How to resolve Session Component

Hi,
How can we resolve Session component, we know that NucleusResolverUtil.resolveName("component-path") will resolve only global components , and the request.resolveName("component-path") also resolve only global components. If we could have dynamo request we could have resolve it. we are using Different Presentation Layer Framework so we dont have DynamoHttpServletRequest.
Thanks,

The DynamoServletRequest is initialized when your HttpServletRequest request processed by the dynamo page filter (atg.filter.dspjsp.PageFilter). Check to see if you web.xml has the following lines in it.
<!-- Dynamo Server Page Filter -->
<!-- -->
<!-- This filter invokes the dynamo application framework -->
<!-- servlet pipeline. -->
<filter>
<filter-name>DynamoServerPageFilter</filter-name>
<display-name>DynamoServerPageFilter</display-name>
<description>This filter invokes the dynamo application framework servlet pipeline.</description>
<filter-class>atg.filter.dspjsp.PageFilter</filter-class>
</filter>
<!-- Filter Mappings -->

<!-- -->
<filter-mapping>
<filter-name>DynamoServerPageFilter</filter-name>
<url-pattern>/*</url-pattern>

  • Resolving session scoped component in global scope component.

    Hi,
    I am implementing batch process and i am need to resolve session scoped component in global scoped component.
    In global scope component (one of the component referred by my scheduler which also in global scope as usual) and i need to resolve session scoped "/atg/epub/workflow/WorkflowView" component in my scheduler.
    I tried all possibilities but nothing worked out. I do not have access to current request, because its batch process. following ways i tried,
    1. getResolveName("/atg/epub/workflow/WorkflowView") method of GenericService which is extended by my global scope component -- This returns null.
    2. Tried to get the current request on ServletUtils to use resolveName() method on request.
    ServletUtlis.getCurrentRequest() - This returns null as expected.
    Is there any way to resolve session scoped component in global scope component. Thanks in advance.

    Try below :
    If you want to resolve the name of a Nucleus component from Java code that is not itself a Nucleus service, you must first initialize Nucleus with this construct:
    Nucleus.getGlobalNucleus().resolveName("target component")
    where target component is the name of the component you are looking up. Note that this construct works only for components with global scope.
    You can also resolve names of Nucleus components using the Java Naming and Directory Interface (JNDI). The following example shows how you can use JNDI to access the Scheduler component:
    String jndiName = "dynamo:/atg/dynamo/service/Scheduler";
    Context ctx = new javax.naming.InitialContext ();
    Scheduler s = (Scheduler) ctx.lookup (jndiName);

  • HT4236 Syncing photos using iTunes in windows revealed this error message "iPad Jayvee cannot be synced because it cannot be read from or written to ." Please advise asap how to resolve the issue.  Thanks!

    Please advise how to resolve error message - cannot be synced because it cannot be read from or written to.

    Hello Janet,
    I would recommend this article named 'Disk cannot be read from or written to' when syncing iPod or 'Firmware update failure' error when updating or restoring iPod found here http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1207
    Outdated operating system software
    Make sure you have the latest updates for your operating system, which may include improvements for device connections. For example, many USB and FireWire improvements have been included in Windows Service Packs.Check for Mac OS X downloads. Check for Windows updates.
    Computer needs updates
    Make sure you have the latest updates available for your specific computer model (or components for home-built PCs). These are usually available for download on the support website for the maker of the PC (or component). Many USB updates are listed as "Intel chipset" or just "chipset" updates on PC manufacturer's support and download websites.
    Software interference
    Some software can interfere with iTunes, making it unable to write files to your iPod. Think about what software you have installed, and try disabling any add-ons that might be interfering with iTunes. Check your suspected software's documentation or contact the software maker if you need assistance with disabling the application. Out-of-date or incorrectly configured security software frequently causes this issue. See these steps for identifying and troubleshooting third-party security software.
    Damaged files
    If one of your music files or photos is damaged, iTunes may display one of these errors when transferring that file to the iPod. If you identify a file that is causing the error, try deleting that file and reimporting it from a backup file or from the original source. You may be able to repair files by repairing the disk (see the solutions in the next section).
    Unregistered .dll files (Windows)
    Malware or other software may cause an issue with the digital signing of Windows XP drivers. First try restoringthe iPod using the latest version of iTunes.. If you are unable to restore it or the symptom reappears, follow the steps in this document.
    Damaged disk structure
    These errors can also appear if the format of your computer's hard drive or your iPod disk is damaged.
    To repair your computer's hard disk—Mac OS X users, read this article for instructions. Windows users, search the Help system in Windows for chkdsk to get more information on checking and repairing the disk structure.
    To repair an iPod disk—Restore the iPod or iPod shuffle using the latest version of iTunes.
    Warning: Be sure to back up your data before restoring an iPod. The restore process cannot be undone. All of your songs and files will be deleted.
    Corrupt iPod photo Cache
    If you're getting the error when transferring photos to an iPod photo, try deleting the iPod photo Cache and then starting the photo sync again.
    Lost connection
    Make sure that the connections from your computer to the iPod are snug and do not wiggle or come loose during transfers. For example, if you use the wrong size dock for your iPod, it can put strain on the connectors and cause a bad connection. See these articles for more information:
    Learn about iPod Universal Dock
    iPod Dock: Specifications
    Conflict with third-party hardware
    Third-party USB or FireWire devices may also interfere with iTunes' ability to communicate with your iPod. Remove all USB and FireWire devices except the keyboard and mouse before reconnecting your iPod to the computer.
    Bad hardware
    Hardware failure or non-compliant hardware can cause these errors. This could be an issue with iPod hardware or with the cable or dock you're using, but more often it's an issue with the USB or FireWire card or interface in your computer. Some USB and FireWire interfaces just don't work very well. If you isolate the issue to the USB or FireWire interface in your computer, you may want to try a different port, get the computer serviced, or replace the card or interface with a better one.
    If you isolate the issue to an Apple-supplied cable or dock, or the iPod itself, you can get it serviced here.
    Take care,
    Sterling

    my connections were correct, i am able to connect the database still it is showing the same exception.
    How to resolve this.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Sravanya.

    Jitendra & Midhun,
    1. I am able to login the SCC with supAdmin & 12345678 credentials.
    2. Yes, i am using the admin security.
    3. Yes, i am connecting the SUP server from my workspace.
    4.  No, i did not select the Dynamic credentials Option.
    1.  I created a MBO with a oracle function i.e.,
              select apps.fnd_web_sec.validate_login(:uname, :pwd) from Dual1
    2. Then for Uname & Pwd i created two personalization keys which are with storage type "Transient".
    3. I deployed the MBO in server, that is successful.
    4. Then I created a Hybrid App Designer, with two editboxes(Username & Password) and one button(Login).
    5. I gave the type of Login button is OnlineRequest, selected the MBO, and checked the radio button of ObjectQuery, selected ' findall '.
    6. Then i mapped the personalization keys to two editboxes(Username & Password).
    7. Then i gave success screen and generated error screen.
    8. Then i generated the hybrid app, it was also successful.
    9. Now i am able to access my application in my Simulator with the registered device of SCC.
    10. Then i gave the Username & Password, clicked on Login button, then it is throwing 401 error.

  • How to resolve the dump Syntax error in program /1BCWDY/824VCAJI0ED4WMLLJ7N

    I have created 4 components and I have linked them to a single web dynpro application component through an interface.
    This is working fine in development.
    When we moved all these objects to quality and when i run the application it is opening the default component. However when i try to call any other component it is giving the following dump.
    Syntax error in program /1BCWDY/824VCAJI0ED4WMLLJ7NV==CP.
    When we debugged we found that this dump is arising in the CREATE COMPONENT method.
    Please suggest how to resolve this issue.

    Hi,
    Using the method prepare_dynamic_navigation i am calling all the components.
    After this method i have written the following code for deleting the active and create the new component.
    Delete the active componet if any before bind the called component
      IF wa_cmp_usage-component_usage->has_active_component( ) IS NOT INITIAL.
        wa_cmp_usage-component_usage->delete_component( ).
      ENDIF.
    Bind the compont called to this main component
      wa_cmp_usage-component_usage->create_component( lv_target_comp ).     -
    > when i debug, inside this am getting dump.
    In ST22 the error is occuring in the following place.
      call method (l_gen_class_name)=>if_wdr_classloader~create_instance
        receiving
          component_instance = me->component_factory.
    I am actually 5 components. The default and the fifth components are only having tab and a text view. There are no other UI elements. These two components are working.
    The remaining components are having many UI elements and these components are giving the above said dumps.

    "How to Resolve ORA-29532 Java 2 Permission Problems in RDBMS 8.1.6 and 8.1.7".
    Problem Description
    Periodically an application running in the Enterprise Java Engine
    (EJE) formerly known as the "Oracle 8i JVM", "the JSERVER component", or
    the "Aurora JVM" will fail with a "java 2" permissions error having the
    following format :
    Note : Message shown below have been reformatted for easier readability.
    java.sql.SQLException: ORA-29532: Java call terminated by uncaught Java exception:
    usually followed by a detailed error message similar to one of the following
    messages :
    Example # 1
    java.security.AccessControlException: the Permission
    (java.net.SocketPermission hostname resolve)
    has not been granted by dbms_java.grant_permission to
    SchemaProtectionDomain(SCOTT|PolicyTableProxy(SCOTT))
    Example # 2
    java.security.AccessControlException: the Permission
    (java.util.PropertyPermission * read,write)
    has not been granted by dbms_java.grant_permission to
    SchemaProtectionDomain(SCOTT|PolicyTableProxy(SCOTT))
    Example # 3
    java.security.AccessControlException: the Permission
    (java.io.FilePermission \matt1.gif read)
    has not been granted by dbms_java.grant_permission to
    SchemaProtectionDomain(SCOTT|PolicyTableProxy(SCOTT))
    Explanation
    The java 2 permission stated in line # 2 of each of the above "Examples"
    has not been granted to the user specified in line 4 of the above "Examples".
    Solution Description
    The methodology to solve this issue is identical for all java 2 permissions
    cases.
    1) Format a call "dbms_java.grant_permission" procedure as described below.
    2) Logon as SYS or SYSTEM
    3) Issue the TWO commands shown below
    4) Logoff as SYS or SYSTEM
    5) Retry your application
    For Example # 1
    1) Logon as SYS or SYSTEM
    2) Issue the following commands :
    a) call dbms_java.grant_permission('SCOTT',
    'java.net.SocketPermission',
    'hostname',
    'resolve');
    b) commit;
    Note: Commit is mandatory !!
    3) Logoff as SYS or SYSTEM
    4) Retry your application
    For Example # 2
    1) Logon as SYS or SYSTEM
    2) Issue the following commands :
    a) call dbms_java.grant_permission('SCOTT',
    'java.util.PropertyPermission',
    'read,write');
    b) commit;
    Note: Commit is mandatory !!
    3) Logoff as SYS or SYSTEM
    4) Retry your application
    For Example # 3
    1) Logon as SYS or SYSTEM
    2) Issue the following commands :
    a) call dbms_java.grant_permission('SCOTT',
    'java.io.FilePermission',
    '\matt1.gif',
    'read');
    b) commit;
    Note: Commit is mandatory !!
    3) Logoff as SYS or SYSTEM
    4) Retry your application

    Hi, Don,
    I solved the problem of security exception I mentioned at java procedure topic as following:
    ORA-29532: Java call terminated by uncaught Java exception: java.lang.SecurityException
    I tried to use your solution as following:
    call dbms_java.grant_permission('SDE', 'java.net.SocketPermission', 'ORCL.COHPA.UCF.EDU','resolve');
    but SQL*plus gave me a error message:
    invalid collumn.
    What's the problem?
    However, I call a grant command as following:
    SQL> grant JAVASYSPRIV to sde;
    and then that exception is gone. What's the difference between dbms_java.grant_permission and grant command?
    Thanks

    (Unfortunately, Adobe haven’t got round to an admin website for viewing and editing authorizations.)
    Some of the representatives haven't been properly trained and don't know what to do (and claim there is nothing they can do);
    in that case the only way seems to be to give up that chat and try another session hoping for a properly trained representative.
    If your problem is with another device using Overdrive, Bluefire, Aldiko or similar third party app, it is recommended not to mention that app when on the chat, just mention that you have run out of authorizations  (E_ACT_TOO_MANY_ACTIVATIONS) .  Thanks to AJP_Bear for that tip.

  • How to resolve Library Cache Pin waits?

    Hai All,
    I grant a select privilage on a table to another user. Then my session hangs. after 5 minutes a message present that is 'ORA-04021: timeout occurred while waiting to lock object....' etc.
    I query the v$session_wait and see a Library Cache pin wait present in my session. I copy the p1raw column from here and put into some x$ tables and v$session then I can identify one session using a application using that table. I kill that session . then my grant privilage query works..
    So what is library cache pin waits.. How to identify in application...How to resolve it? it resolve in database level or application level?
    Please Help..
    Shiju

    Most common cause of library cache pin wait event are
    -- Not use binding variables in the query
    -- Some one keeps modify the schema objects
    library cache pin
    This event manages library cache concurrency. Pinning an object causes the heaps to be loaded into memory. If a client wants to modify or examine the object, the client must acquire a pin after the lock.
    Wait Time: 3 seconds (1 second for PMON)
    Parameter Description
    handle address Address of the object being loaded
    pin address Address of the load lock being used. This is not the same thing as a latch or an enqueue, it is basically a State Object.
    mode Indicates which data pieces of the object that needs to be loaded

    Updating iTunes 12.1 and get error message "The procedure entry point CMBlockBufferCopyDataBytes could not be located in the dynamic link library CoreMedia.dll". What went wrong and how to resolve this?

    Entry point errors can often be fixed by deleting the offending dll, then repairing the component it is part of.
    For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
    The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down the page in case one of them applies.
    Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.
    If the advice above doesn't resolve things you could try this alternate version:
    iTunes 12.1.0.71 for Windows (64-bit - for older video cards) - itunes64setup.exe (2015-01-28)
    which is a 64-bit installer for the 32-bit version of the core application, similar to previous 64-bit releases.
    Or roll back to the previous build:
    iTunes 12.0.1.26 for Windows (32-bit) - iTunesSetup.exe (2014-10-16)
    iTunes 12.0.1.26 for Windows (64-bit) - iTunes64Setup.exe (2014-10-16)

    Hi,
    Have you got a page process on your page named "hiring Export". This appears to be why your getting the error. It appears you are trying to submit the page and insert or update a table and populate a column that has a number type with text rather than a number. Can you create an example on apex.oracle.com?
    Thanks

    We have EBS 11.5.10.2 on 9.2.0.8 db. the Accrual Reconciliation Rebuild Manager program always stuck on wait event PL/SQL lock timer. I want to know how to resolve the wait event. I use below query to identify wait
    SELECT vs.sid,vs.serial#,vs.inst_id,vs.osuser,vw.event,vw.p1,vw.p2,vw.p3 ,vt.sql_text , vs.program
    FROM gv$session_wait vw, gv$sqltext vt , gv$session vs
    WHERE vw.event = 'PL/SQL lock timer'
    AND vt.address=vs.sql_address
    AND vs.inst_id = vw.inst_id
    AND vs.sid = vw.sid;
    Thanks in Adv.

    Many concurrent managers in eBusiness Suite implement "sleeps" so that they they wake up to check fnd_concurrent_requests every N minutes.
    I would ignore this wait event (but i would check to see that the managers don't have very short sleeps and aren't scanning the requests queue too frequently and/or that there aren't too many manager processes doing such).

    BTW: Are you very sure that the waits are in the program "Accrual Reconciliation Rebuild Manager" ? It seems to be a Manager to me.

  • How to resolve RESOURCE_SEMAPHORE and RESOURCE_SEMAPHORE_QUERY_COMPILE wait types

    We are trying to figure out root cause of slow running sql server queries hitting/fetching data from one of the database , size 300 GB, hosted on server with below configuration:
    Windows server 2003 R2, SP2, Enterprise Edition, 16 GB RAM , 12 CPU'S 32 Bit
    SQL server 2005, SP4, Enterprise Edition, 32 Bit.
    We have already informed business on the upgrade to 64 bit which would take over a month.
    But for the current issue, we are trying to gather the data if we can resolve the memory pressure or finally come to a conclusion to increase RAM.
    Action Completed: Re-indexing and update stats are proper for this DB.
    As shown below, we have been noticing the semaphore waittype for past 5 days, ran during the load hours:
    Few info after below queries: size of buffer= 137272
    SELECT SUM(virtual_memory_committed_kb)
    FROM sys.dm_os_memory_clerks
    WHERE type='MEMORYCLERK_SQLBUFFERPOOL'
    and semaphore memory= 644024 per below query
    SELECT SUM(total_memory_kb)
    FROM sys.dm_exec_query_resource_semaphores
    Below is some more info gathered from dm_exec_query_resource_semaphores and sys.dm_exec_query_memory_grants dmv's
    So from above info gathered and per SP_Blitz data Resource semaphore seems to be the problem.
    Is memory 'target_memory_kb' assigned for resource semaphore id's too low, as compared to 16 GB RAM available.
    Note* per analysis on 8 hours run 'target_memory_kb' is always under 1 GB, compared to 16 GB available?
    what could be the issue here and how to resolve, please suggest
    Thanks

    I've performed index tuning for those queries, like missing index , rebuilds and stats update.
    So is it going to be more worst, after that change of MAXDOP ?
    Index and query tuning goes hand-in-hand.  Proper indexes with updated stats alone won't improve performance if queries contain non-sargable expressions or are coded in a suboptimal way.  You need to examine the problem queries and execution
    plans in detail to see if performance opportunities exist.  Be aware that SQL Server may throw parallelism to address an issue like a non-sargable query predicate.  The query may run faster as a result but at the cost of more CPU utilization
    for the duration of the query that may impact other users.  I suggest changing MAXDOP after query tuning.  You may need to experiment for the most optimal value for your workload.
    However, concern would be this one query, which as per developer is just a part of filter in ssrs reports, i.e. small query for the larger query has multiple sessions open for almost a day now.
    By smaller query, are you referring to the number of rows returned?  Perhaps the reason is the number of rows actually touched.  Post the query, DDL and execution plan.

  • How to release sessions  on db server when netwok outage occur

    hi,
    my database in 10g release 2.About 500 users are remotely connected.due to network breakage or light off at user side the clients disconnect from servers but their session still connected to database server .next time when users connect again then database server hang .how can i resolve this issue means when client disconnect from server then their sessions also disconnect from database server.
    thx
