How to restart Java Application from state when system crash

I want to know about the API that provide mechanism to save your program state peroidically or any specific task completed of application and if system crash and next time when application restart it should be started from previous state.
I required solution urgently plz. replay as soon as possible

write it yourself.
Serializable Interface, FileOutputStream, ObjectOutputStream ... that'd be a start for you.

I need to get JDialog from JFrame when a button is pressed in my application.
Im getting JDialog fine but what my problem is,
When JDialog appears on the screen at the back it is showing windows application which is already opened..
My JFrame hides at that time.
How to make it display on JFrame only...

Specify the JFrame as the owner of the JDialog. Read the JDialog API for the different constructors you can use.

How to remove Java Applications from "Add and Remove Programs" list?

I have deployed my Java applications (both JWS and Applet) via JNLP with allow-offline option enabled and without installer-desc option specified.
My questions are:
1. An entry is added to the Add and Remove Programs list after launching the application via JNLP. Is it due to the specification of JNLP or JWS? Is there anyway to prevent this behavior?
2. I removed my application by clearing the cache via Java Control Panel but the entry for the application is still listed in Add and Remove Programs. How can I remove the entry in the Add and Remove Programs?
I have tried following methods but neither works:
1.Go to Add and Remove Programs, and click [remove] button to the right of my application.
*Warning message like 'Application cannot be uninstalled completely' is thrown.
2.Follow instructions listed @ [Microsoft Online Support site|http://support.microsoft.com/kb/314481/en-us] to remove my application manually via Windows registry.
*Couldn't find appropriate registry entry to delete.

I got a Frame2.class i.e. in c:\1\Frame2.class
it just creates a simple Frame window
say i am using it as a appplication ( Frame2.class)and need it to be start when system restarts, and run it 24x7

3) copied Wrapper.exe from wrapper 3.2.3/bin/ folder to c:\1\bin\ folder
4) Renamed files App.bat - Frame2.bat,
InstallApp-NT.bat - InstallFrame2-NT.bat
UninstallApp-NT.bat - UninstallFrame2-NT.bat
SimpleInstallApp-NT.bat - SimpleInstallFrame2-NT.bat
SimpleUninstallApp-NT.bat - SimpleUninstallFrame2-NT.bat
SimpleApp.bat - SimpleFrame2.bat
AppNoWrapper.bat - Frame2NoWrapper.bat
5) And renamed the c:\1\conf\wrapper.conf.in to wrapper.conf
( I haven't changed any thing in the wrapper.conf file)
6) then i executed the Frame2.bat (double clicking it)
i got this error

How can I prevent Firefox from closing when it crashes?

So, I'm using a Windows 8 computer, & when it crashes, it closes altogether & it's really annoying having to reload my session, but when I was using a Windows 7 computer, Firefox hardly ever closed altogether when it crashed- all it did was freeze. Is there some way to only have it freeze instead of closing altogether? I hope you understand what I'm saying. Thanks.

No, there isn't a way you can choose what Firefox does when it crashes. It crashes for a reason. But we can see what's causing those crashes.

One thing to check: when shutting down or restarting, there is a checkbox in the shutdown/restart dialog which asks whether you want currently open applications to open at startup.

I want to start a Java application via C++ and on some condition i want to suspend the same program not terminate , but suspend

Have you tried running the virtual machine from your C++ application ? You can start Java applications from your C++ application using JNI after starting the Virtual machine from within your C++ application. According to the Java documentation you can even now stop the virtual machine from within your C++ program.
I haven't looked at the 'suspend' detail but I suppose it will not be a problem to call a method via JNI to set a flag to suspend a thread etc.
There is a tutorial: 'Invoking the Java Virtual Machine' at the following URL: http://java.sun.com/docs/books/tutorial/native1.1/invoking/invo.html.
This example seems to work only for version1.1 of the JDK. For JDK1.3, version 1.2, (I am not so sure whether I fully understand Sun's version numbers for Java yet) there is some updates on the JNI for starting the VM from C++. This article is called 'JNI Enhancements'. The URL for this article is:

You have to set version to: JNI_VERSION_1_2
There is only one problem. I get an error when calling JNI_CreateJavaVM from C++. I could not find any documentation that indicates how you can go about diagnosing what is causing the problem. Normally in Visual C++ you can just get the probable cause by inspecting GetLastError() or the function itself can return helpful diagnostic (error) codes.

The app (Excel) is in the dock. When I left click on it there is no check next to open at login.
Lets go back to the beginning when I installed ms office both word and excel were in the dock. then one day excel dissapeared. I put it back in the dock and that is when it started opening during login. There is only one X showing in the dock.
Maybe I have little gremlins.

How to call a WD JAVA application from a WD ABAP application

Hi experts,
Here I have two applications with me. One has been created through WebDynpro ABAP while the other one has been created through WebDynpro JAVA. Now i have to call upon the JAVA aplication from my ABAp application. In other words in need to integrate both the applications so as to have an easy navigation in between them.
In the whole process I need to take care that the data is not lost from both ABAP or JAVA side.

Usally to run WebDynpro for Java Application, we get the Application URL.
If you want to call this WebDynpro Java Application from Webdynpro Abap, then create UI element like Link to Action or LinktoURL and give the url as WebDynpro for Java URL.
