had to delete the first copy and send it to trash. And of course then I have to secure empty trash because if I have to do this the rest of my mac's life I will be taking up a quarter of percentage of space with duplicate files. So this is the real reason they got rid of Save As: so that it would garble up some extra GB on the ole hard disk.
    So about 20 minutes of my time were wasted while doing my homework and studying for an exam because I had to look up "how to save a file with a new extension in  mac Lion" and then wasted time sitting here and ranting on this forum until someone over at Apple wakes up from their OSX-coma.
    are you freaking kidding me Apple? I mean REALLY?!!!! who the heck designed this?!!! I want to know. I want his or her name and I want to sit down with them and have a long chat. and then I'd probably splash cold water on their face to wake them up.
    I am starting to believe that Apple is Satan.

  • How to upload an image to EBS file server (Not store in database) with OAF?

    Dear all,
    I can upload an image into database with blob type. But I want to know how to upload an image to EBS file server. I try to search the forum but I cannot find the solution I want.
    Anybody can reallize it? Please give me some advice or idea?
    Thanks.
    Kenny

    Kenny,
    Framework doesn't provide the option of storing the images as files. You can write a javascript to open a popup and provide a standard HTML file upload component which will save the file on specified location.

  • How do I reposition image scroller bar from middle to the right

    I am customising an image thumb scroller. and trying to follow up previously developed code.
    All worked fine until the last moment when thumbnails bar is positioned as if its starting point is in the middle of the screen. I suppose it was developed for the flash screen layout with centered coordinates. My stage probably has them set to the upper left corner.
    I can not make the bar move.

    Hi, thanks for taking a look at my problem.
    I assume that the code was difficult to read due to an unusual line brakes, which somehow I got when pasting on this site.
    Please take a look I am pasting the code anew in it entirety:
    (please let me know if you would like me to separate the areas which I believe give me troubles to address my previously describe problem:

  • How to create an Image that is available to multiple locations?

    I can create an image from a virtual machine, but this image is only available to the location where the virtual machine was originally created (for example East US).
    I want to create a single image that is available to multiple locations (East US, North Europe, Southeast Asia, etc...)
    Is this possible?  I've noticed that stock images are available to multiple locations, can user images be configured in the same way?
    Thanks

    hi,
    As far as I know, it is not supported currently. But you could use a compromise method. You could copy the Image into other regions storage account. Then you could create the VM using yourself Image. But you may be charged the outbound data. I recommend
    you could refer to this thread (http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/04956637-45c5-40c9-9422-5b1c4de681bf/how-to-move-virtual-machine-to-a-different-region?forum=WAVirtualMachinesforWindows
    Hope it helps.

  • I want to take an image that's from my files, no cropped and be able to set up action(s) where I can drop that image behind an 8x10 frame overlay, then the same with a 5x7 frame overlay, then the same image behind a memory mate overlay that's an 8x10 size

    So is there a way to do this using the images right from the camera, where I don't have to crop three different sized images and drag them into the overlays?  I can set up an action for each, but cropping the same image 3x is a pain in the ***..!

    There are.  I did not write you need to learn scripting and write your own scripts.  As I wrote most Photoshop will never write a script.  However I would write every Photoshop user will at times use a Photoshop script to do some automated process for them.
    I wrote the it would be very hard to do what you want to do would a straight Photoshop action.  Actions on their own can not use logic.  An action would need to to it by brute force.
    However in Photoshop CC Adobe added conditional action support.  With this support it is now possible to create a group of actions to process some conditions.  Like you can separate Landscape from portraits have an Action for processing  landscape images and an other for processing portrait images.
    Size is still hard to deal with for you can have landscape's the are extremely wide to landscapes that are square and portraits the are extremely narrow to those that are almost square.
    Image the extreme aspect ratio will not fill a 8:10 or 5:7  area it resized to 10 and 7 and creating crops the have 8"10 and 5:7 will have images compositions where most of your image content has been discarded.
    Camera images do not have extreme aspect ratio the usually have  3:2 or 4:3 aspect ratios there are exceptions.  When you have print made the are 5x7 and 8x10 by printers  the prints you receive from the printers are center crops from your image files.
    It is very easy to make center crops if aree images have the same aspect ratio and orientation to begin with.  Now with CC you can have seperate actions to the two orientations.
    A general solution would need handle arbitrary aspect ratios the resulting center crop may well not have a satisfactory image composition for source image with extreme aspect ratios.
    Photoshop ship with several scripts users use all the time to process their image.  You may have used some yourself. Do any of these sound familiar to you. Conditional Mode Change, ContactSheetII, Delete All Empty Layers, Export Layers To Files, ExportColorLookupTables,  Fit Image, Flatten All Layer Effects, Flatten All Masks, generate, Image Processor, Layer Comps To Files, Layer Comps To PDF, Lens Correct, Load DICOM, Load Files into Stack, Merge To HDR, Photomerge, Script Events Manager and Statistics.
    My action package as I wrote contains more the a dozen script I wrote to be used in actions to add logic into the actions.
    It would also be extremely easy to create a Photo Collage Template PSD that contains a background layer that has your two frames the 8x10 and 5x7 and also have two alpha channels to map the locations of the images.  That can be batch populated with my script  BatchPicturePackage.
    Photo Collage Toolkit
    Photoshop scripting is powerful and I believe this package demonstrates this A video showing a 5 image collage PSD template  being populates with images:
    The package includes four simple rules to follow when making Photo Collage Template PSD files so they will be compatible with my Photoshop scripts.
    Size the photo collage templates for the print size you want - width, height and print DPI resolution.
    Photo collage templates must have a Photoshop background layer. The contents of this layer can be anything.
    Photo collage templates must have alpha channels named "Image 1", "Image 2", ... "Image n".
    Photo collage templates layers above the background layers must provide transparent areas to let the images that will be placed below them show through.
    There are twelve scripts in this package they provide the following functions:
    TestCollageTemplate.jsx - Used to test a Photo Collage Template while you are making it with Photoshop.
    CollageTemplateBuilder.jsx - Can build Templates compatible with this toolkit's scripts.
    LayerToAlphaChan.jsx - Used to convert a Prototype Image Layer stack into a template document.
    InteractivePopulateCollage.jsx - Used to interactively populate Any Photo Collage template. Offers most user control inserting pictures and text.
    ReplaceCollageImage.jsx - use to replace a populated collage image Smart Object layer with an other image correctly resized and positioned.
    ChangeTextSize.jsx - This script can be used to change Image stamps text size when the size used by the populating did not work well.
    PopulateCollageTemplate.jsx - Used to Automatically populate a Photo Collage template and leave the populated copy open in Photoshop.
    BatchOneImageCollage.jsx - Used to Automatically Batch Populate Collage templates that only have one image inserted. The Collage or Image may be stamped with text.
    BatchMultiImageCollage.jsx - Used to Automatically Batch Populate Any Photo Collage template with images in a source image folder. Easier to use than the interactive script. Saved collages can be tweaked.
    BatchPicturePackage.jsx - Used to Automatically Batch Populate Any Photo Collage template with an image in a source image folder
    PasteImageRoll.jsx - Paste Images into a document to be print on roll paper.
    PCTpreferences.jsx - Edit This File to Customize Collage Populating scripts default setting and add your own Layer styles.

  • How do you link images that have no link to begin with?

    Im working with a file created by someone else.  I have seen this before but there are no links in the links window for a lot of the images that I click.  I have found this can happen when doing a copy/paste of an image from a website, photoshop, etc...  Is there a way to give these images an actual link so I dont have to go through and drop in the actual image and resize it all from scratch to make it fit with the non-linked image?

    It's not quite that bad... you can script this. For instance, this oneline script:
    app.selection[0].graphics[0].place(File.openDialog())
    operates on a selected image (such as one copy-and-pasted, though it would also work with a properly placed image) and opens a file dialog and lets you select a new image which is then placed in it, preserving the scale. Can't do anything about the crop though.
    Does that help? Do you need more automation? Or explanation how to use it?
