How to resolve this error???? Pls help

Hello,
I hv installed my tomcat and i have no problem in starting it. however when i connect to the net by keying
http://localhost:8080/
all my jsp files could not be seen and there is this error prompt as shown below:
ERROR: The requested URL could not be retrieved
While trying to retrieve the URL: http://localhost:8080/
The following error was encountered:
ERROR 207 -- Cannot access the proxy-cache server through the URL that you entered.
This means that:
You may not use this proxy to connect to that url.
What could be the likely problem ......???????
Please kindly advise........i need this badly cos without this i could not keep my project going....

Hi
The error that you have pasted is this the one that appears in the browser or at the server console. If this appears at the browser end then this is a browser problem.
Two things come to my mind:
1. The server is not running on the port 8080. Make sure you are trying to connect to the right port number. This can be found out by looking at the server startup output or from the server.xml file in the TOMCAT_HOME\conf directory
2. The browser may be using a proxy. For this you have to tell the browser that for sources located on the localmachine the Proxy will not be required. You can set this up in the following manner:
a. For IE: Tools - Internet Options - Connections Tab - Lan Settings - Check the box where it says bypass proxy server for local addresses.
b. For Netscape: Edit - Preferences - Advanced - Proxies. If you have the Manual Proxy checked. Click the view button. In the Exceptions Box type localhost

I had the same probelm and found that the problem lies with 64bit programs such as safari and microsoft internet explorer. I have resolved the issue on my PC based server by using a 32 bit ie and same on my mac by using the same running windows under parallels.
So far the problem with the 64 bit side of it is still to be resolved.
Hope this helps and gets you guys up and running until suchtime a 64 bit solution is found.

There was an instance failure.
Then you did a clean shutdown using shutdown immediate
After that, was there any need for giving startup force.
Because that command starts up the database and shuts it down in abort mode, and then starts the database with an instance
recovery.
You should have tried a direct startup also before trying to attempt forceful startup.
*Startup force needs to be used with care.
For carrying out normal startup, simply typing startup will do.
Startup force is being used, when you want to refresh the already running database and facing issues like database showing errors while shutting down before starting up again.
Startup force actually, crashes the instance (just like shutdown abort) and then start your database normally. This do require instance level recovery.*
ORA-00600 are thrown when some internal errors happen. Ideally you should contact Oracle for metalink. For a first level step of troubleshooting, you can search in metalink

I am not sure, if my answer will satisfy you, but anyway I will try:
Field Sales District is technically called BZIRK. In delivery structure is this field located in header (table LIKP), what cause split, if origin document (Sales Order) has different Sales District in some positions. This is standard program behavior. Basically it shouldn't happen, as value is taken from customer master (Sold-to Party) and copied to header and items of sales document. But user can manually changer for particular items.
Well, to solve situation you have few ways:
1. Do not allow users to change value on items - can be managed by organizational decision or by authorization concept.
2. If there is a reason to have different Sales District in items, then it can be managed in in routines for copy control between sales and delivery documents (delete value of BZIRK for all items for instance). But then will be this information lost for further usage. It seems to me to invoice is value copied directly from sales order (field VBRP-BZIRK_AUFT) then it mustn't be a critical for analyses.
3. Your situation also can happen if you wants to collect more sales documents to one delivery. In this case can be that Sales District is different for same customer in different sales order (even seems to be little bit strange). Then solution from point 2 can help as well, I believe.

This is my service,

HP 3852A;ERROR 18: SYSTEM ERROR- how to resolve this error?

from a vi, I enter a command to communicate with the unit hp3852A : "CONF MEAS TEMPK, 502"
And the unit HP3852A show me an error: #18 internal processor is in an illegal state.
Yesterday, I did not have this problem, and I never move the instrumentation for the lab I work.
How can I resolve this error? Because that's the only command which doesn't work-> CONF MEAS ...(whenever the type of the measurement, DCV,OHM,TEMPK)

The first thing you should do is wire up the error in/error out connections of the gpib functions and check for any errors. At the same time, this will enable you to eliminate the sequence structure and all of those local variables. Since it is the instrument that is displaying the error, it would appear that you've incorrectly programmed it. It might be an illegal command or the write buffer is full. You might want to add a few error queries to the instrument to see when it happens or test your commands in the interactive enviroment of MAX. There is also a driver available for the instrument. Check your LabVIEW Instrument Driver CD or download it here.

How to resolve this error while doing changes in a table

Hi,
For a table, we are accessing the column values in the table through controller with the help of view object. We are also using the function 'setAttribute()' to assign back the formatted value for each and every row.
But once the page is loaded and if the code gets executed from the method 'processRequest()', I am able to see an error message in the top of the page as "The search cannot be executed because the table has pending changes that would be lost."
How to get rid of this error ? Please help me in this regard. Its urgent .

The VO associated to the Table Region on you page is dirty (means that there are some changes done in the VO which has not been commited to the database).

Hi, We have 3 web servers ( 4CPU) and 3 processing servers. WE have CMS on each processing servers. When we run performance testing then we get below error msg in event log and cms fails to serve.
Database access error. Reason [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]Transaction (Process ID 56) was deadlocked on lock resources with another process and has been chosen as the deadlock victim. Rerun the transaction..
Any solution? BO support told me that they can not change how boxi works.

Hi Troy, How many CMS you are running? Are running only one CMS resolves this issue.? I did below to resolve my issues.
We have also optimized our SQL servers. We isntalled new SQL server Native driver and using those. We have also disabled lock escalation at count level but not at memory level. Though BO recommends to disable it at all. We have also increased the size of the tempdb file/log to 1gb. We also increased the size of the system DB file/log to 1GB. We also made changes for allow snapshot isolation on and read commited snapshot on. Boost SQL/Option fibers/async statistics was also set on.
See if this resolves your issue. The reason for this lock is that whenever any new session is created BO writes information about that CMS in temp. Table. Due to multiple CMS trying to lock records in that same table then if it crosses one level defined in SQL server then SQL server will escalate lock at table level. After this escalation table is locked and txn of one CMS is reverted.

           After that i was diagnostics the system but no changes in the lap,,again again lap shows hard disk error(301).
           Then i am chosen the enter option to start up the lap it take long time for openning the windows,after enter the windows that also shows about the hard disk error in within few minitues,
           What can i do?

I am trying to organize some album artwork within a pre-designed template and I keep getting this error when trying to save the file in the eps file format:
Cannot save the illustration The requested transformation would make some objects fall completely off the drawing area.
All the art is within the bleed lines. The only transformation I did was rotating one of the pieces 180 degrees. I'm not exactly sure what it is referring to when illustrator says objects are going to completely fall off the drawing area.

Did you use Guides at all? From the View menu, choose Guides>Clear Guides. Then zoom way out and do a Select All and see if there any stray points near the borders of the artboard. Direct select them and delete. Then try your transformation.
